They dont carry Kona Naan bread...and a more pricey than Patel Brothers in N Attleboro, MA and the produce is not great, but other than that, service is good
Well stock but fairly disorganized. Needs to do fronting of the stocks. Sale price are confusing
India bazar is new in this area. And also big one, you won’t see the helping staff here or over the counter. Need more staff to work on the counters.
Cleanest and standard in Dian groceries super market over the dallas texas. I like the lay out and fresh vegetables all the seasones any time you go. Price are okay but satisfactory to pay. Keep it up for happy customers . Good luck
One lady clerk and another man very friendly and courteous others are grumpy.
I was shocked to learn from your staff that you changed again the award points from 1000 to 2000. This the change was done some back from 500 points to1000 points. This is strange and completely irrational. Thanks for corona pandemic gift.
My favorite Indian grocery store..Has almost everything food related we need. Snacks, sweets, chat section, grocery, frozen food, etc.Decently neat and clean.
Clean, fresh produce and Grocery..... this place is well organized and shopping experience is very pleasant as will all of there other locations.
Go to place for all things Indian cuisine. I frequent here and the product quality is good, vegetables are fresh.
I went to Lewisville store to buy groceries on 12/23/2020. While checking out for an amount $38.47 their machine crashed. But i immediately told them and showed the charge on my credit card app that it was already charged to my account. But the manager checked it and told us that the transaction didn’t go through and asked for a different credit card for recharging. So I gave the other credit card . The manager signed the receipt and told the first credit card won’t be billed. But after few days the transaction was approved on both credit cards. I tried calling the store and this store has the most pathetic customer service . So I decided to go to the store and get it resolved. When I went to the store the customer service lady immediately told me that you have to come back when manager is available after his vacation. I don’t understand why if something that has a proof with receipt needs only specific person to address this issue. Think if you go to any store and try to resolve and someone says come back when manager is available. These guys are frauds and I want the community to be aware of double charges. I will writing review on BBB also to teach them a lesson.
Be careful about return policy. They dont accept returns. I can understand for perishable items. What about other items which may be of poor quality & dont work as described?
Clean, well-stocked and found everything on my shopping list and more.
Good indian grocery place.
Weve been coming here for years, prices and selection are usually very good. People are very friendly, cant ask for much more.
Cool store for stuff you didnt know you wanted!
Ah... My favourite place of all time. Since a Sri Lankan, I needed my home stuff for cooking! I get everything here from spices to chillies and more!
Good store, but I had to wait 30 minutes on line to get checkout, only one register open. And all the other employees just hanging out. And lot of missing price stickers on shelf
I love to get my Ethnic spices, Roti & canned jackfruit from here. Go early when it opens or you will be standing in a long slow moving line. There is no self checkout. Great neighborhood store.
I like this place for is comprehensive collection of Indian grocery. The prices are reasonable and you will always find a good deal on the weekend. You can check the items on their website before you make the trip.
I prefer going to India Bazaar at Irving compare to India Bazaar at Lewisville. I feel vegetables at Lewisville location don’t look fresh to me...!!
One of the worst service I’ve have ever seen in India Bazzar, Lewisville, Tx. We did groceries today evening. While at counter paying my bills, my wife took an extra plastic bag as she had some other stuff in car to put in. But the counter employee insulted her saying I can’t allow you an extra bag. Her name is NIKITHA, POS terminal name: Lewisville POS 2.This is totally insulting for a customer at the very first day of opening this store.Aim s
Convenient location for Lewisville FlowerMound residents for Indian groceries.
Staffs and managers are very ignorant. I don’t know how the owner of this store hires the employees. The item was in the stock but the manager because of laziness told me it’s not there even though she knew it was there. I had to search it myself and found it. Poor customer service and when I said that the item was there and why did you lie to me and she started arguing with me rather than apologizing. Poor customer service. Go to another store but not this one especially during Wednesday afternoon. If I was the owner of the store, i’d fire the employee right away. The manager was a lady.
I felt very out of place, beginning with attempting to access the parking lot.
Some days staff very rude same days very nice
The manager was so rude and she doesn’t know how to treat customers with respect. I went to the India bazaar to get ‘Himaj’ for a senior who can’t leave her house due to covid. The price was listed as $1.99 for 200 grams of Himaj. I was buying a 100 gram of Himaj and the price at the counter came out to be $2.99. I told the cashier that’s not the right price. You have it advertised as $1.99 for 200 grams. He took me to the manager to see if she can do something about it and she straight up refused to honor the price that they have listed on the shelf. She said I can’t change the price. No explanation of why she can’t change the price to what was being advertised on the shelf. This was the managers exact response “I’m not going to change the price for you, if you want it then buy it at $2.99, otherwise don’t buy it.” Worst customer service! I was so shocked by the way she was talking to me. She was so rude and disrespectful. It’s their fault that they were advertising the wrong price and she should have honor the price for me.After the way they treated me today, I’ll never shop at this store again! I’ve been an India Bazaar customer for 8 years. And I’ve been coming to this location ever since they opened and I’ll never come back again! The manager was a woman (don’t remember the name, but this happened around 12:38 pm) if the higher-level management is seeing this, you need to train your employees especially your managers. This is not how you treat your customers especially when it’s your fault.
Crowded but great amount to choose from
Great selection! I always stop here to stock up every time I’m in Texas! Also very happy to see that they are taking Covid precautions seriously.
Good one
I really liked this store. Lots of items are cheaper here vs. traditional American grocery stores. Especially the jasmine rice. Friendly, fast service and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The store was clean and well organized. Definitely recommend going here.
A great little store that has so much more variety than you would think. I got some pumpkin, cookies, rusks, and roti. Why is the yogurt in Indian markets so much cheaper here than in big chain stores?! It was all fresh and the store had a very pretty display of Ganesh related items.
Increasing price drastically. We do understand that things are getting expensive but not like increase it every month. Also they had the point system where on every $500 spent you receive a $20 voucher, Then they increased it to 1000 point and now 2000 point, This is a joke, You rather not keep it. Did this increase in span of 3-6 months. ( Looks like a joke)
You will get most of the desk stuff. Veggies and fruits are not always fresh. Saturday mornings seems best time to visit
My go to for fresh herbs, leaves, tumeric and anything needed to go in that New Indian Dish Im Trying lol Make sure you go in the next time you see one.
You get most of the stuff what you need however it feels like with covid as an excuse these shop owners are making tons of money. Will appreciate if Costco can keep more Indian grocery than what it does today.
Overall ok place for regular items. If you want more selection for items India Bazaar or Patel Brothers in Plano will be better option.
India bazaar at Lewisvellie branch doesnt have much Indian products compared to Irving branch.
Great prices to be honest on vegetables and friendly place to shop.
Not a good selection for vegetables. I have found bug in their packaged cashews and sesame.
It’s really Very good for me.
Pro: Good place with customer centric staff.Con: quality of vegetables is abysmal.Good place to shop for only groceries
I really like visiting this store. Its always well stocked with a variety of items that are usually much more expensive in other stores like Whole Foods, Market Street, and Sprouts. Vegetarian options and gluten free options like a variety of flours, fruits and veggies. Store is nice and clean and well organized.
Found all vegetables and spices we wanted. They have most of the brands from India. Veggies were fresh mostly. There is a nice chat outlet also inside! Met my expectations for Indian groceries!!!
Always good people working here. Always good prices and very clean!.
Great place for exotic groceries. Very nice selection at a good price. Highly recommend for some adventuresome grocery shopping.
I used to shop there a-lot, they were good and reasonable. But I went there after a long time but raised the prices on each and everything. They are bit expensive these days.
Customer service can improve the American way. They still think they are in India.
The manager doesn’t know how to respect customers and refused to change the price that was being advertised on the shelf. The manager was a lady (don’t remember her name) and was so disrespectful. She straight up told us if you want it then it buy it otherwise you can leave.
Not good, No more fresh food, Always.....
Verity of Indian groceries in stock
So nice co-operative coustomer friendly staff, all range of products & good rates
After we moved from Chicago we became regulars here. Last week my husband bought some biscuits without checking the expiry date. He was in a rush to come back home because of work. We went to return the the product after 2 or 3 days and they are saying that product is not from their store. How ridiculous it is. We told them to scan and check as it is from their store but they didnt. They were so rude. At first i told my husband to leave it but after i saw how they behaved with my husband i felt like it really bad on their part. I would never ever go to that store again. It is so shameful act. We would never ever care about biscuits, we just wanted to let them know that the expired products should not be sold. We never faced anything like this in any store before. Such a cheap trick.
So many varieties of rice, fresh vegetables and different types of spice. The ladies at check out are very nice.Sales on major holidays. I do get coupon too.I love coming here...good price .Check them out, I bet you will love it.They also have Indian restaurant.
Thank you so much for opening in Lewisville Area.We were so in need of Indian grocery store in our area.We had to drive all the way to Irving just to buy spices. I liked the store a lot. Ive always been India bazaars loyal customer, may be because i get points for what i purchase :) .All the staff working there are always ready to help. They are just simply excellent!!! Good catch INDIA BAZAAR!!! AND BEST OF LUCK.HOPE YOU OPEN UNCOUNTABLE STORES ALL OVER USA!
They usually advertise weekend special sales if they havent done so before through their email service and they even have a savers app for coupons and special offers. Mostly it caters to the indian Pakistani community of north Texas. Came here this weekend and found a special sale on Roma tomatoes, ginger and garlic plus even walked out buying 5 L of sunflower oil.
Not as good as other india bazaar. We end up going to irving to get stuff.
Good
Stopped by to grab one item on the recommendation of a friend, and I am very sorry that I didnt have an hour to browse. Lovely place, very friendly both to English speakers and to the Indian population which is the target market. Loved it, and will visit again when I have more time!
They are taking good precautions in the light of covid-19
Excellent location for spices, canned and frozen food. This is my current favorite location for indian food ingredients that I can’t get at the regular supermarket.
Im not very familiar with the Indian cuisine but I went looking for sweets that are more natural and less sugar. A lot of the people here were very helpful finding some good tasting sweets like I was looking for.
Its a good place to buy all your indian food ingredients. They have produce too.
One star is the least I could give. Google should allow negative star reviews too.At around 6 pm on 3/13/202 the store has a sign that they are temporarily closed for restocking and reopen at 7:30 pm.We go back at 7:40 pm so a ed a doorman abusing customers who had come back after reading th he sign earlier. He was saying customers have no public etiquette and are over stocking and wa as cursing the very same customers because of whom India Bazar is in business. After reasoning with him that we have come back after 7:30 pm based on the sign they had put up earlier. But that guy was not willing to hear people outside. Throughly unprofessionally behaved person. Good luck India Bazar to stick in business.
Conveniently located near other Indian based businesses.Quick service and well stocked with popular Indian groceries and items.Good service and checkout.Gets quite crowded on Friday evenings and sometimes during weekends.
The produce was not as fresh as the one in Valley ranch. Otherwise the lay out was similar. This India bazaar is obviously smaller than the one in Valley ranch.
They have changed their points and cash back system. Earlier $400 spent gives you $20, now $800 gives you $20. Reduced my visits now and prefer to buy at Patel. Quantity and quality is better at Patel Brothers.
Very clean and friendly staff. Fresh produce and great prices
Its very good place for home need things and even we get quick bites Indian food which is also good in test.
Great grocery store for Indian products and spices. Awesome prices and friendly staff.
The produce are fresh & the store is new & clean. We shop here for all the Indian groceries & food products. They do also carry cookwares. They are also putting up a Chat corner, which makes it a ideal location for shopping groceries & a quick treat for tastebuds. I would highly recommend this place.
All you need for Indian groceries.
I live within 2 miles from this place and thank god they dont let us India. Pretty much everything they made available here
A little hard to find items. The staff was very nice except there was a price discrepancy with another customer that was handled poorly. Theres a restaurant inside that had the best samosas in town, hands down.
Nice collection of Indian food stuff and a tiny café that serves lots of fast food!
Clean and well stockes with friendly staff.
This location does not have a lot of options. The vegetables were rotten and paneer was stale.
Decent Indian grocery store. Quite a few options. Vegetables are mostly fresh. Items are reasonably priced. Staff is helpful. Parking is not an issue.
They seem to carry most of the items I usually buy. New development, nice and clean. Can be a little more customer oriented for a new business ! Veggies and herbs seem to be fresh.
A pretty good Indian grocery store if you dont wanna drive all the way to Irving.
Vegetables are cheap and lots of it
This place has all the things Indians want. It is legit 👏
They have fresh collection of vegetables you will find in any Indian grocery stores. The thing I like about this is that they have a chaat stall where you can get made to order Chaat and fresh juices specially sugar cane juice.
I have routinely seen packaged food in this store being expired. But what prompted me to write this review was - finding a pack that had expired. Please - whenever you are buying anything that has an expiry date on it - validate. I have seen packs of food with the expiry date being rubbed off / erased and the packs having no expiry date at all.
Great place to buy Indian Groceries. Neat and clean store. Customer service is excellent!!!!
My first time shopping here was great! They offer alot of natural fruits/veggies and herbs/sprices that arent usually available at local grocery stores and markets. I really like this place! The staff here were friendly. At check out I was able to sign up for membership where they reward you with $20 after youve reached 500 points. I would definitely recommend this place
Clean, well-stocked, helpful staff. One of my favorite branches of this chain of supermarkets.
Ordered chaat specifically asked for mild. Both orders were super hot! My mom was asking a question about the specials and she seemed annoyed. I can tolerate spicy food but added my own sweet chutney and yogurt and it still wasn’t edible! Extremely disappointed.
Always well stocked and neat. My favorite.
Great shopping experience. Incredible prices when comparing things to other markets. If you are a foody but havent spent a lot of time in an international grocer, this will be an adventure.
Decent place for Indian groceries. Kind of congested.
A wide selection of rices
Roaches. German roaches. No play on words intended. Im a biologist. Those were German roaches. Theyve become more prevalent in the u.s. in the past decades.
Great service.Recommnded.
