My wife was overcharged from price that was postedWhen she asked the man behind the counter he saidWell that’s what it rang up for . She asked him to go check because the sign clearly had a different priceHe then checks and said yup your correctThen re rings it up said your all set.3 large bottles all glass let’s her leave without a bag .For the prices they sure could’ve afforded a bag I think .And maybe a little customer service.

Bought an Italian white wine at the store without thinking to look at the vintage. I opened it and tried it at home only to find that it is undrinkable. I could taste that it was too old. The shop should know when to pull old wine off the shelves. White wine normally lasts from 1 to 5 years. This was a 2014. I suppose it is my fault for not checking the vintage, but I mistakenly assumed the shop would care enough about its reputation to remove old wines from the shelves.

Lame selection, high prices, staff was not friendly.

My second bad experience here. You dont get a third chance. The first bad experience was buying a bad bottle of liquor and in order to return it a manager had to be present. I came back to the store at least three times to try to return it in the manager was never in. Too much of a hassle. Second bad experience was they charged me the wrong price. Higher by several dollars more than was listed on the Shelf. When I mentioned it to the clerk he said thats probably for the item next to it. I went and checked and I was right. Then he went and checked and he changed the price and said is that good? And I asked him if he had charged me the price that was on the Shelf? He said yeah. Then when the receipt printed he tried to crumble it up. I stuck my hand out for it. On the receipt the price was still higher than the price on the Shelf. When I told him he said nothing. So then I said you dont care do you? He still said nothing. So I walked out the store. Never going back.

Leander location #49. This was my first time here. I had to repeat my question about where something was located because the guy couldnt tear himself away from his phone. Found what I was looking for and saw something else I wanted to price compare to somewhere else. There was no price displayed so I asked the cashier (again with the phone). I dont know. That was all I got from him. Back to the phone. This was my last time here.

Friendly knowledge staff

Well maintained, helpful staff, great customer service, reasonable prices, and a perfect location.NOTE: There is a review bashing the business for its hours of operation. For anyone new to Texas or the legal drinking age, the state mandates the business hours for liquor stores. They are the same for all locations and retailers.

Everything would be fine, but they close too early for me to ever make it there. Regardless of the reason, closing at 9:00pm on a Friday is really stupid (for anyone). Not to mention, the times Ive been there after they open, they often look like they are not ready to serve anyone, why? I throw some big gatherings on Friday, and would give them huge business if they could add at least one hour to the time they are open. I estimate this has cost Twin Liquors about $10,000 in business that I know of (friends included).

Terrible beer selection and disinterested, borderline rude staff.The liquor and wine selection is good.Works in a pinch if you just need something domestic and cold and don’t want to wait in the insane HEB lines. If you can wait 10 minutes, just go next door.

I think the people that work there are the best. I have been going in to buy things for 2 years they talk to you nice and never give me an issue. I was in there today and spent about 5 minutes just having a great conversation with the manager. He has helped me in the past when they were not able to get my favorite item during the holidays. He suggested something that would be close. I have never had an issue with any of the workers. Maybe its because I am not being a jerk when I ask them questions. I think a lot of the issue might be with the attitude you have when you go in. If you are a jerk you will be treated like one.

The employee checking out the older gentlemen in front of us was extremely rude to the customer for no apparent reason. The older gentlemen was not obnoxious or anything - he was just asking about normal questions about liquor and had a hard time hearing, so he asked for the employee to repeat himself a couple times. The employee was anything but friendly and was obviously annoyed by the gentlemen. It was a shame.

I have had a mixed bag of experiences here. Some were terrible, some were meh, some were great! It really depends on the person thats working. Prices are a bit high on mixers compared to HEB next door so I just get the liquor I need that I cant buy at Costco.

Love the folks that work there. They are always very helpful and know their business ! Great deals, fast and courteous service, I dont shop anywhere else anymore.

Rude!! The kid working the register was extremely rude!! After reading the comments below and my experience just now being it was my first time it will also be my last!
