Great and knowledgeable people. My family always receive great customer service in the years we have come here. I would definitely recommend this Target Optical department to anyone who needs glasses.
Went in for contacts, was given a trial pair of contacts that were less than my prescription. Since they didnt have my prescription in store. I order the brand they recommended (since the brand I normally use they dont carry) it has been over 4 weeks and I still havent received my order. I called to ask when I would get them and was told that the order hasnt shipped and it could be days or weeks. When I explained I didnt have any contacts at home and the pair I was given was starting to feel uncomfortable I was told to go back for another trail pair. I went back go the pair but again I only have the one pair. If anything happens to it I wont be able to see. I asked if I could cancel the order to order with another provider. I was told no that I would just have to wait until I receive the ones I ordered. It is very frustrating that I paid almost 200 with insurance and I still have to wait so long to get my contracts. Never going back.
I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to them .first, when I purchased the glasses I made it clear with her that I don’t want to use the insurance and I want to use back to school offer . Although, I discovered the did bill my insurance and I paid thinking I got the best deal . Also when I ordered a new glasses, they did it wrong. And when I want to return it they young lady that work over there was new . She doesn’t know how to do the return. She was so urgent to call the supervisor from the other store to help her . She give me hard time to return my money Back. And when the other employee came ; they both took another 30 mints to return and I do not know if they did it right. The new management is horrible. I has been their customer for a long time never has a problem. Also, the doctor force all the patients to do extra exam for 35$ so they can do more Money. It isn’t professional at all .

My husband and I just had our eye exam today, his for eyeglasses and mine for contact lens. The two ladies who work there are very helpful and accommodating (we had our two kids with us) and the doctor was very thorough. We are definitely going to tell our friend s and family to come here.

Extremely unprofessional. I had come in for a contact and eyeglasses exam and had told the doctor I wanted to order both new contacts and eyeglasses, as any person would after getting examined for both. The check-out process was extremely unprofessional and convoluted as we hopped around between three different machines. About a week later, I get a voicemail saying my glasses were ready. I call back and ask when my contacts would be ready and the staff member says 2-3 days. I call back about 5 days later only to find out my contacts had never been ordered. It was not only the fact that the staff had made a mistake, which alone I would understand as accidents happen, but the fact that when I called about my contacts, they had lied about the timing of the contacts and did not even actually bother to check the status, or else they would know the contacts had never been ordered. Just go anywhere else, Warby Parker, Costco Optical, LensCrafters, they are all much more professional than this place
I went from a very pricey place in downers grove, Rosins optical, that was so not personal to this store, let alone on new years eve, and feel like these employees are family, the embraced me with comfort and time in making my purchase, Then the quality and speed of my glasses was superior.
Very unprofessional and not respectufull of customers time. Showed up 15 min prior to appointment and was told I have to wait not sure for how long, because they are behind. I waited about 30 min in total and nothing changed still had a person in front of me. But the person at the front kept asking did I want to cancel. Horrible customer skills and service, avoid this place at all costs unless you want to wonder in target store for hours
Called to book my family eye exams before the school year starts (Myself and my wife wear glasses and our kids ages 5,6, and 10). The receptionist told me they couldnt book all 5 of us in the same day because the doctor told her they dont want Kindergarten exams booked on Saturdays(basically saying they dont want their prime day to be booked with less profitable business). This is terrible. Absolutely infuriated! My wife and I wear glasses, which means our kids are likely to need glasses soon, which means this business just lost out on a large amount of profit from our recurring exams, contacts, and glasses.
The team members there are always super friendly always such a positive attitude great guest service!!
