I love this Target! The pickup service is great. The store is clean, when I have an issue the people here are very accommodating, and I don’t feel bad, like when I shop at Walmart.

Ive been here before but Ive always been left to search for items on my own. The cashiers werent very nice. I dont know if its just the a.m. shift people that are rude. Ill shop here often after 3pm. I found the afternoon workers more pleasant

Everyone knows how much I love target but right now this is not the case. Recently 2 of my drive up orders have been missing items. This means I have to call and come back. Tonight I called and it took 15 minutes to get help. The person really didn’t offer anything or then come back in the store and get it. Well that defeats the purpose of drive up doesn’t it. Drive up has now been taking more time with calls and return visits to get missing items.

Today I came to pick up my birthday cake and when it was time to eat the cake, I opened the box and was very satisfied with how it came out. I loved the design, the cake it’s self and the frosting. My favorite parts of the cake design were the little boat toy on top and the tiny town frosting design at the front side of the cake.

The store is clean, and well merchandised. I love the Magnolia things and other Home Decor items. Target seems to have a good eye for cute trends in design. I also love the special products that sometimes come in like the Levi display with tablecloths and pillows made by the Levi brand. A couple of years ago they had a cute display of Disney things. I also think the target brand toys like Our Generation, have become quite a good quality for a pretty reasonable price.

I love this target. I think they have a large selection compared to other locations. I always can find stuff here when I cant find stuff I like at the Ogden location. I love Layton target. I do think its quite hard to find employees and they dont ever seem to have the check outs open but thats okay, I just use self checkout

The Target Marketplace in Layton has really done an excellent job of remodeling their clothing departments. They are doing a fantastic job of making themselves look upscale and more like a large retailer, even though they still have their grocery department and their pharmacy. Ive always liked the clothing Target has and they are really outdoing themselves now with the brands and styles they carry. Youll see by the photos attached to this review how beautiful the renovation looks. The store looks brighter, larger and more inviting. Kudos to the store management for an excellent job of making customers want to stay longer and buy more!

Open early and late, good for anytime shopping! Its my girls favorite place to waste time, you can find almost everything here.

Drive up/order pick up: pick up was fast and the delivery person was friendly. However, several of my staple items were cancelled on my order. I wasn’t given the option for an alternative or substitution. I mean, butter? In the entire store you were out of all butter and couldn’t find a substitute so it just had to be cancelled? Also a 3lb bag of apples was cancelled, no option for an alternative or substitution. That has happened on previous orders as well. However, I do appreciate that my order is done within 2 hours and the pick up wait time is minimal. That is very nice. I’ve always had kind employees.In store: store always is messy and low on inventory it seems. Again, employees are kind and helpful.

Nice big target and have visited often when I am in there area. I also come to pick stuff up here when my local target is out of stock of things I want or need.

I would like to thank the bakery staff for the awesome special order cake they made for my grandson who is six years old TODAY. He gave us his 5th birthday special order the day before his birthday, which Layton Target bakery happily made. He planned and designed this years birthday cake six months in advance. We of course went to Layton Target. Thank you so much.

LOVE the Layton Target.. maybe too much! Kristina and Amanda at the Starbucks are fantastic, always kind and ready to get your java fix taken care of. Spencer is also pretty fantastic. Hes always so nice when he brings my Drive up orders out. There is one manager that always seems to be a bit grumpy but other than her this is the best Target around!

Pickup was fast, delivery person was friendly and respectful of property, orders contents were accurate. Would recommend curbside pickup offered by Target. Youll need their mobile app to get started.

The store manager Bradley was nothing but extremely rude and hostile with us. He wouldnt sell product that he had in the back that was supposed to ge on shelves. As long as he is employeed as a manager is refuse to and encourage everyone to stay away from Layton

Very convenient location, it is also clean and the staff is nice. It is a little more expensive than other grocery stores though.

This store is a disaster. Dont expect any food from the cafe until at least 11 even though they open at 10 because the teenagers there always tell me the same thing “oh I forgot to start the machines so we’ll have to wait for it to warm up”. Perhaps get some management down there to remind the kids or change the cafe hours. Twice in the last two weeks they have missed an item in my pickup order and don’t even allow you to see your items when they put them in your trunk so I had no idea til I got home and when I call the manager she just says sorry and she can’t do anything about it today unless I drive back. What’s the point of advertising a “quick target run” with drive up if you have to make two trips or lose money? People have jobs and busy lives and if you take money for an item and don’t give the item you should have more solutions and offer more restitution than wasting more of their time to drive back!

I LOVE that there is no minimum purchase of $30 like Walmart. Please never change this! :) And everything is available within 2 hours instead of sometimes a day later like Walmart.

Selection of items, cleanliness of store, friendliness of workers

I am uncertain whether my issue is with Target in Layton or the App; however I feel it relevant to share my most recent experience. I ordered my shampoo through the App (which had NOT had an out of stock notification on my product), they sent me a notification informing that my ONLY item was ready for pickup. I was halfway to Target when I then received a notification that my item was no longer available and only other option was to have it shipped. As annoying as this was, I selected to have it shipped. I was originally notified my shampoo would be delivered on Monday 7/20. I waited most of the day for it on Monday and then was notified it would not arrive until Tuesday. I, again, waited most of the day Tuesday and then was notified it would arrive Wednesday instead. Today is Wednesday. I am anxiously awaiting its arrival as I have been without shampoo for a WEEK now and delivery dates keep getting pushed back. I am understanding of the fact that we are facing a pandemic and products and shipments are affected; however I am very disappointed that I was even able to schedule it for pickup AND be notified that it was ready when it was evidently NO longer available to me. Far better organization is needed on items that ARE and are NOT available and FUTHERMORE need not notify it is READY when it is clearly not. Also they should probably give themselves some wiggle room with projected delivery dates instead of giving an original delivery date and then pushing it back. Very disappointed customer..

If I could give less stars I would. I sat up until midnight to purchase a PS5 online as this is one of the only places I can do a day one purchase. I happened to see that it was available for pickup and I added it to my cart. In the checkout screen, I put in my security code for my card and pressed purchase and the website sat there and loaded for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes it took me back to the cart screen and I had to re-enter my security code and press purchase again. This is all that happened. I never got to actually purchase the ps5 because all the website did was load while I was trying to finish the purchase. I will never recommend anyone go to target and I will also never shop at a Target again.

Great target. clean everywhere. good staff but the produce is questionable. bathrooms are very nice. They have lots of seasonal items towards the back and tons of clothing sections.

First off wouldnt take all of my coupons for items that I had purchased Because they said it was expired even though it expired that day . Decided to take everything back the next day And they gave me a refund that was less than what I had paid the day before when asked about this she said oh well but the subtotal before tax was 1893 and this one is 1989 so youre getting a dollar back more Even though I really paid 2030 Tell me how that makes sense Id give it a zero if I could will never go Back

Huge store... no mens shoes though... virtually everything else.

One of the best Targets out there. Great employees that are actually helpful and courteous. Love the products and they keep things in stock. Clean and organized. Appropriate seasons too. I like that I can shop for Halloween stuff the week of Halloween-no mid-October Christmas decoration takeovers like other frustrating stores in the area with their Christmas full blown in October when Im still looking for candy corn, plastic spiders and trick-or-treat candy. Thank you Target!

I understand that many grocers have chosen to stay open during this time. But there are many people still going into your store. You have so many option for the public to utilize, drive up and pick up services. Why dont you choose to use this time to encourage them? Growing your business in these 2 areas, rather than encouraging the spread of this virus, should be your focus. Especially at the expense of your coworkers health and well being.

Long lines, not enough cashiers, the customer in front of me had a problem that took 10 to resolve while I waited. Then they locked the doors nearest my car so I had to walk the length of the store and back again. GYST Target.

This is crazy!!!! I just came in for milk,and was taken back by the amount of people your letting in the store. Why?!?! How is this legal? Why is the non essential part of the store open? I seen people just hanging out in the store . I will Not be shopping at this location again until you guys correct this. I dont feel safe shopping here. Ive never felt this way about your location before. I wonder if the health department would approve of the amount of people coming in and out.

Im a Target lover!! How can anyone not find what they want at Target? Plus the staff is very attentive and helpful. Makes me want to shop at Target. Its a great store for personal shopping, seasonal needs, Holidays, kids, electronics and food. All in one place. And the Red Card is an essential for me.

Always clean and organized, the buggies are of good quality and dont rattle with each push. Produce is always fresh and stacked neatly. I like using the cart wheel app plus the 5% of you get using your target card.

It was so easy. Just buy online and pick it up.

The lady at the Layton self checkout is extremely rude. I went to purchase 5 items and she kept creeping behind and beside me. Hello, Covid! She stood right by me and my son maybe to make sure I scanned all of my 5 items. The other registers were full-maybe walk around and make sure everyone is scanning items. When it came time to help me with a gift card, she was extremely helpless. She could not help me or answer questions. Completely ineffective and rude.

Don’t shop here if you use WIC. This store has false advertising claiming that they accept WIC approved food items but then turn around and tell you at the register that they don’t actually accept WIC forms of payment. They should probably take down all of their little WIC labels on everything in the food section of the store. Ridiculous.

Who doesn’t love Target? This one is hands down our favorite though. We’ll go out of our way to go to the Layton Target because everyone is just totally friendly and helpful. It’s well kept and organized, it’s big, and it has a great selection. The staff is what really sets them apart though!

It is a despicable inconvenience when this Target store randomly closes its northern entrance. The All Point ATM is moved from the middle of the store to the north side and all shopping we do here is on the NORTH side. I experience a medical foot issue and I wish this store would STOP closing those doors.

Its a clean store and they have nice quality items. I have never had any issues with the staff. They have always been very helpful and friendly.

Great experience at the vision and optical at this location! The eye doctor was so awesome! He was very nice and thorough! I havent had vision correction lenses that improved my eye sight so clearly in a while. The customer service was great. And the eye exam and contact lenses prices were a great deal!

Im not too entirely sure why this should be an issue in times like these, but the only part of that store that needs to be open, is the grocery side, pharmacy and essential cleaning items. There is a contagious virus going around, KILLING people! Regardless of the its just the flu nonsense, you are literally showing how much disregard you have on your employees. Risking them and they in turn, take it home and risk getting their families sick. Why not take a proactive approach and shut down what is not needed? Close early, open later, disinfect the place. Following simple tasks like this could help reduce the spread. Be smart Target, not money hungry.

Great environment. Not overly crowded. Good prices. And very helpful staff. I shop here frequently with my service dog and am always treated with the most respectful and professional manner.

Just shopped at target tonight after finding out walmart closed at 8:30. I NEVER shop at target mainly because their prices are higher than anyone elses but I decided to go anyway to get a zero water filter. Walmart has them 2 for $29.88. Targets price was $30.95. Decided to wait. Every little bit helps.

There is a lady named Stella and she was extremely rude and I heard her talking about other associates behind there back and I just think that is highly inappropriate and not ok. She needs some serious talking to.

Always well organized with a great selection and friendly helpful staff. However while the store is really clean... I am always really disgusted by their bathrooms. I am not sure if they are just not cleaned often enough or if the fixtures are just so old/not well maintained that they look dirty. They could use work in that area.

Used to be good before the Covid 19 pandemic, now they’re under stocked on everything. Walmart allows you to try on stuff, this place will not allow you to try on clothing before purchase.

The products they sell are good, and they have an overall nice work environment, however theres this one rude worker who bothers me very much. Anytime Im hanging out with friends, just minding our own business, he literally stalks us and follows us around. I understand hes doing his job but he has no reason to be looking into my bags and creepy around us. Its very rude and makes me very uncomfortable.

Went to Target this AM, as I walked pretty much the entire store I noticed several employees working diligent and with masks on, clearly practice COVID 19 precautions which is expected and awesome. However as a customer and consumer, not once was I greeted by, acknowledged, asked if I can be helped by any Target employee. I then noticed that any Employee that needed to pass by me refused to greet me, look at me, glanced away, to the side or down and provided absolutely no customer service. As I was exiting the store, I saw a group of 3 Employees huddled together, masks on, no social distancing. As I made my way passed, they disbanded, and one did finally look at me and greeted me. I greeted her back. I then chose to stop (keeping my social distance), asked if a manager was present/available, she then asked how she can help me, she said she is a manager. I asked if I can verbalize an observation and introduced myself by first name. She said yes. With social distancing in place, I provided my experience and observation. She responded she is sorry. My education lesson: following COVID19 precautions does not mean no customer service. It does not mean to not engage with customers, it does not mean stop greeting customers, it does not mean stop asking to help customers, it does not mean no eye contact with your consuming customers. Target leadership needs to educate their employees that providing exceptional customer service is very essential especially right now. Dont take your consumers for granted. I wonder how many other customers have had this experience at Target or any other store for that matter. This is the first for me during this COVID19 time. Most places, the customer service is the same or even more exceptional.

Everyone was so helpful in the store. I received an email regarding bedding sale and missed it was online only. I placed my order online while in the store and went to the food court to get my patient children a snack. Within 15 minutes my order was ready before they were finished with their snack. Very smooth transaction. Wish I would have got the name of the lady and man who helped with my questions back in the bedding area. Great customer service!

Store is alright, customer service is mediocre. But severely lacking inventory control. I know times are uncertain, and that stock is fluctuating daily, but its extremely frustrating to drive over an hour thinking they have products that they are out of, but online claims to have in stock, and no phone check is available. I would not have broken my shelter in place if I could have known they were JUST PLAIN OUT. Ive worked retail, inventory control isnt hard. It IS annoying but its how HARD. This is piss poor management

Look. I get you dont like your job much but its still your JOB! There are only 2 registers open and the lines are going in to the clothes department. Hang up your phone, and help ypur customers out. Your girlfriend can wait for you to call her back while you do your job. This is not the first time Ive had issues with this Target, but its definitely the last. If you are looking for great customer service, do not go here.

Don’t get me wrong I LOVE target. However as a boy mom I hate that they combined the baby sections. Boys and girls baby clothes in the same area. Every where I turn all I see is girl clothes now. I can’t just browse through all the boys clothes now it’s more of a hunt to find them. We all know girls sections have more so please give them back their own sections. I’ve completely stopped shopping for clothes for my youngest here.

We love the pharmacy here, the people who work there are amazing. The store is nice, its a nice size, lots of clothing, the frozen food is lacking. If you want a simple TV dinner for dinner dont go here unless you dont care what kind you get and dont need variety.

I looked for the product on line first before shopping. The website was very informative and helped me find what I needed when I shopped at the store.

Love target in general. But Everytime Ive been to the Layton store the dollar spot is horrid. Nothing is stocked, absolutely no organization. It looks like every mom dropped their child off to play in this area while they shop. Since moving north of SLC the targets up here are very limited as well.

Target was a great place to shop, but it seems like they are doing away with all name brands in favor of their own brand. Which would be fine but it is not always as good. They also are constantly moving things around. You find an item in one place then the next time you look for it you cant find it. Because they moved it.

Very helpful and friendly employees. Very well stocked. 9/10 I find what Im looking for. Its never crowded or full of carts, boxes and other stuff around blocking the aisles or employee restocking or re arranging stuff.

Target took such good care is me today during an exchange. The item was in no stores in the state but they were able to get me something better at a discount for all my trouble! Helpful employees, I mean really really helpful. A while back I bought a tie for an interview somewhere. I had just realized I did not know how to tie it. An employee helped me find another employee who knew how to tie it. That is well beyond great service. Thanks to all of you!!

Krystal the manager in the front end I think is what its called... was very rude and seemed a little snappy to the employees. I really have never had a great experience with her help.

Target is always a great alternative to other big box stores. A little more expensive than their biggest competitor, but a little higher quality. Not as much variety in the grocery section though.

Went in to target this morning to grab a couple things, noticed a sign that said 20% off if spent $75 or more. So I decided to grab much more. At the check out, after ringing up $133 I asked if that included the 20% off. I was told that doesnt start until tomorrow. I guess I missed the fine print on the sign, but 5 star service would give me the 20% today.
