I stopped at 7-eleven store 707 in Leander on Sunday, December 16th and Monday December 17th and made a small purchase both nights. On December 18th I looked at my bank statement and noticed 2 recent charges from 7-eleven that were more than they should have been so I went by there later to question the employee, but it was another employee working that night. I explained to that employee why I was there, but he wasnt helpful. He had nothing to say about the situation, so on December 23rd I submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau about the matter. On Friday, January 11th, I received a phone call from a lady claiming that she had received a complaint from me through the BBB, but that she owned a different 7-eleven store, down the street from store 707. She said that she knew the owner of store 707 and that she would forward my name and number to the owner, if it was okay with me and I agreed. On Monday, January 21st I received an email from the BBB saying that they had made several attempts to contact the business regarding my complaint, but the company had not responded within the normal time frame and the complaint was being closed as Unanswered. I called the 7-eleven later that day and explained to the man on the phone, Mr. M, what had happened in December and asked what did I need to do to get it resolved. He said that he needed the date, time and products so that he could look it up. I gave him what he needed and later that day he called and said that hed found the Monday night transaction and that I had not been overcharged and then HE BEGAN YELLING AT ME over the phone saying that I was lying about being overcharged by his employee and that I had waited a month before contacting the store about the situation. He never mentioned the first transaction from Sunday night. I told him to find the first transaction and call me back. He never did. I had already explained to him on 1/21/2019_ 1)that I had attempted to talk to the employee who was working both nights, but he was off work when I went by on 12/18/2018._2)I explained what had happened to the employee that was there (on 12/18/2018). He wasnt rude, but he wasnt helpful either. 3)Thats when I decided to file a complaint with the BBB and I had been waiting for a response myself for almost a month. On Tuesday January 29th I received a phone call@1:45pm from a lady from 7-eleven Customer Relations ( I listened to the voicemail after I got off work) saying that they had received my complaint and that I should be expecting a phone call from the owner of store 707 soon. On Wednesday January 30, 2019 I received that phone call@10:27am. The call went to voicemail and was from a lady who identified herself by her first name only and left me 2 numbers to contact her. I chose not to answer/return her call because of the way I had been talked to by Mr. M on 1/21/2019. I received an email from the BBB on 1/30/2019@07:11am that said, The customer has been contacted case is now considered closed. As far as I am concerned, there is no reason for me to be a customer at this 7-eleven location or any other 7-eleven location ever again.
