Good place for craft and art items. Large inventory of paints, canvases, yarn, and even silk plants. They have custom framing in the back as well. Very clean and large isles. Judging by the uncrowded visit, I guess that mornings on the weekday are the best time to shop. Good customer service.

They have everything you could possibly need or want. Enlightenment, a lover, a friend, a prophet, a preacher, a kindergarten teacher. And so much paint, so much material to create the masterpiece thats been deep inside you so long. You see it dont you? The world needs it.

Lots of teenagers who are not helpful. I went in because online it stated I could pick up a pumpkin carving kit even curbside. 2 teenagers that were working couldnt help me find them and said that theyre only Halloween sectionly Halloween section was in the middle of the store yet I found 2 other separate areas on my own. When I told them they started saying oh I dont think we have them the quality of your phone isnt very good so I cant see the UPC number. They wouldnt bother even looking it up on their phone yet they looked it up on Walmart and said Walmart has some. I have been to a multitude of stores tonight already and they didnt have anything . When I went to ask another girl for the manager she asked me why and I told her cause I wasnt being helped and so she finally helped me and looked at her phone and showed me that it was out of stock. She was great, but the 1st other 2 people were not and it finally took me asking for a manager.

The employees were not very helpful. Had to go elsewhere. Fun Store, hope they can stay in business, with everything going to online, its nice to see what you are buying.

I feel the holiday decor and crafts are fun we use them as the seasons change for the kids crafts. It is kinda dead so it feels uninviting louder music might help.

Havent gone into a Michaels in years and it was awesome. I felt like a tourist seeing all the wonderful things I could make...... Or maybe like Ariel from little mermaid. Id grab something but I wanted more.

Not only did the store smell great and was air conditioned on this hot Utah day (climate change people!), but I was able to find what I needed at a good price. Im building a wellness kit for a friend and I was able to grab a basket, fake flowers, and a cute journal.

This is a clean and organized store that is good for purchasing pretty much any craft you have. The employees were decently nice and most things were fairly easy to find. Although there could be better signage for getting around because its easy to get lost.

Staff was helpful and selection was good. Make sure to get on their website for 20% off. Checkout was slow

Its alright, theres some good cheep options but not a wide selection of your looking for specific brands or products. Its worth a look though.

I have a cake business and used to get a majority of my supplies from here. Ive been a member of the reward program for at least 4 years and have spent THOUSANDS of dollars at this location over the years. I have never recieved any sort of reward or cash to spend on items. Over the past year most things I love to get for my business have slowly gone away. I cant even get a cake box because they stopped selling them. I hadnt been in for a while and decided to give them another shot at some cake supplies since its close by. Of course they dont have some things Im in need of but I still ended up buying $80 worth of items. I put in my phone number for rewards like I always do even though Ive never recieved anything and put my card in the reader. I then told the cashier oh wait I have a coupon for 20% of my purchase. She was like oh its too late! It would have been nice for her to void my transaction and redo it with the coupon or better yet have her ask me if I had any coupons to use! I will never step foot in anther Michaels store again. Ill drive 15 extra miles to Joans.

Ten people deep in a checkout line and 1 register in operation. Business 101. Pretty frustrating. And they use to mark everything up to cover their 40% off coupons etc. now they’ve done away with those and just have high prices. Not too impressed with them.

The acrylic paint selection here is incredible. Better than hobby lobby which surprised me.

So amazing!! I love it there! Not as great as Hobby Lobby, but they do have similar things and deals. Micheals is a little smaller than Hobby Lobby so there selection isnt as wide, but you can still find some awesome stuff in there. Christmas blew up in that store! They have anything you could need for decorating! From fake trees to fancy ornaments and fake flowers to ornaments you can decorate yourself with your kiddos! One of my favorites stores! Especially this time of year!

I love buying crafts supplies from Michaels, but its barely October and a ton of Halloween stuff was already gone and they were taking everything fall down and putting up Christmas... We still have 25 days left of October and all of November! It would be better to stock more Halloween and fall stuff right now.

Oh Michaels what can I say. I used to love you more. Dont quite know why weve had a bit of a falling out. If I had to put my finger on it, Id say lack of helpful enthusiastic staff, long lines, lower quality and higher prices. I still visit occasionally mostly for their floral and seasonal ribbons. Step it up Michaels Id hate to lose you.

Worst experience, the cashier couldnt even put his book down to check us out. Super unfriendly. This isnt the 1st time we have had horrible customer service at this location. We will not be back.

Sometimes I have a hard time finding at a good price certain supplies, but they have many different assortments to choose from. During times when it was best to stay indoors, the many kits they had made it a lot funner.

This store is a lifesaver when I go to the anime convention next to it and my cosplay prop decides to break for no reason. Also it has pretty much all for my art needs. Good brands of paint, markers, brushes all that, plus the workers are always super nice, this is a great location! :)

It was quite obvious to me that the two employees I interacted with did NOT want to be there. I saw a total of 6 other patrons. Items were scattered all over the floor. It was difficult to find accurate pricing. One employee said, We dont mark them because they will just change in a couple of days.......????? Really? The young man who checked out my items yawned repeatedly...it was 8 pm. He and his coworker seemed more interested in two other employees who didnt show up for work. They had quite a bit to say about them. Im sure this was an interesting story for them but I personally dont need to hear all of the details including the names. I wont be back. I get much better service/selection at Target next door. . .SMH!!!

It was great, got everything I needed for my project. There are in need of more cashiers, they only had one working for quite a while and after 10 min finally got a other.

I get all of my art supplies here. They have a really awesome selection of graphite pencils, colored pencils, and varying other paints, chalks and paper. Michaels always has loads of coupons too so you can get so much stuff for way less than if you went to other art stores. I love coming here.

I went for the 80% off Christmas items. In the middle of January they still had amazing decorations! I bought the most amazing Ritz at the most amazing price. Couldnt be happier!

Being an artist this is my go to place for just about anything I need. I wait for door buster deals to buy canvases at 70% off, paint, and things in ads that give me new ideas. Friendly staff, clean, and decent prices.

Placed an online order for one item we really needed. When the email came saying it was ready, we headed to the store. We had a few other items to pick up, so we did that first and then went to the checkout line...where we waitedAnd waitedAnd waitedSeven people in line and one cashier. Finally a second cashier was called. I told her right away that we had an online order for an item that should be ready. And without any warning. SHE. WALKED. AWAY.She didnt say a word, just walked off. When she came back, she tried for ten minutes to login to an ipad that clearly was not working, and wouldnt even scan our other items. When she finally gave up on the ipad, SHE. WALKED. AWAY. AGAIN.She just disappearedI tried several times to get the other cashiers attention, but she pretended she couldnt hear me.Eventually, she turned around and asked me where the other cashier was. I asked her where her manager was, and she told me shes just a pee-on who doesnt really get paid enough to careFinally, I canceled the item online and had my daughter go get one to be scanned at the counter.Forty-five minutes after starting the checkout process, a very rude manager approaches me and without even looking at me, asks what my problem is. I told her I just wanted to check out and go, and said I had waited so long I just canceled the order. She said oh, so the problem is solved then AND. SHE. WALKED. AWAY.We have shopped here for years, and we needed the items right away, so we waited and bought them, but well make sure we go out of our way to avoid this location in the future.

I love Michaels! The employees are always helpful. I love ordering online and picking it up in store. I shop there frequently for my projects and my kids school projects. They always have what I need and I always pick up great bargains on sale or on clearance through out the year. I purchased scrapbook supplies at their buy1 get2 free sale and paid under $7.00 for their $20 pads of scrapbook paper. I also stock up on their yarn. What a shoppers delight!

Over a month ago I found wonderful things for my sons wedding decorations. We did not use them all and I returned a group of items that we ended up not needing. They were very gracious and kind as we figured out which receipt went with which items. Really appreciated their patience.

Very neat and well organized! The employees were very friendly and had a fun conversation and were willing to help. The prices were really good and you can use the same coupon on multiple transactions so everything is a really good price! The machine wouldnt take my chip though, but the employees explained it happened and were very nice about it!

I hadnt been in at least a couple of years, because I got ill and wound up in a wheelchair. In the past, even maneuvering the small shopping carts could be difficult, so I didnt even want to think about trying with the chair. I was very pleased to find that the aisles, for the most part, were wide enough to accommodate me, and I was able to find most of what I was looking for.Good job, guys. Ill be back.

The military discount is very generous. The staff are nice and respectful. I feel like it is slightly overpriced,however, that will match the price and take 10%off if you find a lower one for the same item . I use Amazon quite regularly and take advantage of this perk.

Although not as big as some of the other chain stores, Michaels is always first on my list when shopping for yarn scrapbooking supplies, or even findings and beads for making jewelry. Add to that their fantastic framing department and home decorating items, Michaels is equipped with pretty much anything you need for all your projects. And dont forget about their craft classes for parents and kids alike.

One of two major craft stores in Layton. They carry all the typical craft items. They have better hours and are open more days than Hobby Lobby. The App is a must have when shopping here. This store is mid-sized to smaller in size. However, it has a good selection and the staff are friendly and helpful. When shopping seasonal, shop early

I love the great quality of the products they carry and also the online app to make shopping easy. They have great coupons for your visit and friendly people to help you with questions or concerns. I also come to Michaels for my craft needs.

I take my young daughter to the crafting classes they hold during the summer and on certain weekends. She has a blast and the instructors are always really nice to her.As a store, its pretty decent. The staff are always friendly, and the bathrooms appear clean and well kept. There are some stores with better inventories and selections, but if youre not looking for something too specific you can find some good deals.
