Great family experience. You must try a fresh warm lemon donut or Bacon In The Sun. YUMMY!! Or make your own. The key is to try it fresh and warm. Yes, the experience is better when its not so crowded. But despite that the quality of the donuts is consistent. And the staff is nice. They are still trying to get their rhythm... But that is to be expected as a new establishment. Go with a open mind and enjoy.

We visited on the morning of their second day of business. Needless to say the line was out the door. At first the concept was confusing - fresh, custom-made donuts? How can they pull that off? How do we order?There wasnt any real explanation of how the place worked because all the staff was working like crazy on fulfilling orders. Someone eventually passed us an order form and we worked it out for ourselves. I dont think this would have been an issue if the line wasnt out the door.We really enjoyed watching the donut assembly line. You could tell it was the second day and some of the employees were still finding their groove, but our donuts were fresh and still warm when we got home. Everything was fantastic. My personal favorite was the maple bacon - with REAL bacon on it!The staff was super-friendly even though they were swamped. You dont always get a good experience when the place is packed! I hope they follow the same kind of staff training model that Chic-Fil-A does. Excellent staff will keep me coming back for a LONG time.This is a fantastic addition to our neighborhood. Its our jobs to keep this place open! Come back often!

I worked at a Duck Donuts in Cary, N.C. so when my daughter (who works in Overland Park) text me yesterday saying her boss brought in Duck Donuts I was ecstatic!! These are truly the best donuts in the whole world and the experience is like no other. You watch them make your hot and fresh donuts and then watch as the topper ( best job ever!) adds your choice of a zillion different options!! Great for an office meeting, treat, family outing, kids sporting events, even weddings!! Love this place- a definite must try!!!

This was my first visit to Duck Donuts. I love donuts, but I reckon Im traditional. The first one I ordered was standard chocolate with chocolate topping. My friends showed and said I had to grow my tastes! I tried what had previously been unimaginable to me; maple with bacon and caramel. It was awesome!Nice environment for a weekday afternoon team meeting. They had coffee on the menu, juice and such by the bottle in fridge, and free cold water on the counter. It was very clean and the young men working there were super polite.

This place is so awesome. You will not regret a single visit. The managers are so nice and so helpful. I HIGHLY recommend.

Wanted to like this place but it fell short on taste and the long wait time for 1 donut!The donut is a bit doughy and heavy and the toppings are really the only thing that saves it.I waited over 20 mins for 1 donut and to be honest I cant say it was worth it.

I dont have many words because Im currently too busy STUFFING your donuts into my mouth. If you combine love and the feel goods into a blender, the outcome would be ducks donuts. This place is really awesome and Im glad I was able to visit. They have loads of doughnuts you can choose from or you can be creative and try your own. They have different toppings to choose from and they doughnuts are made fresh before your eyes. If you havent tried them you should, one of the best doughnuts I have ever eaten period.

Fun and reasonable! One of the best donuts Ive had, go for the maple with bacon. It was warm and not too sweet, simply amazing. We dont live particularly close but we will make the trip again for sure.

Great new addition to the growing donut scene in the Kansas City metro. Made to order, cake donuts come out hot with a ton of topping choices and are large enough to fill you up after one or two. Don’t be scared if you see a long line, they moved us through relatively fast and it was the first week they were open! Highly recommend Duck Donuts!

Quite possibly the best donuts in the KC area. Made fresh while you wait, decorated right then and there too. The donuts are warm, delicious, not too sweet, and sometimes have a little fried crispy bit on the bottom. They also have a rotating menu which mixes it up and keeps us coming back to try the new flavors.

Didnt have any expectations, but after the first bite, everything changed. These donuts are in a class of their own and Ive never tasted anything like it. Eating them in the store warm really punctuated the quality of these donuts. It felt like we were eating an expensive dessert at a 3-4 star restaurant after a nice meal.The donuts are definitely worth a 5 star rating. The place wasnt filthy by any means, but the tables could have been picked up a bit. Otherwise, I would have given a 5 star rating.

They sell arguably the best donuts in Kansas City area. Scrumptious Donuts freshly made to order is all you want. I have been here few times now and this place has never disappointed me. Just love the variety of options and toppings they offer. The place is clean and the donuts are reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and attentive.

I walked in and was like where are all the donuts at? They were like we make em fresh. I was like dope AF give me a dozen. They plopped em in the dryers and made them right in front of me. They say I can customize to my liking. I say I cant handle that type of power just give me the standard. I say I like duck donuts and my coworkers agree.

Since my 1st trip here a couple weekends ago I have brought 4 people in to try this. I can’t stress enough this is the BEST donut you’ll ever have. The preset options are plentiful so you don’t have to stress about trying to make your own combination, but of course that is an option. First go around I recommend doing a plain donut to really give it a shot. Or honestly just buying a dozen or half dozen to try a few different donuts. My favorites are the French toast and strawberry shortcake.

By far the best donut place around. They make each donut fresh and the topping choice is massive. You dont have to show up at 0600 to get a hot donut. Every donut Ive had since having Duck Donuts has been a complete disappointment. Duck Donuts will ruin every other donut.

I was at Duck Donut this morning, and it wasnt what I was looking for. I was looking for an old school donut shop with raised and cake donuts.This place was fantastic. I was the only one in there when I came in, and we had a fun time teasing each other.They serve vanilla cake donuts cooked to order and topped with the toppings of your choice.I got 3 blueberry, and 3 strawberry and they were fantastic. Ill be going back for sure.
