Small market. Had rotten fruit sitting outside and a mix of things inside. Great prices though. We got fresh peaches, strawberries anald a cantaloupe, which all tasted great.

I love this place! I’m a regular and the owner of the store is always attentive and wonderful with the store selection. Heirlooms are the best to get here and everything is always fresh. The ice cream in front of the store is definitely worth a visit too.

Amazing local marketplace. More than just a produce stand - you can find jewelry, personal care, dry goods, & spices as well as farm-fresh meat, cheese, and milk here. On special days vendors will set up and you can meet them and hear about their products. Worth the stop, every time.

Watermelons are the best! Produce is good. They need a cooler for some items, start to shrivel after a while. A cooler would help. Frozen items are a bit pricy. Just a neighborhood farmers market.

I love the owners. Love the Amish butter!! I visit at least once a week. Great gift ideas and the food offerings are all excellent!!! Gotta try the ash County cheese!!! Best apple butter ever!!!

I love this little store. Moravian chicken pies, ashe county cheeses. Local made sausage, fresh meats,nuts,dried beans. Stop and look and buy. Worth the trip.

So. Many. Tomatoes.I was very impressed with the selection of heirloom tomatoes, however, since they have so many of them - quite a few were past their prime. I noticed this with some of the other vegetables too. Some looked perfect though and could be kept for days, so just inspect thoroughly if you arent planning on using it that day. They also have a wide selection of local meats, cheeses and some premade frozen meals (chicken pie, spaghetti). Some jams, jellies, spices, teas, sweets like old timey candy and fudge. Also homemade ice cream being sold out front. I will definitely be returning.
