Not impressed, the people are good, the services are not the greatest though with comecast. They outsource everything to India. I wont deal with that, and I dont deal with a country that wont stop scammers in their 5th district. So I will no longer talk to people that are not from Mexico or the United States.
Kaylee at the Layton location was amazing! I showed up 10 minutes before they closed (thanks traffic) and she saw me juggling my two year old and the equipment I was returning. She came outside and asked if she could help grab the return items for me. You don’t know how much I appreciate that. I hope Management sees this because she deserves recognition for going above and beyond!

Sad customer service dvr recording was poor at best. The customer service was so sad we canceled or service and the poor excuse for customer service rep just didnt care they have hard core policies. Its a good thing Ive decided not to enact my policies which would be to drag their equipment back behind my truck to their store my wife talked me out of it. My rabbit ears will half to do dont go with this company
This rating applies only to this specific visit on July 2, 2021. The employees made the visit so simple. I had to return an old router since I purchased a new one. The young lady had me taken care of and out the door in less than 45 seconds. I am not exaggerating. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. Thank you very much to that young lady. I wish I had caught her name.
Definitely make an appointment before you go for anything. I came to simply pick up some equipment and it took over a half hour.
Alec was a great help. Not only was my bill lowered but I got better equipment and faster internet. With a smile.

I think they should have a rent to own on their hardware. The rent for life idea is obviously a tool to make bank, but it also feels like their router modem combo is made for only basic use. Its all farts and expensive. But I still use them...
I was initially dreading having to go in to cancel my service and turn in my equipment (switching providers), but it turned out to be a very quick and straight-forward process. The were very professional and friendly! I was surprised, I went in expecting a long drawn out process from grumpy employees, but instead I got professional staff who were very good to me. That makes me way more willing to work with them in the future, and I recommend them to others.Im only leaving Comcast for another service thats giving me the same speed much cheaper; thankfully this interaction showed me Comcast is turning around their old reputation and becoming a good company to work with, and Ill remember that. Thank you!

Staff is very kind and open and welcoming they always really eager to help and if they see anybody standing there that hasnt been helped yet they feel obligated to apologize and make it right this is a good store and it feels good to people I believe.
I’d give 0 stars if I could. We’ve had xfinity WiFi at our house for maybe 5 months and it hasn’t worked for two of them. Constantly get the run around from their technicians as well. Awful company. Awful WiFi. Awful customer service. Your own hot spot would work better than this garbage company. Terrible.
A quick in and out for a new remote the lady that helped me was extremely friendly and nice and helpful and funny.....She told me my old remote went out with the pizza boxes so I bought some pizza boxes to see if it might be there... Lol

Friendly, clean store. Got what I wanted some quickly. Convenient parking, but it could get crowded.
Had many issues since February/March with them and even though it finally got resolved I don’t feel they deserve a higher review. I had to explain and repeat myself many many many times and I’ve worked in a call center before for phone when cable companies. But your reps do not pay attention or take notes on every call since I had to repeat myself over and over.
Very friendly and organized. I know its not something you would look forward to go to when you have issues but I found it quite pleasant and I walked out happy with all my issues taken care of. They also saved me about $100 a month by putting me on a different package.
Went to return some equipment and it was super easy
Clean and well spaced out. Plenty of people to help and they seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Got all our needs met with no problems afterwards.
If I could rate my recent experience with xfinity customer service in the negatives I would. After calling in to customer service and being a 10 year customer just trying to give them more business by transferring my mobile carrier service being transferred to 5 different representatives all telling me the things the other representative told me was wrong or incorrect. Spending over 4 hours on the phone and being charged out of my bank account 80.82 for a service they were unable to complete because they were unable to transfer all of my lines has left me beyond frustrated and upset. I will be canceling all of my services with xfinity.
They like to close a bit earlier then the slated time. The door says they close at 8pm. I went there at 7:55 and the metal gate blinds were down, the door locked, and lights out!

DUE TO THE POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I WILL USE CENTURY LINK WHICH IS FASTER AND CHEAPER IN THE 84054 ZIP CODE SO IF ANYONE WANTS INTERNET ONLY LOOK INTO DIFFERENT OPTIONS BECUASE XFINITY IS NOT THE ONLY OPTION PLUSTHEY DO A DATA CAP AT 1.2T WHICH IF YOU HAVE MULTIPLE PEOPLE USING AND DOWNLOADING YOU WILL HIT THAT CAP AND THEY WILL CHARGE YOU EVEN MORE.

Ive been going there for 3 years now and have for the most part always had a pleasant experience. The only thing that has dropped it down to 4 stars is the customer service. You either will have GREAT! Help or terrible help. Alec is who I would highly recommend to see, he knows what he is doing and is very friendly. Anytime Ive had an issue hes been able to fix it or give me good options, I never feel like he is trying to sell me something just to get commission. Phone and wifi service is great too.
Quickly returned all equipment and deactivated the account due to selling the house.
I have been having troubles with my account for months and kent fixed everything in a few minutes if you come here talk to kent he will get you covered.
Don’t sign up for xfinity mobile! I have been charged and refunded 3 months in a row for an account that was cancelled and never activated. Each time they promise it will never happen again and each month my account is magically re-activated. I had to call my bank to make sure they can’t charge me again. Internet is great, xfinity mobile is a joke.

Came to replace our old broken tv remote. They very quickly swapped it for a new one, no questions asked, then we were on our way.

I was actually very impressed. To comply with COVID19 they had me wait outside until it was time to speak with the next rep. I waited about 5 minutes and was invited in. The lady that helped me was fast and thorough and sharp as a tack. She got me my new equipment and then I got on my way. When I left I was in shock, was it really that easy? Well, this time it was.
They gave me the correct power source for a modem that was shipped to me without one.

They said they could provide internet service to my residence. They tech came out on the appointed day and determined no internet could be provided. Had to go through multiple channels to figure out what was going on. I had to switch providers and ended up being without internet going on 3 weeks.
Taking away comprehensive internet security and replacing it with only a firewall while keeping the cost of the internet the same is a dirty and dishonest business practice. I signed up and pay a higher cost for the provided Norton internet security. If the promised internet security is removed, the cost needs to be lowered to reflect the loss of virus protection and loss of malware and spyware protection, that will need to now be purchased separately. In addition to the loss of internet security, the reliability is about down to nothing, internet always down, slow, and unable to connect with no customer service available and no compensation for the internet not working or for the loss of internet protection. Having your customer service people hang up on customers is bad business.

Local store ihas you call the help line, because they dont have the ability to help. The Call an agent line and chat is frustrating and crashes. or they constantly lose connection. After a year of fighting network crashing issues, and having the line technicians ans supervisors to my house numerous times.To not ever fix the issues. Today i find out that i have been getting charged for unlimited data from sept to now....while the fee is being waived. But i guess not for me. their Chat with an agent always crashes, and their agents in india or wherever are rude and hard to understand. And i have finally had enough. i have had them since 2012, and they have finally pushed me away.
Im not sure where these unwarranted complaints are coming from. Comcast as a service may not be the best, but this location has been decent. Even limiting customers inside the store to less than a dozen, they keep people moving and getting taken care of. Staff are friendly and helpful during the process.

I switched to xfinity mobil had 2 lines and they charged me for gigs of the second line when the phone has been disabled for almost 5 months due to the apple store being closed we weren’t able to enable it and they charged me over 300$Also we have a security system with them and when we signed and when the tech installed it re-assure to take care of the equipment because was rental and now that I wanted to cancel they said that they need to charge me for 380 to buy the equipment because it wasn’t rental
We went in there today not knowing what to expect. There was this lady, Nancy, that helped us. She had the best customer service ever. Her attitude made us want to stay and her helpfulness was great. The only reason to go to this store is her. This woman deserves a raise for going above and beyond the standard.
Yesterday not so great. Today, Nancy, Quinton and another young man made everything great. A few issues and they took care of everything with a smile and extra help. Thanks guys.
I am so frustrated. Been with xfinity for 3 years with no issues. Moved away and moved back to only have problems. Asked them to come set up my internet which they did. Now that we have a computer for my son I had to go in and ask how to get the internet to it. I was told it would be $70.00 to have a tech come and put in a coax box. Then I was told when we had the tech the 1st time come out that we only asked for one box to be set up in the house and should have told them to do them all. Ummm, I asked for my internet set up, if I knew that I needed more than one box hooked up I would have asked for more. How am I to know. I dont work for an internet company. If you had good customer service you would say that one box does not cover the whole house unless the product is wi-fi and talk about what else will be needed. Instead you do the absolute most minimal service since we are internet challenged and now you get to charge us this huge fee to come back. As soon as my contract is up, I will change to Utopia.
The customer service person insisted I wear my mask a specific way. I have severe anxiety from being assaulted and having a hand held over my mouth to keep me quiet. I was doing all I could to comply. He asked me to place it on my face over my nose and mouth. I explained I had serious anxiety and he said I would have to step outside in the freezing cold I told him again I have a medical reason and he said I refused to listen when it was him that was not only not listening but clearly did not care. There are medical reasons that are excused. I have been treated so poorly that I would rather use any other company and will never use them in the future.
Customer service is really improving with Comcast. I bought my new phone 2 days before a promotion came out and they were glad to backdate it since I qualified under those terms. They even offered me higher internet speed for less since their speed and pricing plans had changed. A nice change for them.
Xfinity is horrible. Customer service has always been horrible. Service is also horrible, constantly going out and is very overpriced. Luckily for us Utopia is becoming more available to us, we recently made the switch and couldnt be happier. Were paying less for almost 10x the download speed and 50x the upload speed. Now, when we decide we want to cancel Xfinity, they make us wait on hold for more than an hour. What a joke, we shouldnt even have to talk to a real person to cancel. Never again will we go back to Xfinity.

Their customer service line is the absolute worst one I’ve had to deal with. It makes it really frustrating when you have work to do and the want to have an automated voice waste 20 minutes of your time. It’s almost like they don’t want to talk to you.
They have organised the store in very efficient system to provide safety and protection for the staff and customers. Equipment drop off can be handled curbside. Helpful staff.

Amazing service, had all the safety precautions for COVID, everyone was wearing a mask and social distancing. Kent was super nice and reviewed my plan confirmed our needs and made sure that we were satisfied.
Not impressed with there being organized. Have had to make sure my old account was closed and cancel new service 3-4 times.New service is to pricey.
They scheduled me for a time they werent even open. Had to call customer service to get resolution.
Nothing wrong with the employees or the store itself. With that said, this is by far the worst internet service I’ve ever had. I don’t and won’t ever recommend switching to these guys. You’re probably going to average higher speeds with your hotspot.
Even with social distancing and having to have everyone check in outside while waiting in line theyre taking care of everybody pretty quickly and you are not having to spend too much time outside in the heat.
I spoke with great and best phone for reasonable price and major upgrade to old phone I had. Good staff made sure customers in line did not wait too long for service.

My representative was super knowledge & extremely friendly. While the wait was projected to be long, the line went by rather quickly. He helped me out in picking which plan would best suit me & even told me of a rebate I wasnt aware of to save even more money.
I was lied to and promised that my house is serviceable. After calling them back and explaining to a rep that I was lied to repeatedly she agreed to send a tech out to pick up my equipment at no charge. At first she tried telling there would be a charge and if I didn’t pay it would go on my credit. She also said that tech would call and cancel my service for me. I asked the tech to be sure and he said he would do so.After a week of dealing with this and a dozen calls through their terrible bot customer support just to talk to somebody. I see today my bill will be due in a couple of weeks. No cancellation! I called and talked to costumer service again and the rep was very understanding and took note of the techs name that came out and the date and that he grabbed the equipment, since according to my profile history that tech visit was cancelled, an the rep said he send me an invoice for 0$ And that my account was cancelled. Just got an email that my cancellation is being processed an my bill still shows I owe 115$Comcast is legitimately one of the worst companies I’ve ever worked with! The story is much longer with a lot more details. But in my experience Comcast/xfinity will do anything they can to squeeze money out of you that they don’t deserve. They’ll really try heard you exhaust you.

I will never do xfinity again they do small charges that they say is only once and we came to this store to switch my account into my moms name cause me and my wife were moving out and didn’t want xfinty so we went there to get it switched we did and the guy said I was off the account I would not get charged and now I’m getting charged 250 dollars and I’m not even on the account xfinity is full of liars and cheats never go with them ever!

We sold our home, moved into a place where Xfinity was not available. So we returned the internet router to the store and were told there is an early termination fee for not completing the contract. I explained the contract was never revealed to us at time of sign up. The person working said they could do nothing. I left a comment on the Xfinity survey and the manager of the Layton Store called me asking how he could make it right. I explained again the situation and he told me he would look into making it right for me.He never did.I have now been turned over to a collections agency for a mere $75 because this manager did not do his job or fulfill his promise to me.I will cannot recommend Xfinity, especially this store in Layton, to anyone.

Absolute worst customer service Ive ever had. YOu either have to sit on the phone for an hour to talk to someone who doesnt know how to help or go to the store and then watch them as they cant figure out how to fix your problem. Cant wait to leave this service.

Meh, last time I went there they were very helpful.This instance There was no approximate wait time until I got helped. After 20 minutes I chose to leave, especially since their promotion seem to be a bait and switch type...When getting my wifes phone I liked my experience, but this time was different. I did not feel like everything was as straightforward as before. I feel like I am back to car salesman type shenanigans...I walked in ready to buy a phone. I left being thankful for my current carrier, republic wireless.
