Just started beginner piano classes at Leander music school! Staff is great and lots of different options to choose from. Also you can do online or in person. I wanted my daughter (age 8) to enjoy piano and want to learn and I think her teacher does that! We’ve only gone for a few months so not sure the progress quite yet but it looks promising!

Love this place! My kids have studied music here for years; voice, piano and currently drums. The Instructors and staff are always professional and courteous. The lessons are fun and challenging. The recitals build great memories and community.

My son really enjoys his piano classes. Paris, his teacher is amazing and in a short time he has learned how to read music. I highly recommend Leander Music School.

My instructor was very professional and classy. I was comfortable working with her and she was very patient with me and has great talents. The entire staff was helpful.

I personally really like this music school because every teacher I have had are bright and so kind they dont make you feel bad for messing up something you didnt understand I have only been doing this for about 2 months and is so good that Im composing my own music now I highly recommend coming to this place for learning music

Unfortunately, its too far from my house.We have to terminate the enrollment.Im glad we had the opportunities to study with HitMaker. I truly love the teaching philosophy and how it focus on a childs development towards the love for music.It moved me very much when seeing how some students with disadvantages in certain areas are treated equally and given the opportunities to express their love for music. I could see the happiness in their eyes.Shut out to Mr. Harold. I give Mr. Harold 5 starts. My son (8yr) recently join the group and learning Piano with Mr. Harold. We really like him. He is very patient, soft spoken, push the student to do the best without being pushy. Very encouraging and accommodating. I like how he customizes the teaching approach based on the students personality and interest.

So kind of a long story on my review, I have been involved with music for a long time (started taking lessons in early elementary) from the now owner of Hit Maker Music School. I have a lot of fond memories from learning simple paradiddles and reading drum sheet music to playing recitals for songs like Don’t Fear the Reaper, Good Times Bad Times, and Message in a Bottle. I have recently started coming back for lessons again to become more proficient at bass guitar and learn my scales properly, the teachers here all know what theyre doing and are very helpful and kind. The work staff is on top of the ball about getting you the information you need and are very helpful. I really can’t say enough nice things about Hit Maker!

HitMaker school is persistent and passionate about their program. We signed up before the pandemic and they were we quick to provide easy online lessons. My son is really enjoying his piano lessons and learning a lot.

I took voice lessons with HitMaker about 2 years ago! Mike and his team were always so supportive and encouraging! Unfortunately, i had to take a little break due to life circumstances. However, because of they’re welcoming environment and wonderful team, I’m now back at HitMaker taking Piano and Music Theory lessons!

I really enjoyed my piano lessons with Mike at HitMaker Music School! It had been nearly 30 years since I played piano on a regular basis and I wanted to refresh my skills but also understand music better. Mike spent time helping me understand how songs are put together which I found fascinating! I now understand how musicians can sit down and jam with each other and songs come together!I also felt that the cost for the lessons was very reasonable. Mike was also very accommodating with scheduling the lessons.

We have been coming here for about 6 months. This is a professionally run business. Communication, scheduling, and billing are all easy. The two teachers we are using are expanding and developing my children who used to be getting bored. These are degreed musicians who love passing on their considerable skills. We are looking forward to trying out their bands this fall!

We initially contacted Mike w/ HitMaker Music School when my daughter was looking to audition for a summer play. Mike began working with my daughter immediately helping her discover her voice range and key songs for her audition. After two months of lessons, my daughter ended up loving the lessons so much she decided not to audition for the play after all and continue to take voice lessons throughout the summer and sing in one of the summer concert serious the school put on. It was the most AMAZING thing to see my daughter blossom on stage and sing the PERFECT song for her! This experience boosted her confidence and was a magical moment for our friends and family who came to watch her musical debut. If you are interested in voice or music lessons of any kind call Mike! Youll be happy you did!

Mike Irene is the real deal. Excellent teacher, musician and performer, with the credentials to back it up. This is what Mike loves, and its reflected in his students. He really instills a sense of creativity, exploration and joy into his students when it comes to music. He has frequent recitals, so students have a chance to showcase their talents and progress to family and friends. Most students are 18 and under, but very highly recommended to all ages and skill levels.

Best experience! Excellent school. Teaching is tailored to the child and my boys have come so far already. Love the new studio space near the high school - very convenient. Highly recommend!

I have been taking drum lessons here for about a month now with Mike Irene. He teaches students of all ages.He is a fantastic teacher! I have a lot of fun while I am there. Mike is very patient and very encouraging even though I am definitely one of his slower students. I have noticed big improvements in my rhythm and hand strength since starting lessons with Mikey.The studio is nice and always clean. Mike is a very nice and just overall great guy. He has been great at keeping me engaged and getting better!I would give this place ten stars if I could.Thank you Mikey!

My nine year old sings beautifully but we had never signed her up for any lessons as she is shy. She’s had been taking classes for about a month now and she beams when she show what she learns. Teachers are patient and caring and accommodating as well....Can’t be happier with our choice.

HitMaker has been a remarkable place for our son to learn and grow musically. The instructors are patient, extremely knowledgeable, and as my son puts it so cool! About every month, there is an opportunity for kiddos to preform outdoors, under a large oak tree, and it is always an amazing time. We are so happy we contacted Mike and go him enrolled!

HitMaker Music School is awesome! The instructors have extensive formal training in music. My son truly enjoys going to his bass lessons. His teacher Zac is open and accommodating to what my son wants to learn which makes learning fun. I definitely recommend HitMaker Music School.

Two of my children did voice and piano lessons for several months with Mike. Each lesson was tailored to their skillset. They were pushed at a reasonable rate, progressed well and gained a lot of experience during their lessons. We especially loved the collaborative concerts they host. Hit Maker has a small town feel and teachers who care about the kids.

I love my music lessons! HitMaker has some of the best music teachers around! They also organize great recitals, and special band projects so students can get the feel of playing in a real band.

Weve been really pleased with HitMaker. The teachers are great! My son was frustrated at first but when we explained the problem, the teacher was flexible and catered the lesson to help him understand. Now he has a long list of instruments he wants to learn. :)

Our teacher, Mr. Harold, is absolutely wonderful and so patient with both of my sons. The new location is beautiful. Due to covid weve been having our classes via zoom since last spring. Daughter really enjoyed her experience and thought she had a wonderful instructor. We regret we cant maintain classes during the school year due to her academic schedule, but look forward to resuming in the summer if available.

The instructors always walk out of the classes with the kids, talk with the parents, and provide encouraging advice. Mike and Paul at HitMaker Music assured me that I could and they are absolutely correct. With less than a year of lessons I am playing riffs and songs that I thought would take at least 5 years to learn and I am understanding the theory behind it.I talk with some of the parents of the kids that come in and everyone is always positive about their experience at HitMaker Music. They are courteous, accommodating, and their lessons lead to positive results. I always leave with a big smile on my face and can’t wait to get home to practice what I learned.
