Excellent service by team at Russell Heating and Air. Spoke with Abbey in the morning and Jake was available to look at my AC by 1pm. Jake was able to quickly diagnose the issue and replaced the failed part and had the AC working within 30 minutes time. This team was friendly, professional, and quite efficient. I will definitely use Russel Heating and Air again.

Guys who replaced faucet were fine but the bill was very high...over $200/hour.

I will never go back to this company. They let me and my 11 month son freeze when our heater wasn’t working and didn’t even have the curtesy to call me. I called at 8:30 and spoke to a woman who asked if it was an emergency and I said yes it’s very cold in my house especially with my young son. She took my info and said a worker would call me when he was on his way. He would be there soon because it was an emergency. I waited 2.5 hrs before calling the number back and a different lady said they actually doesn’t have any time to come today and she was getting around to calling me to tell me. I waited 2.5 hrs in the freezing cold for her to tell me they changed their mind. Now I have to call someone else and wait longer in my freezing cold house with my son. This is insane. Who leaves a mother and son out in the cold and doesn’t even bother to call you back so u can change plans? This is so wrong.

Im thankful for Derek for allowing me to make 2 payments on my repairs. But now because of the lack of keeping proper paperwork Im being charged for a 3rd payment that I already paid. I do have all of my receipts to prove that it was paid.

I’m so impressed with the two gentlemen that were just out here! Not only were they speedy to arrive, they were friendly and personable! I feel confident they got the job done right! It’s hard to find quality service companies and this is definitely a high quality company! Thank you!!

I have been using Jim Russell Plumbing for my plumbing, heating and air conditioning since I moved to Indiana in 2000. You pay fair market prices for their services but you receive above average workmanship. Every assignment they have ever done for me (water heater, air conditioner, garbage disposal, backup sump pump, plumbing repair, etc.) has been a top quality job. I highly recommend this company.

To be fair I have to say the work that was done was fine. The problem with this company is you cant get an itemized invoice and customer service is lacking. Youre told, Sorry I cant do that. My question is, Why? Our bill ended up being $578 for 2 1/2 hours of work. When pushed we were told that it was an $80 service call, $100 an hour, and $135 in materials. In one email from Jim Russells employee, it stated the bill covered service call, labor, materials, taxes, and etc.... I then inquired what the and etc. was, and this is what I got: The and etc includes things like overhead, travel time, gas, liability insurance, and profit. Dont those things fall into the service charge and hourly rate? Then to refuse to give us an itemized invoice seems like poor business practice. Ive never heard of such a thing! Buyer beware! We feel that we over paid by at least $100 for a simple washer connect/disconnect fix. It was a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon, so its not like we called after hours either. Check went into the mail today after trying to get this accomplished since the beginning of February. No choice. We were moving and in a pinch. Maybe thats why we were pinched.

I had never used Jim Russell Plumbing until recently I had a sewage problem going on in the basement. I felt bad for bothering one of the employees at home on a weekend but I wanted some questions answered before I committed. She reached out to one of their guys and got back with me right away to answer my questions and they worked me into the schedule for Monday. Got home from work and thank goodness they had been there and taken care of my problem!! The office followed up with me to make sure everything was working and that I was satisfied. Reasonable rates as well!! I feel very confident I will use them as future needs arise.

Jim Russell plumbing was great. They saved me almost $1,000 compared to Mr. Plumber. Same work, same warranty, professional staff and high quality. If you live in the Zionsville area there is no better plumbing company to call. I will use them every time.

We had a waterproofing company out doing some work and they hit a water line. I called Jim Russell Plumbing and they came out same day and fixed the problem! Very happy!

HORRIBLE!!! I have never in my life written a bad review for a company, but I feel compelled. They charged me twice for a trip charge even though they couldnt diagnose the problem and never fixed anything. Terrible customer service. Derek, the owner would not return a phone call, and Christine, the scheduler, is very rude and unprofessional. Look elsewhere...Jim Russell Plumbing has TERRIBLE customer service.

They quoted $80/hr and then charged $180 for 45 minutes of work. They did fix the plumbing issue though.

$60 fee plus $100 an hour just to come out and look at a system...forget that! If its already $100 an hour whats the service call fee for? They may or may not do great work, but I guess Im not going to find out.
