Ive taken my jaguar there for inspection and they got it done in a timely manner. I also dropped off my BMW after hours for fuel pump replacement and it was ready in the morning. Had an appointment to swap my Interlock device from one vehicle to another. It started with a long drive there only to find out that the technician didnt make it in.(2pm appt!!!) They tried to cover themselves by telling me that they called lifesafer to reschedule, however, lifesafer stated that they didnt have any records of them rescheduling. Finally after two days, I get my car with the Interlock device installed but I noticed that my brake light was flashing. The technician who installed the device claimed that from the point that he got in it to drive it in, he seen the light come on...Not True!

Went here after dealing with my car dealership. They were helpful and honest with the issues and prices. I recommend you are looking for an autoshop that is has good prices and wont add on unnecessary items to your bill. Thanks Matt.

Needed my car done by Friday, had them confirm it would be available by Friday afternoon. Talked to an employee that Friday, told him exactly when I was coming to pick up my car and nobody was there during their open hours/the EXACT time I told them I’d be there. Currently stranded outside of their building with nobody here.

My cousin works for a mechanic shop in Mansfield, and the owner is a family friend of ours...yet I only go to Ashley Automotive in Lewisville for any car issues Ive had over the past few years. I dont even know where to begin with these guys. When I say they are the absolute best, its a fact and not just my opinion...other reviews confirm this. Matt, Phillip, and Jon are not only professional, knowledgeable, and honest, but they are genuinely humble, courteous, and most of all caring. Even when they are busy and Ive had to come in for something last minute, the only response Ive ever gotten from them is sure, bring it in. They make it a point to know each other customers name, and they WILL remember you the next time you come in. They probably know more than any of the big professional dealership mechanics, and they will always be straightforward and honest with what you need and pricing. Commercials on tv always depict a smiling insurance salesman who provides such great service and personal touch like he/she is part of the family only to find out that youre just a number to the company in reality and have to wait on hold for 45 minutes to get through to someone. This place has the best prices on car repair not just that they work with you on payment. I was able to split my bill up and make monthly payments. Phil the owner is a great guy, he will diagnose the problem your vehicle without adding anything extra. This is the only place I would go to fix my vehicle. I love Ashley Automotive !

Phillip was a great help. I had a questions about my cams ticking . he gave me a great answer on how to fix it. I was in and out within 20 min. I was scheduled for a interlock service and they got to it asap even though they had a full house of cars being worked on. This place stays busy because of the quality of work and customer service. Found this place online during a time of crisis when my truck had broken down on the side of the road. The reviews seemed good enough, and so i opted to give it a shot. It was by far the best decision I could have made. The shop is great with updates, work is top quality and are up front and honest about the issues with the vehicle. Just so its known they did an entire engine replacement on a my vehicle. I will continue to use them and refer others to them. Amazing work. I had my upper and lower control arms on my BMW replaced. I was able to buy the parts and they were kind of enough to install them and do an alignment at the most competitive price around. Phil is good people! He always treats me honest and fair when I take any of my 3 vehicles in to him. I would recommend his shop to anyone because when he does work on your car or give you an estimate it doesnt feel like he is giving you the run around and trying to get every single penny out of you. Quality of work exceeds that of the quality of a new car just off the assembly line. Integrity and honesty are one of the hallmarks of this shop. - UPDATE - had a motor rebuilt - there were unusual issues and Ashley warrantied the work at no cost to me - again - awesome shop!

I came in to get service for my vehicle, and I was quoted one original price. The shop only had my car for 3 days total. Everyday, I received a call from the Manager at the shop telling me that the price of the repairs was going up. I specifically told them when I dropped the car off to go in and find everything that needs to be fixed so that way I don’t waste money or have to come out of more money in the long run. Basically, he was just finding small things to charge me for like parts, then jacking up the price by adding overpriced “labor” to it. The price went from $750 to $1800 within a matter of one day. Please keep in mind that the parts probably only account for about $300 of the total $1800 price. This car shop uses the bait and switch tactics on its customers. They quote you one price that’s cheap, then when they actually get your car and start working on it, they increase the price on you and basically tell you that you have to pay for the cost of the repairs or you can’t get your car. It’s sad that honest, hardworking people are cheated out of their money by individuals who they “thought” that they could trust to get the job done. I am completely livid. I will be filling a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, the Texas Attorney General Office, The CFPB, and I will be filling a legal suit with my attorney.

Finally a Mechanic I can trust! After spending more money than I care to admit to with another mechanic, I found Ashley Automotive. Not only did the correct the repairs of the previous mechanic, they have since fixed the A/C on my 92 Toyota Truck with over 300,000 miles along with some other issues that were a little over my head. Last week my transmission finally gave out and due to the age of my truck a new one was not to be found anywhere. Phillip and his guys did not give up on it and got the transmission rebuilt so that I could be back on the road with my beloved truck Ive got so many great memories of.Ill take my truck to no other mechanic in the metro-plex. Even if that means I have to drive all the way cross town to get it there!

The measure of a person or a businesss character is how they handle their mistakes or errors. I took my truck in to them because it was running rough at idle. They diagnosed a cracked Intake manifold and provided an initial estimate of over $900. I was extremely uncomfortable with this as there were no previous issue that would indicate such a severe failure. I should add I have 15 years experience managing a fleet of 60 plus vehicles so it is not my first time around the block. I ended up taking to a Ford dealer where a cracked hose and a fitting were repaired for less than $300. To add insult to injury I ask then to refund the $49 I paid for the errant diagnosis and it has been three weeks and I have heard nothing. I am not alleging that even though they had changed the oil just 2 days before it started acting up or that my IL license plates may have influenced how I was treated, but one has to wonder. The mechanic may have been having a bad day but there is no excuse for not doing the right thing by refunding the diagnosis fee.Gotta say Buyer Beware

I went here twice and they always serve you right away. Their cost are moderate. It depends what you need done. I went there to get my passanger side mirror fixed and it cost only $40 and they did it fast. Then one day my brakes was all messed up and they fixed my brakes plus gave me two front rotors all just for $500 they fixed it within 1 hour. Plus they had small snacks for the kids to eat and that was only .50- $1.00.The fastes time to get your car in and out is to call and make an appointment or else youll be there for 2 or 3 hours due to alot of people that need a fix loves this place. Not so pricey

Very dissapointed. I took my 2005 Jag to get the car fixed after a bad blown hose. I was pretty confidant that my car would be good to go after the positive experience I had with them the first time I took my car there. What a dissapointment. The first time they called me to say my car was ready it was pretty pricey but I was ok with it because they did a good job before. When I came to to pick up my car I noticed there were black stains on my seat. I figured they just didnt have a chance to clean up as well so I let it go. Then I drove it off the lot. I noticed a weird sound and a burning smell but thought maybe I was just being paranoid. When my dad (who was following me) and I made a stop 10 minutes away I told him my concerns. He popped the front hood and we noticed that the plastic cover on the front under the hood was missing all of its screws and it was loose. My dad confirmed that it had a burning smell so I called Ashely automotive and they told me to bring it back in. After a little while the guy told me it was a part that had melted and that he would charge me the cost of the part to replace it. I asked him about the screws and he told me they were all broken off when they got the car (not true). I was pretty bothered but needed my car to go to a funeral the next day so I said ok I would pay it so I could hurry and get my car back. When I mentioned the funeral he told me he wouldnt charge me the part. He then told me he needed to keep it overnight. So I left. The day after they called and told me that the car was ready. I picked it off and drove it off the lot. I noticed a smell but went ahead and drove away. The next day my coolant low light popped up. For the next couple of days I had to keep refilling my coolant because it was leaking out. I called them again and they told me to bring it in again. They called back and told me that they needed to replace the radiator. I was already short on money but I needed a car to get to work so I said ok just fix it. When they called me to let me know my car was ready I came back to pick it up. I drove it home and once again the coolant light came on and that morning and every morning after, when I turned on my car a loud screeching noise followed it. When I popped the front hood to let my dad see and hear it, we found a screwdriver that was left in the hood and the all the coolant was gone. I was so frusterated and finally decided that after 3 weeks and 4 trips back and forth it was time to call another mechanic. This mechanic fixed the leak, adjusted the belt that they did not put on the car properly and had the car running smoothly and I only had to pay $100. I paid almost $2000 and my car continued to have problems!!! I thought the mechanics were thorough and trustworthy but after this experience I think I learned my lesson. 🙁
