Mainly the customer service. Glad I did not get to make an appointment. Before I even got to finish what I was asking the guy immediately interrupted to say the piercer is booked. I understand but at least be, I don’t know, a bit more friendly in turning down people? Just needed 2 piercings removed for an MRI appointment and calling around. Like I said, I did not care and understand the piercer is booked but terrible customer service right of the back made me realize to not go here for any future service if they talk to people like that.

Once again, Skyler was GREAT! Friendly, professional, patient, and sterile. Conscience and genuinely concerned that you love everything about your choice, placement, etc. before he made it permanent for you. Quality of workmanship was A+++ as always. Ciara, my artist was running a tiny bit behind schedule, but her work is amazing and I never felt rushed when it was my turn. She was always concerned with my level of comfort, was delightfully conservatism, and worked diligently with focus on the artwork. Overall, I felt like I got excellent value for the work performed and would recommend.

I came here after having issues with my nose piercing at got from a shop in Houston. I called in dreaded need to get the problem fixed. When I called and described what was going on they knew exactly what I was taking about and I was able to set an appointment for later that day. Because I was so unsure about what was going on I had been freaking out. When I got there a nice, beautiful lady with gorgeous makeup (eye shadow), and attractive piercings escorted me to the back. Her cool demeanor relieved my worry and she got right to work. The problem turned out to be minor and I was in and out. I wish I could remember her name. Anyways, I feel in love with the shop just from that one interaction. Ive been wanting a tattoo so now I know a place to go. The building is kept so nice and clean. Manicured lawn and everything. I went here to get my cartilage pierced in July of 2018. We called and made an appointment for later that day, and the service was fast and professional. When you walk in, the building looks older but clean. Parking is a small gravel lot behind the building-not optimal but understandable for downtown Lewisville.The piercer was fast and professional. They walked me through the process, what to expect and aftercare. They use a hollow needle to pierce and while not completely painless, it was fast and not overly painful.

Cannot say enough good about my experience. Johnny hooked myself and my sons father up with teddy bears. He did a better job than I had envisioned the perfect little bear in my own head. Ive had other tattoos, he made this less painful than any of my others. If you are looking for a great tat, or if you are a newbie, CALL JOHNNY!! He is an amazing talent. Couldnt be happier with his work. Will definitely be going to him for any other work in the future, and will send anyone I know looking to get work done his way.

I loved having Alex as my piercer. And Emma who most recently helped me remove my back and hip dermals was mad chill which calmed my anxiety. After experiencing garbage customer service at 2 tattoo parlors off Beltline in Addison, I knew Id better revisit A Living Canvas from now on and Im forever loyal. You guys saved me over $1000 for my dermal removal I nearly spent at the ER and Emma really took her time taking care of me. Now my piercings are healing wonderfully! Im definitely referring all of my friends to go here PERIOD! ❤

Absolutely amazing experience! I got a cartilage and both upper lobes pierced by Emma, and she was wonderful. I have a fear of needles and this was my first piercing since childhood, but Emma made the experience so smooth and painless due to her warm demeanor and excellent piercing skills. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! Find another shop... I made a appointment last week for a piercing. A day before I received a text asking me to reschedule because they didn’t have any nose rings in-stock. I was more then willing to reschedule with no problem. Then when I actually showed up For my appointment I was told they was close when the sign says Sat-8pm. So I pulled out my text msgs and showed the tattoo artist where I reschedule,she read it and said oh my sorry the front desk girl never made my appointment so then I ask well who is this in text that I was talking to she said it’s me... so now I’m all the way confuse ... your the one going to be giving my services and your the one who text me in the first place and now your the one telling someone else forgot to make the appointment... I drove all the ways from Dallas because I was refer to this place... big mistake and top of it all of this I was never offered to reschedule. I was told to reach out to them on Monday .... extremely poor customer service... it doesn’t matter how well your work is when you can’t even give proper decent customer service (it’s really not that hard) you waste people time and money so do your self and favor FIND ANOTHER SHOP!!!!!!!!

This is the absolute best shop I have ever been to. I have had my sleeve done and the owner kory is actually doing my entire back piece. The work is phenomenal and the patience is amazing. They will work with you and find the best solution to what you want done or fixed. I have also have countless piercings done there and they are perfectly centered and quickly executed. First place anyone should go for anything you want or need.

I too have just read the review left by Chris and feel the need to take time out of my day to set the record straight.My husband and I have been clients for years now, at least 9. We were just in 2 weeks ago working on a half sleeve for my husband with Skylar. They (employees) have NEVER cheated, lied or misrepresented themselves or their services.In fact, Im going to say that they have always been brutally honest with us. When Ive come in with an idea they dont just say 300.00 and Ill tattoo whatever you want in fact.... They have talked out the concepts with us and made knowledge based suggestions that have improved the tattoo and the experience. Because of these reasons and their loyalty to us we will be loyal clients as long as the doors are open.Remember folks, you get what you pay for, good or bad and we work too hard for our money to just throw it away on some wanna be tattoo designs and artists. I have NO regrets with ANY of the work they have done for us and ALWAYS am proud to refer people to this shop when I get complements on my tattoos ( which I get often).Dont let Chris and his fabrications sway your decision on the clean, fair, professional and quality art they do.

My husband and I went there for the first time for a neck tattoo of a lotus flower and an elbow tattoo of an octopus. By far the best place we have ever been to. Randy is the most talented tattoo artist we have ever work with. He not only created my beautiful flower with amazing colors but he free handed my husbands octopus tattoo on his elbow. Really great customer service and everyone that works there are the best people. I will never go to any other tattoo place. A living canvas is the place to go if you want the best artwork and tattoo.

Great place, clean and honest. We had tattoos done with ashes from our dog that passed away. Very simple script that they designed for us. It was my first tattoo. My wife has a few but they made us feel very comfortable. Quality on the work was great, clean lines and good placement. Great local business with a welcome feel and worth the price.

Awesome place. Ive gotten two out of my three tattoos there thus far, great experience. Kory and his team are down to earth, talented tattoo artist who will take care of you. I came with a general idea of what I wanted and I trust these guys to give some of their own artistic flair to it because they are so talented. Reasonably priced and also take walk-ins. I live in Plano and drive out to this parlor cause these guys are worth it.

Emma is awesome! I called concerned about a couple of piercings I got at another shop. The shop I got them done at was not concerned at all and told me to wait it out. I called A Living Canvas and explained to them what was going on and they told me to come in so they could take a look. Emma said the jewelry was too small for my body. She changed out the jewelry to the right size and I’m already feeling/looking a lot better. I will now come here for any future piercings!!

So Chris, I got a few questions for ya...How big were the letters you wanted to get? What area of the body did you get it on? I have seen small tattoos that cost over $300, so I am trying to figure out what would have caused you to be charged that amount? Can you answer those questions for me?Here is my experience at A Living Canvas Tattoo:I went to A Living Canvas Tattoo to get a tattoo done by a horrible tattoo artist fixed. It was really bad and honestly, no one else would touch it. But, with a little hope I walked into this particular shop praying that they could fix it. When I showed them the tattoo, they instantly came up with ways and recommendations on how I should get this fixed or either covered up. Kory, who I believe is the shop owner, took his time and sketched out the most awesome piece of artwork I had seen to cover up the atrocity. Not only was the tattoo amazing, the price was even better. For the amount of work and detail and effort he put into this tattoo I would have expected the price to be double what he charged. He was professional the whole time, and made sure I was as comfortable as possible. The whole experience was exceptional! I cant wait to go back and get another one. Ive always heard great things about a living canvas and even seen an artist at work. So I finally went in to get some touch up work done, and a new artist worked on me. His name is Scott, and hes been doing this for 18 years. He is amazing. Hes got a great eye for design, and his lettering is top notch. Great music taste also, haha. We chatted throughout the session, and you could really tell he put his heart and soul in his work. Also, the best customer service in a 15 mile radius. Best work Ive got on me. Absolutely recommend. Ill be back soon too for more.

I will never go anywhere else for a piercing! My two friends got piercings there, one got lobes and the other got their navel, and they looked amazing! I got my industrial done and it was painless! I was so terrified that Id hear a crunch and it would be so excruciating that I couldnt handle it, but Alex calmed me down and it didnt take long at all! I also got there for the early bird special, and only paid $25! Im so happy with my piercing (and I even got jewelry from them for when its healed, theyve got a great selection). Alex is the best! I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Quality is the key word here. Everything this shop does is with quality service and supplies. I had a tattoo done here about 5 years ago, and because this shop uses the best inks available, it looks like it was done last week.

Everything about my experience was great. I had my navel pierced. They used a new needle and belly ring (both in separate packs that were pre-sterilized) Couldnt even feel the clamps and there was near no pain/discomfort. It was quick too! The only reason I give a 2 is because the aftercare instruction was very brief and I feel they were not as in-depth as they could have been. I must say this was a very sanitary environment and Alex did a great job with placement. It is straight and no problems yet. (one month on as of today) I would recommend this place and have done so, just read up a bit on your piercing and its tendencies before you get it. :)
