This is GTM Lemon Grove California. They just expanded their store because they took over the space that Sally Beauty Supply had next door and Sally Beauty Supply went out of business at that store. So anyway, GTM took it over and theres more space. But you will see name brand clothes, tools, occasionally musical instruments even, plus electronics, plus great selection of snacks,chips, pretzels, potato chips Etc. Great selection of beverages, I even get organic food, along a pretty good supply of vitamins, nutritional products and Health Foods, as well which I like. And prices are generally 50% off of what you pay anywhere else. Additionally, you will see Costco products in there as well as products occasionally from Walmart and other places where as you know, the prices are already low at those locations. So GTM will mark them down another 40-50% and that means that youre getting those products for close to wholesale prices (!), so you may be getting as much as 80% off on a product there. Its totally worth it. Ive been shopping at GTM since the 90s and I save a ton of money there. So, if you are looking for a bargain, then look no further; GTM discount stores!!

So tired of looking at the same clothes that Costco sells at a better price. What happened Santee store? You used to get better clothing in, I remember seeing clothing from Macys and others. I still shop here, but only for sale or coupon items. You guys need to up your game.

They have expanded into the space where Joanns fabrics used to be and are now remodeling. Looks cleaner and more spacious. Note: They have GREAT prices on their vegan (dairy free) cheese!!

Im impressed with the cashiers at all the GTM stores; they are fast, efficient and very nice. Ive been shopping there for many years, and they continue to hire qualified people with good people skills. {A shout out to Erica, Alfredo and Tracie...a few of the great team at Lemon Grove}

Decent overall experience, however, one item was charged full price, and not the 50% off the advertised price. I didnt see it until I got home and looked at the receipt. You cant double check sale items, because the monitor is only able to be seen by the cashier. Next time I will make sure that I ask and get all the discounts Im eligible for, and suggest others do the same.

Prices have gone through the roof. $10 for a Kirkland brand t-shirt. This is the exact same price that Costco charges. When the prices were good that used to be a busy store and you could hardly even get into the parking but they began raising prices on food clothing and everything about three years ago and now the parking lot is 2/3 empty and the store is empty. Clean though nice store but its not GTM anymore its more like Target.

Love this place anyway. Now they hàve doubled their size and I spend too much $ even with the great discounts.

I just stopped in to look around and see the new expansion and walked out with crafting supplies, a jacket for grandson, some household supplies and other little things. I love the expanded furniture/rug section and as always, the staff was super helpful and very friendly. Oh yeah, and the prices and discounts are still awesome!!!!

GTM is always a treasure trove of amazing items. However! Keep an eye out! Many items Ive noticed are priced more than at Costco... Gone are the days when items were half. Be sure to also check Amazon to price compare. Good deal on bathing suits. Check app for coupons. Good customer service, always trying help you save :-) Great food prices too.

You have to know your prices as some things are priced higher than Albertsons’s. Love the additional discounts-they bring me in.

They had a weekly sale this week that was 40% off two (2) regularly priced clothing, so I took a chance and stopped by if they had men’s Kirkland brand jeans…. And they did, and in my husband’s size!!! Regularly priced was $10.99 each, and I walked out the door paying $6.59 each🤑.They are very well quality especially for construction work👍🏽Went to the Lemon Grove location, and the staff is so friendly and helpful compared to other locations!! My friend and I had a most pleasant experience at the checkout today. Our cashier was very pleasant and friendly and wiped the area down well before we approached. My best experience yet at GTM. The store was well stocked and organized. I have shopped here many years but it was my friends first time and she was very happy with the whole experience. She signed up to get the email coupons and will be back. A five star visit.

Recent expansion looks promising, separating the furniture and larger home items from apparel and groceries. The little cosmetic and skin care section they have is organized and displayed neatly as opposed to the other branches, where everything is strewn around everywhere in a swapmeet-like fashion.

Cleanliness was lacking, but the prices were very affordable. Lots of recently expired food for cheap, too! If youre not picky about these sorts of things, then this GTM is your place.

The points showing on the app does not correspond to the in store. I had to get the manager involved because my app showed I had more points than the store and the cashier insisted I had to use the points she saw on my account on her register . So frustrating and time consuming.. eventually the manager allowed me to use my app points but not without a warning “ we will let you use it this time but next you have to use what’s showing in the store” . How about you update your app to match sore points?

All is good but yesterday I and others thought 40% off was in effect so bought more & then told tomorrow-LOL sometimes i hear ended yesterday/find a way for us to tell more easily-OK

I was updating my house with some new LED outdoor lights. Some are open box. I dont mind it, as long as it is functional. Prices are affordable and discounted. Has a 30 days return policy, which is great!

Great sales!!! You got to walk down each aisle to discover the sales. I picked up a 12 inch CAST iron skillet for $7. And for my St Valentines party goodies half off on .79 cents items. You cant go wrong. Check them out!

The store is clean, relatively organized and have pretty good deals. Some of the food is a little pricey for specialty items but it’s better than the regular store price. There return policy is ridiculous(non existent) so love it and be ok will losing out on money if you buy anything. I come once a week tbh.

Excellent prices and a great variety of merchandise. I love shopping at GTM not just for the value but for how there are always new and different products. Additionally, the staff is always helpful and the store keeps on top of having disiinfecting wipes and hand sanitizers available.

You can find some great deals here every now and again. I find it hard to get questions answered which results in the forfeited opportunity of a sale.

The service was awesome today at the Chula Vista store. Our cashier (Luna) helped us get the discounts that we asked for with our two coupons. They had more stuff than we were initially looking for.Some of the items are a little too expensive, I wish the prices were cheaper.

I usually find great deals on plant based milk at GTM and this time there was nothing in the refrigerated section and only a few shelf stable ones that I dont really like. Other than that, I love the bargain hunting and I did find some other great values.

Went to GTM on Christmas Eve for some last minute goods! GTM always comes through. Found some workout gloves with wrist strap protection. I had no idea GTM would have this. I asked, and I was shown exactly where they were. ... of course I also picked up a fresh bottle of Sriracha...(with the Rooster)

Normally I come in the evenings but today I came at opening and had to wait 30mins+ for the refrigerator isle to open due to stocking, very disappointed and so were many other customers. So of course getting notices of the sales and getting coupons definitely got me into the store. So thats good. I feel like there could be more womens clothing available, especially work clothes. Like office wear. This time when I went the lines werent ridiculously long like most times.

I really liked this store only for the fact they had some nice things however I found myself frustrated even before I could walk into the store by their security which was overly protective making me leave my bag up at the front and giving me a number and during this time of covered I really am not so sure that hiring security to watch over people shoplifting is going to thwart people from taking things because to be honest with you I dont shoplift but I see people do it all the time in GTM and they do it right in front of me and they walk right out and security is pretty much in my opinion a waste of time and money. Its just money in the trash basically that youre throwing away plus this GTM was filled with people who were maybe perhaps homeless or Im not sure they just were really strange and getting in my way and I just found myself frustrated by the whole experience so I just left without making a purchase and then I had to wait at the counter for 10 minutes because apparently the security was on break and I had to wait there until they came back so I could give them the number so I can get my backpack back. What a pain in the butt. Personally I think the GTM in Santee is much more personable and inviting however the manager there is a little weird about shoplifters also so if you look like you might be a shoplifter not not that I know what one looks like but they will follow you through the store if you seem suspicious or scruffy or well like a street urchin. I think that its discrimination but thats my opinion about GTM theyve always been that way.

The black lady in charge of the lines or maybe she’s a supervisor or lead handles herself very nicely even when customers act dumb or ask frustrating questions. I also liked the way she reacted to the long lines and how she politely corrected the flow of customers while nicely but firmly letting the other cashiers know which line went to corresponding register. Next time I’ll get her name so she can be recognized for her efforts. Thank you, if you’re reading this. 👍🏻
