I was referred to Scott at R&S Automotive to do work on my car when I called him he was very friendly and polite and we scheduled an appointment right away. Unfortunately I forgot the day and came down to his shop a day early to my surprise he was extremely pleasant about it and slipped me right in. He was so nice about it! He got right to my Jeep fixed only what needed fixin and had a great attitude the whole time! I would definitely recommend his shop to anyone looking for a qualified honest and experienced professional for their automotive problems. Absolutely the best automotive service I’ve ever had! Tried to change my breaks and my lug nut wasnt coming off. Loud awful metal on metal scrapping every time I hit the break. Took my car in, replaced my stud, break pad, and rotor in less than 45 minutes! Let me know what to expect driving it. Scott just gained a customer for life!

Scott is awesome! Took my 2011 Subaru Outback to him to get the timing belt replaced and had a few other concerns that he looked into as well. He improved a heat shield rattle for me as best he could at no charge, as well as looked into an oil light remaining on issue. Dropped it off at 2 pm yesterday and had it back at 3:30 pm today. Really quick turn around and he was very honest and reliable. Will not hesitate to bring this car or any future cars to him in the future and would recommend him fullheartedly. :)

I recently moved here from out of state and had been looking for a shop to do a timing belt and water pump on my girlfriends 4Runner. I can’t say enough good things about this shop. The price was quoted upfront, they had the vehicle done when they said it would be done and there were no surprises when it came time to pay, it was exactly what they quoted me.This is how it should be. Not to mention that everyone I spoke with was super friendly and knowledgeable. When I can’t do it myself, this is where my vehicles will go.

Scott was my mechanic for many years, and is still the most capable, honest and fair mechanic Ive ever met. Unfortunately, it appears he doesnt like to work on older vehicles, and will make this known by making fun of your car on a regular basis, and repeatedly asking when youre going to trade. Even when youve told him you love your car, & its still a very dependable vehicle. I finally got fed up and went elsewhere, which I could only assume was what he wanted.

My wife took her 03 escort to two other places in Lenoir City to have her AC checked. It was making a loud noise and had stopped working. We had it checked for a gas odor and starting problem too. Both other places said it needed a compressor costing around seven or eight hundred dollars. Scott replaced a fuel line that a squirrel had chewed a 3 hole in and replaced a fuse to the AC unit.
