I been shopping here since I was 18 yrs old. 27 now. Good guy. Small town gun shop. I recommend him to anyone but I would call before making a trip cause the hours of operation seem very inconsistent. Other then that a very pleasant shop to check out.
Mike (owner) is a great guy! Brought in a rifle that needed some work. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and even showed me what was happening. Diagnosed and solved the problem super quickly! I recommend this place to everyone and will definitely be going back.
I’ve always had a great experience with Mike and everyone else in the shop. Occasionally I stop by to ask questions and they always have the answers, additionally, they are happy to provide me with them. I’m thankful for this wealth of knowledge in my town.
Mike is the kindest shop owner this side of the mason/dixon line! Hes knowledgeable, friendly, and full of awesome stories. He stopped me from making a big mistake and hurting the value on a historical rifle. His prices are fair and the store atmosphere is something to be experienced.
Mike is very knowledgeable about guns. Hes a good guy to get to know. He has always been a friend to me. The only reason why I dont give him a 5 star rating is cause I believe we all can find room for improvement. The bible says we all should strive for that mark of perfection.
Mike tried his best to rip me off. I was looking to trade my glock 23 in New condition ( it was a week old) for a compact 1911 he had. I knew I would be losing money on the glock but he offered me 150 dollars. The gun I was wanting to buy was 750. He insisted that the glock was just a junk gun and I needed to take the 150 and thank him for the great deal. He did not know me. i guess he thought I was dumb enough to take his word
HELP!!! This is not a review!! My fiancé dropped a new firearm off for service at the store last week and was supposed to pick it up Wednesday (yesterday) morning. The store was closed yesterday and today. We don’t have any other ways to communicate with Mike aside from the store number. Wanted to post here to see if anyone can help or know when the store will reopen.
Mike is a great guy. He can order anything you want at good prices. He does not keep a lot of stock on hand, mostly cause people buy it as soon as he puts it out(firearms anyway). He is also a great gunsmith with reasonable prices. Also a great guy for the ladies who are purchasing their first or their 500th weapon. Watched him talk to both types. He explained things in a respectful manner and its about what you want, not what some bubba thinks you need. If you know what your doing he talks to you in that manner.
The people there acted like I was a kid. They need to treat everyone as a respected customer. They have nothing on the shelfs and 40 dollars to install sights that are already 139.00. For a screw and a push. Wow.
Ok.... the review from Ken Cancilla is an attempt to lower the ratings of this business. He has given basically the same review at another gun shop in Lebanon TN.Now I’m a tell it how it is man. Military ( Navy Search and Rescue Swimmer ) Veteran and previous Law Enforcemnt Officer. I am a man of Honor. Few know what it is to be honorable these days. I know the owner of this establishment. I’d trust my children’s lives with this man, Mike Sanders( owner ). He has earned my trust and my business. Notice I stated “ Earned “. He is very knowledgeable and if he can’t answer it he will get the answer for you and he isn’t arrogant. A true Christian family man. He has an antique coffee machine and it’s nice to just have a seat and have intelligent conversation. When I saw the one star review I had to investigate because I knew it couldn’t be Mike. Thing is ole Ken was mad about being quoted 40$ to change out sites on a pistol. Excuse me. Mike is a master gunsmith and you don’t get work done for free. Come on. Then making comments about getting it done elsewhere for cheaper? May be why he left the same review at another gun shop. Wants something for nothing and if it’s so easy why didn’t he just do it himself. I don’t like seeing people I respect talked badly about and made to look bad. Mike will always have my business.Thank you for being you Mike.
Love, this place hometown gunsmithing at its best. Stop by and say hi. They love that there!
Great place, if he doesnt have it... He can get it.
Mike is a very dedicated shop owner who treats his customers like his friends.
They treat you like family and actually want to help u find what your looking for and NOT just to trying to make a sale and get you out the door its a really good shop
Great service.
