Went here for 1st time had some cute stuff and of course stuff needed for garden farms etc. employees very friendly and enjoyed our time there got what we needed

The staff at this place are so nice & friendly (genuine + sincere goes a long way)! Reminds me of how things were more like when I was a kid (41 now)

Great customer service and very helpful staff you wouldnt expect such young women to be as educated about the tools let alone whats needed for you to complete the task at hand in the most efficient manner very surprised they were savvy with the kind of things that u would need to buy also. All in all the store offers a lot and the girls are helpful telling u where to find it. Deffo better than any other hardware in lewiston auburn!

The staff is incredibly helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the products they sell. They sell various premium products, with a lot of them at prices customers can afford. I went there to buy bird food and left there actually having learned a lot more about what food to feed them and when. And, I cannot say enough about the fantastic customer service I received! I truly cannot wait to go back!!

I loved the selection of bird feed and feeders, plus very helpful staff and mask policy.

Always friendly, helpful but not pushy, it is my go to place for hardware, typically better quality than big box stores. The range of products is impressive from bee keeping supplies, to garden, tack and so much more, and where else do the staff offer you a slice of spicy pickles with your stainless bolts?! Gottta love the place.

Wasnt impressed at all horrible customer service from the lady working the counter all i had was a question on where chicken feeders were and pig food and felt like my wife and I were rushed in and out there wasnt even any other customers. I would never recommend this place to anyone

The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to order anything you need if they dont have it in stock. Support your LOCALLY Owned and operated businesses! Here you are a LOT more likely to find American made products, like snow shovels that hold up and work well, unlike the cheap chinese JUNK the big box stores carry.

I go here ever other week for supplies and pet food.. normally a good experience but yesterday two young girls were talking loudly..complaining and using expletive f bombs etc.. it made my shopping experience less than appealing. I do not swear and I dont expect to hear swearing when shopping in public. Especially from the employees... classless... if it happens again Ill stop elsewhere.

I dont know if its just me, but I never feel welcome when I go in there. So I dont. Just because someone may not dress like a farmer doesnt mean they arent.

They are not big on personality, but they had what I needed and they also had what I didnt know I needed, lol. They carry Blue Seal feeds which I love and trust, and for this reason I shop there.

Found what I need to feed birds

I have been using Back Yard basics, farm feed to feed deer. I was told by a P.F.U. employee that it was great for deer, because it had a little of everything in it and not just one thing. I have talked with 3-4 biologists here in Maine concerning feeding deer. Whole kernel corn is not good for deer---if you feed a lot at once it can kill a deer---crack corn is not as harmful, but if the diet is changed too quickly crack corn can be harmful.So I went to the Lewiston, Maine P.F.U. to purchase Backyard Basic farm feed, the girl says we are all out, but we have corn! I said thanks, but corn can kill a deer! She tells me its not the corn, but the molasses kills the deer. I told her that I have talked to 3-4 biologists and read several articles about feeding deer and that I could send her articles about feeding deer. I left, and found what I wanted at the PFU in South Paris, Maine. The girl there knew all about the feed and named 3-4 feeds the same --Course 14, etc.. Just so that you know---the person in Lewiston was totally wrong.Mel
