Very knowledgeable and incredibly nice! I have hearing loss that falls outside of the normal patterns seen among aging clients and he made sure to show me multiple low profile hearing aid options. Given my age, I wanted to keep them as unnoticeable as possible and he helped find a good balance of portability, features, battery life and “noticeable-ness” all in one appointment. I’ve yet to see nearly any business with 100% 5 star reviews but I can’t think of any practice more deserving of such high ratings! If you’re looking for someone with great customer service and extensive knowledge, come here! One thing to note, the photo on Google is actually his father who is not involved in the practice anymore, it’s now ran by his son who clearly learned a thing or two about running a top quality practice from his father!

Sam at OHHServices is the best! I have had to be refitted because of my hearing issues and canal structure. He is always willing to educate me on best aid for my lifestyle etc. always going beyond the call of duty!! Christy is always willing to get me an appointment to make it right!!! Very helpful and kind. Great service!!! If you need hearing aids. They are the best!!

These people have given me great service when my hearing aids needed adjustments over time. They also replaced one that I had lost, for a nominal fee, and recently had new electronics put in free with both aids when one wore out. Clearly customer-oriented. Thanks so much!

I first met Dan in Bend and was glad to see he is nearby. His son, Sam, has helped me to hear better. He and his staff are very helpful. I should have gotten better hearing years ago. It is very nice to hear what is said.

Sam Matheny, Hearing Aid Specialist, (Dans son) helped my 88 year old mom with her hearing aids. He displayed excellent communication skills with my mom who is severely hard of hearing. He was patient and generous with his time, from the thorough, state of the art hearing test, and accurate algorithm adjustment of the aids, to getting the exact right parts for a perfect fit for challenging ear canals. It is obvious that Sam has a lot of experience with hearing aids and software. His prices and ongoing service promise cannot be beat. He even cleaned my dads old aids for free. This guy is a gem with a great sense of humor. His dedication and services are 100 percent worth a trip from Corvallis.

What a blessing to find OHHS and the great staff! After one only fair experience and a couple of mediocre experiences in Portland at hearing centers I was hardly wearing my hearing aids. Fast forward to our move to Foster at the end of the year and the good fortune of receiving care and assistance from Sam and staff I am confidently wearing my aides daily. Sam is spectacular....patient, accommodating, kind and extremely knowledgeable in his trade. Christy could not be more welcoming and friendly. The first day I walked into Dan’s office I had a problem with a device that another provider had sold me, but seemed unwilling to take care of. Dan handed me a lightly used one explaining that the device was obsolete and no longer being marketed. Imagine my surprise when I asked what I owed…..nothing. Dan simply said to come back and see him sometime. A few days later one of my aids began to fail; I called Dan and explained my capabilities, needs and scheduled an appointment. I am a challenge to deal with, at 43 years old I am not your typical hearing aid consumer. I work hard and play hard. I sweat a lot, I am outside nearly all time and I have a severe loss profile meaning that I have no options other than a high power Behind-the-Ear aid. I work in an occupation that requires several hours a week on the phone, mostly while driving. Dan listened to my needs and experience levels; when I arrived for my appointment Dan had 2 sets of aids complete with accessories ready for me to test.Dan earned my business in the first visit, the second visit proved to me beyond doubt that Dan was a provider that I trust and rely upon to take care of my needs now and in the future.I would whole heartedly recommend Dan and Oregon Hearing Health Services to anyone with hearing loss.
