Back in the beginning, our company had purchased used Fecon BH mulcher heads for our SS Track Machines and a used FTX128L forestry mower just for trial purposes. We love them as they stood up to the rigorous test of the hard conditions in our industry. (of course, you need to consider Operator skill and utilization toward any machinery.) And in doing so, we purchased another new FTX128L forestry mower which I believe are the best track mower units out their for their size, and then we took on 3 brand new BH74SS for our John Deere TM units. If you are a unsure, Rent One and try them out. You will not be disappointed. Highly Recommended!

I tried for 4 days to contact a sales rep in regards to buying a new machine FTX150. They kept saying oh someone will call you back. I even went online to the chat and talked to someone and same thing. I would hate to see what it would be like if I did buy a machine from them and had issues I would never hear from them.

My husband and I bought a Fecon Stump Hog 260 two years ago. Earlier this year the hydraulic motor proved to be defective and should have been recalled. Fecon denied any issue or responsibility and refused to provide customer assistance. We tried for months to get help, and their response was to block us on Facebook so we could not message them.It turns out the Stump Hog was not manufactured by Fecon but was a third-party product from abroad with a white-label motor. Fecon would not stand behind the product at all.We finally got a new motor when we figured out who made it and went straight to them. However, we were out of business for about three months.Needless to say, we are quite disappointed in Fecons customer service, supply chain, and leadership culture. We will not be doing any more business with Fecon and have advised our John Deere distributor about the problems so they can address it corporately.

By way of background, I am a 21 year Marine Corps vet, with no experience with mulching heads. A friend recently offered to sell me a used MH60, a head made for John Deere by Fecon. Wanting more information and expertise, I called John Deere...they were clueless...no help at all. So, I called Fecon...they could have told me to contact JD...its their head after all, but Fecon instead took numerous phone calls from me for tech support...how to test it, vibration tests, tach test, etc. They even told me it appeared to be a good deal instead of trying to sell me one of theirs.. This sort of honesty from a competitor was really amazing. Kevin McCann was absolutely super, taking many of my calls. I was even able to get some help from a former Fecon employee who rebuilds and sells Fecon heads, Jim Schuerman. Jim even checked some videos and photos of the head before I bought it, and recommended I buy it instead of trying to sell me one of his own, which was amazing. I did end up buying the head, and thanked Kevin for his help. To my surprise, he offered to have his Service Rep take a look at it if he was ever in the area. A few weeks later, I got a call from Doug Mace, who actually met me at my property gave me some great pointers on servicing and operation, and even tested the head for me... I was literally blown away by this experience. In summary, every single person I dealt with at Fecon was exceptionally knowledgeable and super helpful, and they did this for a person who owns a used John Deere (Fecon made) head! Im a loyal Fecon customer forever...than you Fecon, and especially Kevin, Jim, & Doug!
