Northern tool and equipment has moved from the west side of interstate highway 35 to the east side of interstate 35.They are now located just south of Hebron Parkway / Round Grove Road, in the old Toys r Us parking lot.

I shop here often for work and home. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. They answer my questions quickly and accurately when I call for details or inventory. Ive never had an issue with orders or in-store purchases. Its just easy to shop here.

Need a tool.. They got it! I was amazed at all the equipment and tools stored under that one roof. The prices were outrageous either. I knew what I was looking for, but I still spent almost 20 minutes just walking around browsing.

Northern Tool rarely has the good deals and the quality tools they used to carry. Select brands are available at a premium but for the most part they carry tools and items that are on par with or slightly better than Harbor Freight. Only reason to go to Northern Tool is to pickup items shipped to store for free freight and return Internet or Catalog orders. In fact, Northern Tool has failed to keep up with the times, some items are only available through catalog and the Advantage member delas are only valid on Internet or by Phone as are some of the coupons they send. It is like they want the different departments competing with each other.

Had the luck of getting help by a gentleman named Logan. He went above and beyond to show me the items I was looking for and explained it all in detail rather than just pointing to the aisle and walking away like most other tool shops. He deserves a raise! Ill be coming back here for more tools when I need them. A+

Always found everyone very pleasant and professional at the counter and when delivered to my truck outside the store. Northern is a great place to shop for the house because they have a lot of goods. Pricing is always reasonable and availability is great.

Called this morning and spok to one of the sales people explained that I tried to purchase a generator online to pick up at the store but it went south. I gave the model and they checked to make sure it was available. I told them Id be there shortly. When we arrived, they had it pulled, with the battery, oil, and it was waiting at the front desk. AMAZING customer service skills!!! thank you!

You guys lost a $500 sale today. A dozen customers in the store and no employees were on the floor for over 10 minutes. When the manager and other workers finally came out i walked up to them and was ignored. So i called a competitor while waiting and they had the weedeater i was looking for. Thats how you lose business.

The prices are reasonable yet the website is not user friendly. The chat feature is very good. Individual was very quick to respond and very efficient in finding what I was looking for.

I just bought a lawn mower about 2 months ago and i know usted it twice, it wouldnt turn on and i took it the repair shop. My lawn mower has a warranty but the still charged me the $35. For the repair they were charging me $80. I dont recoment, they dont follow the warranty plan the machines have.

Store is okay, has good variety of items, including many oddball items that may be hard to find in other tools stores. Why only 3 stars? 1st prices are 5-15% higher than most other stores selling same or similar (other brands) items. 2nd - you cant rely on continuity of specific to that retailer brands. I bought a set of power tools and less than year later that brand was discontinued so I was left with useless tools due to lack of batteries- thanks to compatibility I discovered with Harbor Freight s brand I still use them. 3rd - misleading advertising - they sent me a coupon for free item, I drove to the store to find out they would not give it to me unless I buy something else - that was NOT specified in the add, unlike let say above mentioned Harbor Freight whos commons state with any purchase.Hopefully this knowledge saves you some headaches.

I am a diesel mechanic & Northern tools have a lot of great tools that auto/diesel mechanics would normally buy off an highly priced tool truck! They have inch wrenches & sockets up to 2 !!!Milwaukee, Dewalt & Ingersoll brand impacts!For me that is awesome!!!Northern is my go to store!!!

They dont stand behind the warranty on pumps, HF does. It would seem every time I visit Northern Tools, they are either out of stock of items Im looking for and the website says they stock.

Everything was going fine, I was about to spend $600+ but when I got to the cashier she refused to give us the $20 off for spending over a certain amount. I have made big purchases before and havent had a problem. So I said I would just leave everything and she said Ok and called someone to put things away. Its crazy that they would lose a big sale because they would not honor one of their coupons.

I bought a generator, and I used it once and it didnt turn on again. I went for the warranty, 2 months have passed and they still dont fix it.😠

Drove in from Denton to pick up a welder. They had told us it was in stock, but when we got there they said it was a special order. The other problem was that they had three sales people working on it and did not seem to be concerned in the least that we had make a trip for nothing. Scratch this one off your list.
