I have dealt with Custom Cuts for years. Provides the best ground beef I have ever had. They have always been friendly and honest with me. I dont know if the negative reviewer was an isolated incident or the competition. hahaha. Thank you for your outstanding business. BEWARE! We paid Custom Cuts to butcher a 1,300 lb grass fed heifer. When we picked up meat, there was only 372 lbs of beef (and that included packaging and boxes). That is only 28% of meat off heifer. When we called Custom Cuts, the manager said the hanging weight was only 606 lbs and it was a small heifer (hanging weight for 1,300 lbs grass fed heifer should be between 800 and 900 lbs). He said the ranch owner must have his scales wrong. My brother-in-law works for the ranch owner so, to give Custom Cuts the benefit of the doubt, he checked the scales at the ranch and they were accurate. Further more, when the Hutterites, hired by Custom Cuts, came to the ranch to slaughter the beef they told the ranch owner it was a good size heifer. So the facts do not line up. We suspect Custom Cuts switched our beef or intentionally kept a significant portion of our grass fed beef. My brother-in-law said organic grass fed beef has a premium price tag at the meat counter. So it is highly suspect.

Got our beef processed here and they did a very good job, all the meat was done right and sealed and wrapped very well for storage in the freezer, great staff with lots of advise on how they process the meat and lots of other great meat there to purchase
