I picked up 3 pallets of sod and my wife and I laid them out. Bermuda was excellent quality and has established very quickly. Very nice people and the owner was great to deal with. They also sell hay Incase you need some.

They had the sod I needed when many other places were out. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. She answered all of my questions regarding how to care for the sod and ensure it survives. Great customer service!

Although you should call ahead just to make sure they have what you need, this place has been great for my needs. They even load the grass for you!

Easy to order. Nice prompt delivery. But the quality of the grass is pretty awful. Brown except around the edges, half the squares fell apart, already had fungus forming, had weeds, and a few completely dead squares. Im watering like crazy and FINALLY starting to get some green patches. I chose this place because it was one of the least expensive, but now I know why. Glad I saved money, but not sure it was worth it.

I worked with Bill to get a complete re-sod of a front and backyard of a property I own but dont live in in the area. He walked the property, sent me a fair quote that was detailed and coordinated the work all in a short time frame. My tenant sent pictures of the work and the yard looks great! The Grass Patch (GP) was subcontracted by our builder (Sterling Custom Homes, whose behavior and process was abysmal) to complete our landscaping, irrigation, etc. While new construction isn’t perfect, the GP was professional and responsive and stood behind their work. In addition, they were willing to work with us to address a couple issues caused by Sterling (for which Sterling wouldn’t accept any responsibility). Bryan Hensley and Dean Morin are great guys.

** Receive Damaged & Poor quality, broken in pieces of Palisades Zoysia Grass ** w/ updated status...*** updated..I visited this place this morning 3/11/2030 to return the empty pallets w/ $3usd return for each return pallet. I went to the front office and want to talk to the management about the bad quality grass that I received from the 5 pallets. I was able to chat w/ Scott and immediately he recognized the issue that he also has with other buyers. Scott was able to compensate me some replacement grass. Because of the good deed, I ordered 3 more pallets on the spot.Frankly, Scott was a nice young man that has tons of great personalities. I was happy to see the PZ grass on pallets there were nice and most green. I was told that I will get excellent quality PZ grass thru the family farm in Texas that cut one day before it delivered.So, I decided to call and ordered on 3/2/2020 & was delivered on Friday 3/6/2020 with the total amount of $1335.65 (5 pallets of Palisades Zoysia grass + delivery fee + tax + pallets fee)I loved to support my Austin local business. But my delivered 5 pallets of PZ has about 23% ratio damaged broken pieces + thin + big holes. I feel like these PZ palletsI finished lay all the sods over the weekend and want to call the Grass Patch and see if anything can be done by the owner.I called and requested to speak to the owner. But the lady named Bonnie did not sounded to honor my requested. She told me to emailed pic the damaged to Scott / the Manager and he will get back to me on the next day (which is Tuesday). Tuesday just went by and I still not hear from the grass patch management team.I will keep my viewers posting after (if) I will lucky to hear and resolve my issues.I decided to move up a star (from 3s - 4s) for now until new grass delivery with great results

Outstanding quality grass. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to make a second trip when the first pallet was 50 sq ft short but Grass Patch made good on the error and replaced the shortage plus 20 extra pieces for the inconvenience.

Very rude guy who answers the phone and wasted more time telling me they were busy and he had 4 other calls in line just like me when I asked if he had any photos of their current St. Augustine sod. All he had to say was no and not spend more time being frustrated and telling me how busy they are. We in the landscape business are all busy at this time of the year, but we dont need to be rude about it when talking to our customers.

The absolute worst company. Wouldnt return emails. Takes days to return phone calls. After more than a week I just gave up on ever having anyone come by to give an estimate. You should t have to beg a company to give them $10,000. Worthless.

Grasspatch resoded our front yard a few years back. So we went back to them for our backyard. They did a great job and finished everything in just one afternoon. They transformed our backyard from a place we avoided to a place we are proud of.

We were extremely happy with The Grass Patch - we ordered sod during the hottest week of the year. The delivery cost was the most reasonable in Austin and they will do half pallets. Our grass showed up early and looking great! I would highly recommend anyone looking for fresh sod and reasonable prices.

Cost were phenomenal compared to other places. Fast quick and clean on all four pallets of sod. Pallet return was faster then I thought possible. I will return every time or even more supplies from them. Excellent work

On a recent Monday I ordered a pallet of FJ Select St. Augustine to be delivered on that Thursday. On Wednesday they called me to say they couldnt get the FJ Select. I asked to get the Raleigh St. Augustine instead, but even though I had an order in place for Thursday, they couldnt get me the Raleigh grass until the following Monday. They said they were so busy they couldnt get the grass in from their supplier fast enough. The grass was delivered on Monday as promised, but I was disappointed to find it surprisingly dried out, as if it had already been sitting on the pallet for quite some time.

I initially ordered 2 palates of FJ Select St. Augustine and on the delivery day, I was able to add an additional palate of sod. Didnt think that would be possible with such a last minute request.....but was able to!The delivery was prompt! The driver called when he was on his way. The sod was in good condition when delivered. We spent the rest of the day laying the sod, watered it in, and kept it watered for 2 weeks.....and it is BEAUTIFUL!!! Dark green and lush!!! Out of 3 palates of sod, only 1 square didnt survive. My wife and I are VERY pleased with the customer service, delivery, and the sod itself!The pictures are of the sod after it was first placed down.....then 2 weeks later after the first mowing.

The guys in the office make you feel like you are part of the team, they are just funny. You will leave there laughing. However, I didnt really care for the grass we bought from them, it was dry and didnt look like its been watered in days, but it was able to catch. Just not the quality I was personally looking for.

Didnt check reviews before purchase and would have been concerned had i looked.Was very pleased with my order. Maybe 6 bad pieces out of a pallet... my experience from the phone order to a timely delivery.

I was delivered very dry and dead sod. Out of 5 pallets, I had to throw away approximately. We couldn’t begin to lay a lot of it because it simply fell apart. This happened on Friday and they’re closed this weekend. I’m anxious to see how they handle the situation. I can guarantee the owner would not have had this laid in his own yard. Very poor quality.

Guys are helpful and know there stuff

We recently moved to this area and needed our backyard to be leveled, as well as rich soil and sod installed. Charles Reynolds, the landscape designer, came out to our remote location and did a thorough check of what needed to be done. Wed discussed irrigation for the area as well. Charles followed up very quickly with an estimate on all and we were very pleased with the cost estimate. A couple of days before the installation was scheduled, he called us explaining a weather delay and gave us a new installation date. That day the installers were at our property by 8:00am and started working immediately. We were told at that time that there was an issue with installing the irrigation box in the garage at the agreed upon location, however, was given an alternative box location that was fine. Not only did they come up with a new location that was satisfactory, but did not charge us extra even though it involved additional trenching and PVC pipe. The sod, irrigation system, etc., was installed fast, efficiently and professionally. It looks awesome ! Charles called us at the end of that day and made arrangements to return the next hay to make sure everything was working properly. I would recommend The Grass Patch to everyone . The reviews I had seen before contracting with them, and were really all I had to go on as far as recommendations, turned out to be exactly what Id hoped for. Excellent company, excellent designer, excellent installers. You will not be disappointed !

Were hosting a gathering on Saturday and needed grass to cover a sandy area that once had pave stones. I called The Grass Patch to check availability and pricing. The lady who answered was very knowledgeable and helped answer my questions. About an hour or two later, I called back and placed an order. Not only was the process smooth, the helper who loaded the grass in the truck was awesome, and we got our grass the same day! We appreciate the service we received and will definitely recommend The Grass Patch.

Very impressed with these guys. I had a pallet of grass delivered on a Thursday and thought it didnt look so good but decided to put it out and see if it looked better after being down and watered every day. By Sunday it was looking worse and I talked to Scott on Monday. The only pictures I had were how it looked then, not when I put it down, so I had no proof that I was not at fault for the grass looking bad. After checking to make sure I had put it down right away and had been watering, he said he would send out a replacement pallet. That is what a good company does. Listens to the customer and takes care of them. I highly recommend this company.

We would highly recommend The Grass Patch. We needed sod, landscaping and irrigation. Charles did a great job of designing and managing the process. The installers were professional and worked so hard to make everything look just right. The result is a beautiful transformation of our property.

No service after installation. My husband and I have called 7 times and have never gotten a return call. Many plants died. Irrigation insufficient except for lawn. I paid around 12K for our small backyard and have thought about a lawsuit. Dont waste your money on this company.

Purchased grass when I could get the job done last spring but it took 4 weeks before they could get the sod due to rain. I dont blame them for this but I wonder what impact this had on grass quality. Got the grass and laid it down and every blade of it died. Contacted them through their online contact form and asked them to help me figure out what went wrong (i live one mile from their location) and never got a response. I then called and left a message with the lady who answered. She said I would hear from someone but I never did. I guess a residential yard isnt enough money to get customer service also.

Horrible service and charged for services not rendered. If it rains you will NOT get your lawn cut until the next week, and that is only if you call them. They will try to charge you for services they never performed and will NOT return your emails when you question their services. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! There are plenty to choose from. I used them for 2 years (as a landlord) and realized they charge you a full month regardless of what they did. We are securing council for the return of services not rendered. Will post back with results. In the mean time, please do NOT use this company. VERY SHADY. Check their reviews on YELP. this is not the company you want to trust. I live in Leander TX

I had my yard redone by The Grass Patch with Palisades Zoysia (about 2700 square feet). I have been working with Charles Reynolds who has been great. The actual installation had some minor problems as the sprinklers were not adequately adjusted to ensure complete water coverage after raising the yard level by 2 inches (additional top soil) which resulted in some small areas dying out. When I discussed the problem areas with Charles he reacted immediately and inspected the yard and had the sprinkler repairs and some sod replacement scheduled. Wouldnt have been a 5 star review, but working with Charles and the follow-up provided to deal with any concerns made up for any problems encountered. Communication with Charles and the office was always professional and prompt. The actual installation of the sod was very well coordinated and completed in one day. The sod has grown well and looks great. I would not hesitate to recommend The Grass Patch based on my experience and the follow-up provided.

Have ordered Bermuda Tiff grass from The Grass Patch several times. They are always offering to help and answer questions. I have moved to Bee Cave now, but will continue to use them as my grass place.

Ordered 6 pallets of St. Augustine (Raleigh) over the weekend. I couldnt have been more pleased with the the up front service (Cary, Scott, etc) and delivery process. The product is exceptional and my backyard has been transformed.

Tried to order a small amount of did. Impossible to do. Most negative person I have talked to him a long time. Business must be booming, do not want mine. I offered to pay ahead of time.

The price was was really good, the staff was nice and helpful but you get what you pay for. The one pallet of Bermuda grass we ordered was dried out and crumbled every piece broke when we tried to lay out the sod. I also pulled over 60 sizable weeds/ crabgrass from just one pallet. We used another company to finish the rest of our backyard you can tell the difference one grass is yellow and dried out, the other is healthy and really green.

I cannot stress enough how terrible this company is. We started residential lawn maintenance service with this company in the Summer of 2017 when my husband was deployed. They came out to our house and we talked about getting full service, including weed pulling, mulching the flower beds, fertilizing, etc, and were quoted at $60/month. We thought this was very reasonable at first, and then found out they meant $60 every 2 weeks, so itd be $120-$180/month. We agreed to continue anyway because they were doing a good job.By March of this year, we started having serious issues with our service. Rather than maintaining our flower beds and all of the other services we had contracted them for, they were just mowing, edging, and leaving. And they were doing a really bad job at that - often leaving large patches of grass unmowed. They also often failed to show up when scheduled and would come on a different day of the week or sometimes not until up to 3 weeks after they were scheduled. My biggest problem with this is that they were still billing us for the days they were scheduled, not the days theyd actually come out.We were fed up with the constant phone calls and called them in May to ask that they change our rate to $40/service to reflect the fact that we werent receiving the services that we were paying for, and they agreed to this over the phone, but apparently forgot to write it down or change our billing.By July, we called asking for a refund for the amount we had been overcharged for May and June. They agreed to this. We were ready to cancel service, but remained customers because we wanted to make sure we got the refund they owed us. They continued to overcharge us for service and charge us for days they were never even here. In August, we finally called to cancel our service and ask for the refund. Again, they agreed to this but apparently forgot to write it down.They came out again for service in August after we cancelled. When we realized this and called them about us, they assured us that they wouldnt charge us for their mistake. They attempted to come out again 2 weeks later and we had to ask the workers to leave. Again we called to remind them that we had cancelled service and were still waiting on a refund.In September, we received 2 bills covered in highlighting and handwriting in all caps stating PAST DUE!! for the months of July and August. Not only were they still attempting to charge us $60/service, but they listed dates that looked very suspicious, some less than a week apart. We double checked our security footage and, sure enough, the dates were made up! They showed a refund amount of $30, which is far less than we are owed. To make matters even stranger, they pulled our property tax record from the county website and printed this out with our bill, with our names and addresses highlighted at the top.In summary, bad lawn service, bad record keeping, bad customer service, fraudulent billing practices, and childish highlighting. I would never, ever allow my friends or family to use this company and their terrible business practices.

This company doesnt back up its work. We had a well dug by Central Texas Drilling 9 months ago and they were the irrigation company on the job. I believe the RPZ unit they installed is defective or wasnt installed properly. After calling multiple times and finally getting a service call, they send the guy out who installed it. He finds some sort of debris in it and thinks that may be the issue. Then he assures me that it isnt working due to the freeze but that the unit itself seems defective. Not only was the entire set-up insulated but it was also covered. I told him not to do anything or take anything apart until its determined whether or not I have to pay for it. I got on the phone with April from Grass Patch. She called the company where they get their parts from and they said it probably froze within the unit somehow. Hmmm.....the unit that was insulated? They need to send competent people out to service the work they installed. They guy who tells me all this is the same guy who did the install. I told them Im not paying for something they should be responsible for. Be sure if you do business with this company that you understand your warranty. I will now have a competent professional re-install this unit. Centex Drilling is no better since they seem to contract this company for their irrigation issues. Between having to have the well drilled twice by Centex, the irrigation issues, and paying $29,000....were the ones being hosed.
