I went to try to use the bathroom. That I used many times before. The owner not sure what his name is was very rude. Just be sure if your not a customer dont ask to use there bathroom. They will tell you no so yeah for a possible future customer. They will not be seeing me.
I bring my kids here whenever they need any new equipment, I personally teach them and give them the lessons. However I would recommend this place to anyone because I know them to be knowledgeable, and very into personal attention, they take the time to get to know everyone and what works for them individually. I would definitely suggest you stop by and talk to someone if you’re interested
Best Music store in the state of New York!
I tried going to the location near my home to return an instrument only to find out the company closed that location near my home and due to the pandemic I did not feel comfortable going to their other location so I returned the instrument a month late.I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this company on equipment and they refused to forgive a $40 payment charge while the entire world reorganized their entire lives around a pandemic which is still ongoing today.Their lack of consideration for their customer over $40 during a pandemic is appalling and I will never purchase anything from them again.
Everyone in this music store was professional, helpful, and very kind. Dan assisted me in the phone and while I was at the store. He was awesome! They were one of the recommended stores from East Meadow Schools for music supplies. I had visited a different store (different company ) and was sold Items I didn’t need. My fault for my lack of knowledge. However, this store did not take advantage of my lack of knowledge about musical instruments, books, reeds, and I got a new bag for the saxophone (on sale) ... even better. I highly recommend Music & Arts to anyone looking for music instruments/supplies. Thank you Dan! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I went there to get my sons guitar restrung and tuned. It has been unused for a while since he is in the Army. Daniel B helped me, he was friendly and helpful. The guitar came back completely clean and in tune. The price was incredible for the work that was done. I will be going back again.
Exceeded my expectations. Brendan is an amazing piano instructor (also a guitar instructor). He is amazingly patient with my 4 year old who loves to come and jam with him. Cannot wait to see what my sons progress will look like 6 months from now as hes already playing tunes I can recognize! Anyone who is considering can rest assured in making the right choice at this establishment. Glad I was referred here by a local! :)
Went to a three music stores in our surrounding area to look at options for our daughters first guitar. In Levittown, we met Brian at first and he was very helpful answering my questions and my wifes and mentioned the upcoming deals that were being offered for black Friday. He suggested we bring our daughter back in to see what guitar fits her best. He did not pressure us at all and made us feel comfortable. We brought our daughter in later that day and Brian sat with her as she tried out different guitars and was very patient as she picked out the best fit. He went out of his way to set us up with everything and put everything in place for my purchase. When we came back in to finish everything, Jess and Gina were very helpful and accommodating with setting us up with what we needed at the best possible savings for us. We truly appreciate the help you guys showed us. The other stores we visited were pleasant enough with similar prices but you guys went out of your way to make us feel comfortable.
I went there to get one of my guitars fixed because of wiring issues and they were so nice and quick. They really seem to love working there and helping people with their musical needs. Fantastic place! Couldn’t recommend it enough.
Bought strings for my sons guitar. They only cost $2 for the pack and they even helped us put them on his guitar. The sales person was very nice and even gave my daughter a little noise maker instrument for free. We where also able to find a nice quality guitar case for only $10.
Staff is wonderful and welcoming. They are always accommodating to our needs. We recommend them to our neighborhood friends and family because music and arts is part of our community and we are very proud to be a part of them. MUSIC AND ARTS TEACHERS ROCK !!!!
Superior customer service...When most of us rely on online shopping there are some purchases that really need personal attention. The staff here is so helpful and knowledgeable. They listen to what the customer needs and do not try to upsell couldnt have asked for a better experience.
They gave me a free piano! And they have another one to give away for free! They are both wonderful, quality pianos. The staff and owner/manager are extremely nice and accommodating. Five of them helped me put the very heavy instrument into my SUV even though one almost got crushed doing so (and he did it with a smile). I originally learned how to play piano there 20 years ago. I was very surprised by their high degree of hospitality and helpfulness. They have a vast range of instruments and services as well as expert knowledge in everything having to do with music.
I spent a long time looking at brands for my next guitar. Ive been playing 30 years on and off. I came to the conclusion that the Reverend Brand was amazing value for the money and the quality and look of them were top shelf. I could have pick anything and bought it from anyone. Monster by far has the biggest selection. I would never even consider buying without trying (as Im out of state). The fact that they are assembled and each one setup in the USA, plus the tech signs off on it was a no brainer. These scream quality parts and get great reviews.I called Monster told them I had 3 choices from the line and they helped my narrow it down over the phone. Then gave me extra value on top of it no questions asked. I am more than pleased with the transaction and glad I bought it from them. Over the phone! No tax and free shipping!
My son has been taking guitar lessons at the Levittown location since 2008. The store has always had an unusually friendly, family-like atmosphere. The instructors know their music but are flexible. My son had the same guitar teacher for five years, and the previous teacher for three. They became family friends.Best of all, twice a year the store puts on a talent showcase at a good-sized rock club, which really helps focus students and gives them a goal. Families and friends fill the place, and its a blast watching the performers, whether theyre five years old or fifty years old.Lesson prices are extremely reasonable and come with a 10% discount on all products.Cant say enough good things about this local music store.
Extremely helpful and sympathetic staff! Ive only been there a few times and i’m never disappointed with such friendly service and great prices. Extremely recommend going and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Thank you again for all the help
Monster music is a great place for students old and young to learn to play an instrument and read music. The teachers are very knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable. They carry a vast selection of guitars, drums, woodwind instruments and more. I suggest checking them out.
My children have been going to monster music for 3 years and music and arts is now the store. I love the people who work there; the teachers are amazing. A good friend in my neighborhood had a problem with his sons instrument and I said let me try my place. Jess had given us a few options in fixing and or borrowing an instrument since our kids concert is in 2 days! She saved the day with the kindness of her heart. What a great store and place to take lessons. I tell everyone where my kids go- hope to see more kids I know getting lessons here soon!
The first thing I noticed was the store was nice and clean. They had a great selection of new and used music equipment. Friendly staff, great service.
I play the guitar and get lessons there. The teaching there is amazing! They teach you everything you need to know and maybe a little more. I would recommend this to anyone that either has no experience or a little and they can make you a rock star!
So its OK when you cancel my appointment when I am waiting in the waiting room, but not OK when I give you 4 hours notice? What, is your time more valuable than mine? Pfft, who needs it.
Absolutely love this place. Staff is incredibly friendly & teachers are knowledgeable. Everyone goes out of the way to be helpful. Their logo says it all, Stop Dreamin, Start Playin.
Great Music Store! Very helpful staff and excellent variety of supplies.
I take guitar lessons here and I learn a lot. There is friendly workers and a great place to buy a new instrument or take lessons.
The best lessons, rentals, and instrument deals around. As a student, employee, and patron of Monster/Music & Arts for over a decade, there isn’t another place I would think of going.
Best music store around!
I have tried any other music stores in the area none have the unique inventory and great customer service as monster music. Gina was very helpful today in me getting the right string ferrules for my telecaster. I will certainly recommend to anyone in Levittown looking for a good music store or lessons for guitar (chordophone), bass, keyboard or percussion (membranophones)
Took my vintage fender bassman amp head here thinking it was a reputable place.they tell me they willchange all of the tubes and capacitors, and that they have toclean the circuit. $600 to do this.they did almost none of it. it worked past the 30 day repair guaruntee but crapped out soon after. i took it to some one else who took the time to show me how badly i had been. ripped off.3 out of 6 tubes were never changed. they soldered a necklace of smaller capacitors together instead of getting the right one.clean a circuit is a nonsense term. they did nothing. bottom line, this place is a ripoff enter this house of horrors at your own risk.sorry capacitors is the wrong term. it was 4 120 resistors strung together to takee the place of a480 screen resistor for one of the power tubes. The bias resistor was bad the amp was never biased with the owner replied he has one of the best technicians in the state working on amplifiers.i dont see it.in response to the owners reply, why would i trust your cracktech to make it right the 2nd time? i had to spend another $180 to have your experts repairs fixed.3 tubes that cost abot $40 and your guy didnt change them. did not bias the amp, bias resistor was no good.it goes on and on.said you were going to clean the circuit found out thats bs.
Great staff and great instructors.
