Took my car there about a month ago because of a broken ignition switch housing. A 20-minute job oh, and my vehicle was in their shop for 2 days. They charged me $165 in Diagnostics. $165 in labor and $115 for the part. Now if you look up this repair youll see that its averages 20 to 30 minutes to complete. Yet they tied my vehicle up for 2 days after I explained to them that I work out of my vehicle and I lost two days labor. Why my car was there they told me that there was a factory recall on airbags and that they could replace them free. I authorized this. Another day wasted, and only one airbag got replaced. I could not afford any more time out of work and so I just came for my vehicle. They replaced my driver side airbag, but ever since they did; my driver side left turn signal flashes very quickly and dim. Its not the bulb the bulb is fine oh, and I had no problems with my turn signals before going to their shop. I tried calling in about the problem but have yet to receive a response. In my experience they charged way too much for what they regarding the ignition switch housing, and also I believe that their mechanic damaged wiring while replacing my airbag, since ever since that day Ive not had a properly functioning left turn signal. The right thing to do would be to answer my attempts at contact, and finish the job by replacing my passenger side airbag like they were supposed to, and repairing the damage they did to my turn signal for free rather than causing me to spend even more money for their inefficiency and negligence. When I was on with the guy he actually told me well if you need the car back, the mechanic can just slap everything back together real quick. Well when they slapped my steering wheel back together they screwed my stuff up and now they dont want to answer their phones or call me back. Very unprofessional. And Im actually kind of scared to go back there to get it fixed because they already damaged my stuff once and overcharged me for it.
They were very prompt when setting up an appointment to see a vehicle I was interested in. When we got there we were directed to the person we were to meet. Ben Winters is very friendly and knowledgeable, we looked the vehicle over he showed us the various features on it, took us on a test drive where we could test the vehicles various abilities. There was no pressure, of course I had researched the vehicle previously, I took note of other customers being treated as well as we were treated. Everyone was pleasant

The sales staff and service department are on top of their game nothing but professionals. Purchased a Jeep Sahara on Friday. Love the in and out process. Thanks to Scott Keath everything was expedited efficiently unlike many other dealerships. He was a pleasure to work with. He made sure the clutch recall and tires were replaced.My only complaint is the the 5th tire doesnt match the other tires that were replaced. The tire on the back is a Wrangler tire which is a better brand of tire then the ones Im driving on. So I will have to switch them out. And I dont know anyone who will want 5 tires that dont match which is very irritating. This is why they lost a star.Other then that, this is my first Wrangler and Im loving it.
First oil change & tire rotation completed this past Saturday. This was probably the smoothest & least amount of time I’ve sat waiting for my car to get done. My first synthetic oil change was free... which was an amazing surprise! All I had to pay for was my tire rotation! I’ll definitely be back again & again for all car needs!
Service representative was very polite. He kept me up to date with what was going on.. My tire was changed out very quick, which allowed for minimal missed work.

My boyfriend recently purchased a Cherokee at this dealership which had customer service that is hard to find nowadays! Dean was the salesman we worked with, and he listened to all of our concerns. He was not pushy at all, and got us excellent financing which recognized our good credit. Great first service experience. Had inspection, emissions, oil change and battery replaced on my fab. Great price, great service and clean and inviting waiting room. Only downside, didnt get a complementary car wash, which I thought was done automatically. Overall, great place and would highly recommend.Melissa

This was the easiest dealership I have worked with. I was in and out in 2 hours. Ladd Hanford was efficient but also made sure that everything was covered at the best price in town.
I arrived at 9am to get a oil change. The woman at the desk took my information and told me that there was a recall on something with the car and if i would like it taken care of that day. I said sure that would be fine. She then told me my vehicle would be done by 10:15. Well 10:15 came and the car was done but there was something wrong with the computer system so i had to wait for the paperwork. Ok i figured stuff happens. So around 10:45 a gentleman came to me and said i was ready to go. And there was no charge and i questioned because of the oil change i didn’t think i was getting a free oil change. He had no paperwork for the oil change. They never did the oil change. The whole reason i was there to begin with. They only did the recall. So then i had to wait again so they could do the oil change. Didn’t leave until 11:30. I know this is probably a fluke thing because every other time i had good service. But this was my most recent experience

The Sales department has always been top notch. We just got a 3rd vehicle here and all the sales and finance people have been exceptional!! Thank you Josh, Ian, Gary, and Tim for helping me with my wifes Christmas present!! While the sales department is superb, I have had several issues with the service department. I had hoped the service department would mirror the sales department, but it is almost like the service department is a totally different dealership. I highly recommend to anyone to buy, or lease a vehicle from the Ladd sales staff, they really go above and beyond, but I do not recommend the service department for anything.

NEVER take your vehicle to a dealership for repairs. Lessons learned the hard way. Use a private mechanic. Problem 1 led to problem 2. For almost $5,000 in repairs you would think they could fix both problems. Nope. Ripped off, high prices for wealthy rich only. Vehicle returned with problem # 1 untouched. Vehicle repaired 60%, if even that much.Its all okay. $15+ K in backpay of Unemployment. When it hits my account, Ill shop for a brand new vehicle elsewhere. Maybe even buy 2 used good condition. Rip me off for a few grand, lose 5× as much in sales.

My husband and I had been shopping around for a certified pre-owned Jeep Grand Cherokee for quite some time, and it seemed that every time we came across a vehicle that checked all our “must-have-boxes” it was at the Ladd-Hanford Jeep dealership in Lebanon. Though we live 45 minutes from the Ladd-Hanford dealership, we decided to take a little road trip and check out their inventory, which was larger than other dealership in the area. That was the best decision we could have made.When we arrived at Ladd-Hanford, the selection of certified Grand Cherokees looked just a nice in person as they did online. Had a warranty repair completed. The dealership completed the repair in a timely manner and ensured that I was satisfied with the repair prior to leaving the dealership.
Called to schedule an oil change and inspection for my jeep. I was told my jeeps inspection couldn’t be done as it was a month early and that the oil change was a walk in service. I told her I wanted to come in first thing and she said they open at 7:30am to which I said I would be in. I arrived this morning at 7:23am, parked and went to the door which was locked. Saw a guy sitting straight away at his desk and he clearly saw me standing there in the rain and drizzle. As 7:30 arrives there are two girls that sat down at the counter looking out at me. Neither of them could unlock the doors?With the doors still locked, away I go. Not going to stand there in the rain while 3 people look out the window at me and nobody has the courtesy to unlock the doors a few minutes early.Had business in Harrisburg and stopped at Freedom Toyota and went right in. Got the oil changed and was in and out the door in 40 minutes.Will not give Ladd’s any business and they can just forget about my jeeps inspection next month as we discuss on the phone, as I made an appointment with Freedom. Other places are more than happy to service my jeep.Big thumbs down for lack of courtesy when it’s mere minutes from opening time and you cannot open the doors when you see a customer waiting in the rain.

Do not trust this service department. Ladd-Handford told me I needed a new AC compressor and quoted me $1,300 for the repair. Took my car to York Kia and turns out it just needed an evac and recharge for $150. Works great now! So thankful I did not let Ladd-Handford rip me off. It also took them three tries at ordering a part to get my window motor fixed. After the 3rd ordered part did not work I took my business elsewhere.
Ben Winters was an awesome sales associate to deal with! He guided me through the ordering process and kept me well informed during the build time. I have 4 Jeep dealerships that would have been closer to me than Ladd Hanford, but Ben made it very worth it to go a little farther to his dealership. Been going to them for more than five years for maintenance. Generally decent service aside from them taking 3+ years to finally correct the name on my account that my vehicle was associated despite correcting them every time I went in. Oh and they have an uncanny talent for always putting the wrong mileage on the mileage sticker after an oil change. None of that is all that serious, the 3 star rating comes from an unpleasant experience with a salesman. I was interested in a brand new fully loaded ram. The salesman seemed skeptical of my interest or maybe even my ability to purchase the vehicle. Overall he was very dismissive and condescending. Not sure if it was my age or my showing up in work boots and work clothes. Regardless, unfortunately for him and ladd Hanford his unprofessional demeanor led me to another dealership resulting in the purchase of 2 new trucks since August.
Our sales team was thorough and informative. The speed to get us through the process was greatly appreciated since i was on a tight schedule. They went out of their way to ensure i had no delays but that i still got the necessary information on my new vehicle.

Ladd Hanford is truly the best Jeep dealer in South Central, PA. They are honest and they do the absolute best they can on pricing and incentives for new vehicle purchases. Gary Deibert & Ian Donlin are both tremendous at their jobs. Ian worked hard to get the specific Jeep that I was looking for while Gary looked into all available rebates and trade incentives to make my purchase happen. In todays climate there are a lot of dealers out there trying to pull a fast one on people. Ladd is the exact opposite of this and its the reason why they continuously get such high scores. This place was horrible service. I took my Jeep to have a look over to see what needed repaired... as you know they are a Jeep car business. When I got my car back they failed to tell me that I needed basic replacement like TIRES. I had to spend extra money to go to another place to let me know they missed major components and possibly would of billed me double for parts that there connected. It is a shame. The service manager was arrogant and condescending. He needs basic classes in customer services and how to talk to the general public. Do not go here.

Great salesman Rob. I had my 2020 Ram deatiled twice for $2000. What a complete ripoff. They tried to clean my interior twice and still didnt vacumm console out or clean finger prints off my ceiling. They were to put special stuff on my paint to keep from scratching n protect from sun. Maybe they did that. Stain guard on interior I dont believe they did since finger prints on ceiling still . Didnt paint my driver side door handle. Been a nick in it since the day I bought it. Very disappointed .

Scott Keath and the rest of the staff were all very professional. They took me on the the best test drive Ive ever been on. We braked hard, went over bumps, and went on winding roads, all so I could see what driving the car was really going to be like. So much beyond what other places will do. We came to a great price. No hidden dealer fees, everything was up front - it was vehicle price plus tax, tag, title and thats it. No weird fees like other places will try. All about honesty. I live an hour and a half away and Im coming back here for my next car.

The sales and finance departments are great, but the service department is hideous. We bought a new Ram 1500. After 2,000 miles, a rubber seal that sits against the glass in the right rear window came apart. The glue holding the rubber would not allow the window to close. To get it closed, I placed a piece of paper between the glass and the frame. The service department screwed up our initial appointment, claiming it was made 3 days early. This was not likely our error since my wife and I both travel, and we would not schedule an appointment when we were out of town. Anyway, after complaining to the service manager, they finally got my truck in. They called my wife and said they found the problem. The service advisor said there was a piece of paper stuck on the glass. All the dealer did was pull out the piece of paper I stuck in the window as a temporary fix. They did not even replace the original rubber seal that fell apart. It looks terrible, and will likely leak when it rains. I called the dealership, and was told I have to deal with Nick, since he was the service advisor. I have left Nick several messages, and have not yet received a return phone call. I finally was able to get hold of him. We will see if it gets fixed. I would not purchase another vehicle from this dealership.

Dean Ebersole was our salesperson. I texted him in the morning when we on our way. He had the truck out front and ready to go. Went for a test drive and liked the truck. We then just glanced at a similar truck and saw other options we were interested in and ended up picking out a different 2019 Ram 1500 Warlock. There was no hassle or pressure on their part and we negotiated a fair price(a fair price to me as I had done extensive research and priced at 2 other dealerships) Dean was very friendly and knowledgeable and Micheal in finance made the paperwork a breeze. We have bought a lot of vehicles and I must say this was one of the better if not the best experiences we’ve had so far.

They replaced the battery in a very timely fashion. And i was on my way. Also scheduled appt. For inspection and oil change. Great experience overall.

Nick asked us to fill out the credit application online and supply some paperwork. I had a number in no time and the next day we headed down to pick up our new car. After about 45 minutes of paperwork, we were on our way. It was the smoothest and easiest car buying experience Ive ever had.

Brought my wife’s 2010 Jeep Wrangler in for warranty work - clock spring replacement. Whoever did the work chipped the dash in multiple places around the airbag cover and left the plastic covers off of the dash screws. This Jeep doesn’t get driven much (twice a month) and the damage only noticed by my wife weeks after the fact. Will never take another vehicle to them for any work nor recommend this dealership.
