The entire experience was absolutely amazing. The pricing was great. They dont want to charge you by the minute, but instead by the visit! I didnt only have a one on one with an employee for over an hour on literally every question I had imagined, but I also wasnt scalped for shop hours. The garage itself....with cars being disassembled..... with the garage doors open....was spotless. Complete reassurance for anyone that needs major engine work and is worried about debris entering areas it shouldnt be. I own an audi s3 which has its engine and transmission tuned by apt (apr tunes) and I have absolutely zero complaints. Beyond professional, knowledgeable, and one hell of a shop.

Had my MK7 GTI in to APT on Saturday (8/8/20) to have VWR Sport Springs and spacers installed, plus a 4-wheel alignment and an oil change. I couldnt be happier. The guys at APT got my car in at 9 AM and they were done by 12:30 or so, in less time than originally quoted. Quality work all around. Everything seems nice and tight. Had a 40 minute drive back to Harrisburg and I was surprised because, despite the mild lowering (20-30 mm), the ride is actually smoother and quieter. Hard to believe, but Im EXTREMELY happy. I would gladly go back to APT -- and I HIGHLY recommend them -- its just a tough trip to make for small things like oil changes. Still...Im still considering it. For any mods that I cant do myself (spacers not withstanding) in my drive way...Im going to APT.

These guys do excellent work at a reasonable price. Last year they installed an APR Stage 2+ tune on my S7 through a dealership (who got 10%). Car is wicked fast (11.011 at Maple Grove) and still reliable. I cut out the middleman this time around and took it to APT for new brakes tires, tuneup, basic service and inspection. Checking the invoices they saved me more than 30% on dealership pricing and did a great job in a timely manner. Save money and headaches, ditch the dealer and go to APT.

I needed to get my archaic Apexi VAFCII controller set on my 01 Acura Integra. Even though the shop doesnt specialize in Honda vehicles, I found their services to be preferable to other shops in the area in terms of value as well as the logical approach taken by the staff.The technician was respectful and went the extra mile to help me with my old daily-driver setup during the Dyno runs. Very professional and no-nonsense. I could tell these guys have experience because the technician clearly knew about these old 90s-00s setups but mentioned he hasnt seen one in several years. That being said, he treated me with the utmost respect and help. I went there just for a baseline run but ended up picking up a few extra horsepower as a bonus. Also, had a nice and clean working environment (which I find important). Would definitely recommend them to a friend.

Called in for an alignment and a tune for my Mk5 Rabbit, they got me in right away. When I got there and wasnt 100% what tunes did what, the receptionist didnt scoff or give me the are you kidding look, and allowed me to explain what I ideally would like done for my car. I also said what my budget was and he said they would be well under it. All in all I was in the lobby for about an hour and a half for an alignment and a tune which wasnt bad at all. I was then given a small list of things they found wrong that can be fixed which I appreciated as I didnt know about a few things. And my bill was about $300 under my budget which was awesome. On the way home I tested out my software update and tune and my car was making some new pop pop bang bang noises which had me grinning ear to ear the whole drive home. I really appreciated what these guys did for my car, and didnt kill me for it. I will 10000% be back for suspension stuff next, and more engine upgrades that were talked about. These guys are awesome.

I was about to rate liked it, but after I spent a few thousand in upgrades and had a major noise issue with my suspension, they handled it immediately for me and found a problem that had nothing to do with their work or parts, but actually the manufacture and fixed it for free. This is easily the best place to take your European performance (and even non-performance) cars in Pennsylvania. Ryan is awesome, and talks through everything that has been or is being done to your vehicle, and he doesn’t try to force you to buy expensive parts you don’t need. Super reasonable performance shop charging (I beleive) only $69 /hr. They can do it all. Minor repairs and service to full big turbo builds and dyno Tuning. There is no other shop you should consider.

Lol i’m on my girlfriends account, but just brought my 2013 frs in and they did an amazing job on my alignment. considering no where else does alignments on lowered cars, this place is able to move around that and be a huge life saver. the man that talked to me in the shop about what i wanted with my camber adjustments was very kind and i appreciate the work y’all did. the hour drive home felt like a new car! 10/10 will come again haha

Poor scheduling, had my car sit, did not install the part i asked them to install, the aervice desk would not give me a straight answer or answer my question about why they refused to install a simple gauge ... i will never go back to this shop.. also proceeded to charge me with even notifying me that they were going to charge me for doing nothing in the car.. felt like theres very little communication with this company.. not very professional..

Excellent performance shop! Simply put, these guys know their stuff and run a great business. I would trust any Miata or German car in their hands whether maintenance or go-fast goodies. I live in NJ and will be taking the 4 hour round trip journey again with future work to be done on my turbo miata.

I started experiencing excessive transmission noise in my Golf R and after a long email string back and forth between Tom and myself decided to drop my car off to have the transmission removed and refreshed. Everyone at AP Tuning was professional, there shop rates even for specialized labor are well below what you would be charged at the stealership and the work is on par if not above what would be done at a dealership. They also rectified several other issues I inquired about I could not be happier. I will be a returning customer for sure.

Great place took my 01 Gti here to get a tune. They didnt have an APR map for my car but so I went with United Motorsport. The look over of the car and map download took about 20-30 mins. Recommend this place to anyone with a German car.

I had brought my TT up here to get an egt probe installed, misfire fixed, alignment, and a custom exhaust done. They had the car for a month and a half so I cancelled the exhaust. Went to get my car when it was done and they said the misfire was my forge bov/dv and so I had bought a diverter valve from them. Drove the car all the way home and the next time I turned the car on the egt probe hasnt worked correctly since and now it doesnt work at all. It was my probe that they installed so it could be that its a bad probe but this is the second one they put in for me that they say would be a bad probe. I never installed the diverter valve I bought and put in new coil packs and it fixed the misfire. My bov/dv had nothing to do with it. I had to call to send the diverter valve back and get my money back. Use to always go an hour and a half to these guys to work on my car. Wont be doing that again.

Im impatient, and wanted to lower my car, so I contacted Matt in their logistics department and he was very helpful in finding a solution. He figured out how to get my coilovers delivered by the weekend and was very responsive to all my emails and phone calls. They do all the work on my cars, couldnt be more pleased. I also just got my Audi lowered and after I got it back and drove it for a couple days, it started to make a knocking sound. Turned out to be the strut mount and they replaced it for free.
