Great fabric and holiday store! Fabric cut line wasnt too long and check out was fast. Not quite as comprehensive as my old store in Tustin, but super fun all the same. Good parking lot and bathrooms available with a key from the fabric counter. Pets are welcome and I brought my baby Guinea pig along. 🌞🐹🌸

This particular Joanns is closing permanently so had their store closing sale. The fabric and notions were picked clean but the patterns were untouched and I spent a pretty penny getting the patterns I wanted even with the clearance sale discount. The employees and particularly Zoe were super helpful and kind. She definitely deserves a raise.

I only dislike the Lemon Grove Joanns location because they are going out of business in 6 days and they barely have anything left. I didnt know this before driving from Clmt. They didnt have what I needed, unfortunately. Good deals if you need fabric, buttons, lace, etc. 60-80% off.

Wherever I am in San Diego all I know is this: every store should be and needs to be stocked like this one...rewind...every Joann store needs to be stocked with yarn and fabric like this store. Holy smokes now this is the way it should be and with that no more need be said - coulda browsed four hours. Yes, it was like that!!! The store was clean, well stocked with other items and upon entering and exiting staff greeted!! Thank you for a nice shopping experience.

They are always so nice here. Its a smaller store so you wont always have quite as large a selection of fabrics as the bigger locations, but they will definitely take their time to help you find the best options for your project. And these are long timers who know so much. Every fabric, every accessory, every tool, they know exactly what to recommend and where to find it, and they always remind me to use the right coupons.

Great selection of fabrics if you are into restoring your furniture or even if you are planning small house projects. They have great discounts and if you download their online app, you can save 40% - 60% off their already low prices. A great bargain.

Store has a lot of fabric and much more crafts. It’s useful for buying sketch pads, yarn, buttons etc. The lady at the fabric cutting counter can do better with her customer service skills. She acted very cold and rude as she cut the fabric. If employees want to act like they are doing a hugggeeee favor by cutting the fabric then online shipping here we come? It doesn’t make sense to have a sense of entitlement when serving others. I am sure other cashiers and employees at this store do their best. There is room for improvement for this person. However this is overall a good store that serves the public. Crafts are very important for everyone.

The cashier was extremely nice. One gal in Fabrics was extremely helpful. The other, more petite one was not helpful at all. I wish the woman who helped me find what I needed had been the one cutting fabric.

I usually only go to Joanns for their clearance section. The clearance section at this one is GIANT, but prices are still a little high. Sometimes I will find something good. All in all, this Joanns is good, not as crowded as others which is nice!

The fabric guy was super helpful, he was very knowledgeable and gave many tips to a first time quilter. the store was well organized and it was very easy to find the things i needed. the only thing i didn’t like was the impulse buys by the checkout 🤣

Its a nice little store; I go there far too often for my own good. Its a small store, so the selection is small, but it has just what I need. I love it!

To be honest this place is expensive compared to other craft stores. I mean honestly, do they not know there is a 7 eleven in the same shopping center that sells the same snicker bar for 89 cents. Who sells a snicker bar for 3.29? Really 3.29 snicker bar?

I went during labor day weekend so this might not be an everyday occurrence. Parking was scarce when you pull in and there didnt seem to be any additional parking for overflow. I went in to buy a knife blade and housing for my cricut maker and saw that they wanted $50+ for it. I was able to find one on Amazon for less than half that price.

Need more help if allowing people to shop!

Great selection of fabric.

While the staff was friendly, and the yarn selection itself was extensive, I am used to a larger selection in knitting & crochet supplies at Jo-Anns. I went to Jo-Anns specifically for cushions to put over my smaller steel hooks because I cannot find them anyplace else and I have seen them at several different Jo-Anns previously. I also could not find the interweave crochet magazine that I am used to finding at Jo-Anns.

Girls at register are so sweet. Wish the store had bigger selection, better deals and a bit more expertise in various crafts to answer my questions regarding the materials or medium I should be using to achieve my desired results.Overall, I would definitely recommend this Joannes over others in the area.

You can find your fabric & crafting basics. They usually have really good sales as well. Very helpful staff.

I would have given 5 stars but they packed my store pickup order incorrectly and because I used a gift card, I was told that I had to call customer service to get a new gift card reissued to me for the difference between my order and available products in store; however, customer service told me that they could have handled it in the store. Other than that the associates are very helpful and friendly!

This store is small and has absolutely nothing related to planners or stickers. The clerk was friendly. Parking spaces are tight and hard to come by. Wont bother going back.

Horrible customer service. None of their call buttons work and the workers were so annoyed to help me even though it is their job. I asked for them to cut me a couple yards of fabric and the girl looked at me like I just asked her something way out of the ordinary. I asked another lady for directions to a certain type of crafting items and she ignored me a first couple of times I had to run her down and tap her on the shoulder for her to help. It was almost like i had to drag someone to get assistance. It was also very dirty and missing so many items from the shelves. It looked like they were going out of business rather than running one.

All I needed was 1/4 yard of fabric and there is only two people cutting, waited 30 minutes, didn’t even get close to my number, and I left and didn’t even get what I needed. The slowest employees ever. And all they can say is “There’s no on else to cut right now” when I see other employees walking around doing nothing.

They let you use as many coupons as you want, its great. Great selection of yarn for knitting and they have a lot of impulse buy items at the front, I love it!

The clerks were quite helpful. One lady was on her way to lunch but took the time to get me correct fusible interfacing for a T shirt quilt.At checkout the lady there gave me a discount which I was not aware of.

The store was super easy to navigate and had great savings in every area. Emily knew the store much better than another employee and she showed us directly to the pens other supplies we had been looking for for almost an hour. If you end up lost, look for Emily.

The cashier Danni was super rude to me she was mad because I was asking for prices of items, sorry that’s your job! Also she was mad because I was using coupons!!! Made me feel really uncomfortable while she was pouting at me. She also charged me twice for an item and I called and talked to the manager Maya but she didn’t seem to care. Please if your had a bad day no need to take it out on the rest of the world.

The Joanns at this location is a small store. It has a good size fabric and notions section. If you are looking for items for sewing or quilting, or yarnwork this store will probably have what you need. For other crafting the sections are small. Very small scrapbooking section with just a few items and paper choices. There is very little available at this store in terms of holiday items. They carry almost nothing for different holidays. Few staff available to help but the ones that are there are friendly.

Needs more organization but nice, big store with knowledgeable employees. I thought I was ready to sew a blazer as a beginner but was advised to start with something simpler, which made a lot of sense. I thank that employee

My Wife drags me here 3 or 4 times a month. They honor coupons paper & online types. I either sit in the car or visit coffee shop while she does circles up & down the isles until she exhausts all her coupons.

Employee s are very educated & know what they are doing in detail because that is what sewing & crafts r all about the little details you dont think about but need.

The store is often understaffed and not everyone is friendly. Their stock is often low of the items Im specifically looking for, but its a good place to pick up the most common items.

I feel bad for this location. Its a nice store but the parking is difficult due to the discount store next door. If you go, try and avoid weekends if you dont want to work for your parking spot.

Smaller store. Staff unfamiliar with the stores contents and uses. A specific employee told 3 different customers that the store did not carry specific items and she would know as had stocked the section. The customers found their items for which the employee simply said, Oh, I didnt know what that was. Other employees in the area agreed the store did not carry the items found by the customers. Employees not helpful.

I am a real artsy person so i like to buy my stuff from Joanns they have the best quality stuff and i would recommend.

The staff here seem to be very lazy and uninterested in helping customers with their projects. Compared to the assistance Ive received at the Parkway location, this store really sucks.Ex: instead of saying Im not familiar with what youre asking about I get a straight we dont have that here.. I walk around the store for 20 minutes and find what Im looking for. I asked for mancala pieces. I said they look like rocks. We dont have rocks. Went to the floral area, and not only do they have the mancala pieces THEY ALSO HAVE ROCKS! And sand.. and fish bowl pebbles..

Shelves were almost empty in the paint section.

This one is alright if you need something basic, but I prefer the big one on Navajo or Fletcher which has more of a selection.

One of the smaller Joann’s but clean and organized. Floral section doesn’t have much to choose from.

I got a thing of black faux fur that was on clearance for $20 for the entire thing. But, when I got to the cashier they charged me $46. Be careful with their clearances and sales sometimes because they can scam you. Also, the staff were a bit rude and didnt even bother with trying to help when I asked them for where I can find faux fur in the store.

The middle age male cutting fabric is a lazy unfriendly worker. He should work at a correctional facility.

The staff is nice enough but not as knowledgable about the projects Im attempting so I usually end up returning a handful of items and going to home depot or Hobby Lobby .
