The tech, Eric I think, arrived per schedule and immediately started diagnosing problems with my system. Quickly resolved non-related problems with 2 zones. Found and fixed both issues. Im a avid handyman familiar with sprinkler systems and could not locate the issues. Eric did it, repaired and driving away within a short time and all the while it was raining. Great guy!

This company gives out 4 hr window - now who has 4 hrs in a given day to sit & wait for a sprinkler guy to come and fix things? Not to mention they have hefty charges and give you all kind of disclaimers to agree to before they even come out.I made a call to make an appointment - to get my sprinkler system checked. Person took my information and said they will get back to me. It took 3 days before she got back to me and that to say their guy(s) will come on particular day within a 4 hr window. I could not take that much time off from my work so I called and talked to her and requested a time where the time-window was less. I had to wait another week for that!! I still agreed to that since it was less wait time. Couple of days later, I get an email again saying it will be 4 hr window for the appointment and please confirm if I agree. So sent an email response back to them questioning the 4 hr window....heres the message I received from her....You are the first call of they day. They should arrive around 9. This is standard schedule email that I can not adjust for one call. As I explained to you on the phone, the first call of the day was the only call that I could pinpoint an arrival time with accuracy.Did you want to confirm this appointment time?No apology for their misleading email. This just shows to go that they are too busy making money and not care about customer service! I will call someone else and even pay more before I get treated like this by a lame company.

I called about 3 weeks ago to set up an appointment for a leak. I had to call to verify if someone was still coming out and they apparently had the wrong email address on file. Someone came out and did a good job to repair the leak. He didn’t give me a breakdown of the costs and said that I would receive an email for the receipt. I haven’t received one yet for the repair and will probably need to call and follow up.I called the next day and Rebecca was going to email the receipt and didn’t. I called back and left a message with Cindy and still no response to email the receipt. I give the work done 4 stars but the office 2 stars due to their lack of follow up. All I want is a receipt and have yet to receive one.I received the receipt this morning. Thank you Cindy for the prompt response.

I was extremely impressed by American Sprinkler Repair and the technician they sent out. We had an extremely rare issue with our sprinkler system where the PVC had a flaw and had essentially warped and then exploded (sending water up and out of the ground, then across our driveway and down the street).Although it took a couple weeks to get American Sprinkler Repair to our house, I was definitely impressed by the service we received. I called to have two sensors and several sprinkler heads replaced; so I thought. They checked every zone first and then before starting work, took the time to explain what needed to be done in each zone. Turns out one sensor was a loose wire, the other a simple diaphragm replacement and most of the sprinkler heads just needed debris cleared from its filter. I especially liked that they took the time to adjust and position every sprinkler head.

We had a broken pipe to our sprinkler system that required turning off the water to the house. We called American Sprinkler Repair in the early afternoon and they were out right away. Sam was our service tech. He was thorough and efficient. Got to the root cause quickly and made the repair as needed. Additionaly he checked out the operation of all spray heads and made the necessary adjustments.I would highly reccomen American Sprinkler repair for all your irrigatiion repair needs.

Beware. I called this company and had them come out. I asked the tech to replace a few heads and to replace the rain sensor. Without my permission or knowledge 19 sprinkler heads were replaced, and a wireless rain sensor. I asked for merely the outside module of my current sensor to be replaced. . I was presented with a 560.00 bill. I called and spoke to Cindy who said she would have Eric replace all of those broken heads that leaked that he took out. She insisted I say that I understood that the system would not work if he did this. I would not say that. My system worked fine except for four broken heads. I paid the bill not trusting that I would have a working system once Eric replaced my original heads. I will never allow these people on my property again. Doing unauthorized work is not ethical. Is it even legal?And, no apology. Perhaps telling me about issues found and asking if I want the repaired would have been more ethical. And, what about an estimate of the cost? And, when Eric came to my door with the bill he had a cigarette in his mouth, blowing smoke into my face. Then he dropped it on my porch and put it out with his boot. Very unprofessional. What a disappointing experience, and costly.

The nicest man came out and fixed everything, from setting the sprinkler program and clock, marking the heads as I requested, moving one misplaced head, locating the head that I buried when placing sod, and figuring out that the reason nothing worked, was that I had cut the master valve wire while digging a hole...and he didnt laugh at me about that. I felt the charges were more than reasonable for how much he had to do to get the system perfected!

The technician was on time and called me before he came. He was very quick and found the problem right away. He gave me a quote, and I accepted. Within 15 minutes he removed and replaced a valve. There were 3 valves in the box, and the wiring was screwed up. He rewired all 3 valves. Then he tested all 7 zones. This was all completed within 1 hour. He was great!

I am a DYI kind of guy, but after having some sprinkler issues that I couldn’t resolve I called American Sprinkler Repair. Because they were so in demand (and my schedule was somewhat limited) it took a while to get them out to the house. But once I got them here they were able to fix everything in no time! The service is very expensive. He worked only 1 hour 30 minuets and charge me $560.60. The hourly price is $105, but he changed 26 heads and one pipe. The parts is over $360.

Technician arrived as scheduled. Did a thorough inspection and test of my system (16 zones) and reported his findings to me prior to doing any repair work. After our discussion, he quickly completed the repairs, replaced 2 damaged sprinkler heads, and instructed me on some settings to improve coverage. Price was reasonable. Problem: Master valve was not functioning, the system would not turn on, and the system needed a health check.I spent 1 ½ hours with Sam Rothan of American Sprinkler Repair today. I got an email earlier this week confirming my appointment and a call this morning from Sam saying exactly when he would be showing-up to the house. When he arrived, Sam introduced himself, confirmed why he was here, and went straight to work first shutting off the system water line, replacing the master valve, and then both testing and verifying everything was working properly. Sam then started to go through each of my 12 zones and checked sprinkler heads, placement, pressure, coverage, and leaks.Sam walked the front yard (first set of zones), with me in tow, as he twisted and adjusted head placements for optimal coverage. In his process, he replaced one head that was installed incorrectly and he found one leak. For the leak, Sam quickly triaged the situation and fixed it. He took great care to gently remove flowers and the grass, repair the line, and replace the plants in a way nobody could tell there were repairs done. He then tested and verified the line ensuring it was working properly.Next we went to the backyard (second set of zones) where I built additions to the yard including planters and an extended veranda. While watching each zone turn on for 2 minutes, we put a plan together to modify three zones to accommodate the improvements. We plan to remove, replace, and add sprinkler heads where appropriate. These modifications are slated for our next appointment sometime in June.After we were comfortable with the plan, I proceeded to ask Sam questions about drip lines and micro systems. I followed him around the yard asking questions and discussing my installation. He listened intently to everything I was saying and my point of view. He answered all my questions and offered recommendations based on his knowledge and experience – which I am comfortable in saying is quite extensive. All the while we were talking, Sam was installing micro sprayers in my new front yard flower beds.Just prior to him leaving, Sam tested and verified that my rain gauge was in working order. He showed me how to use the gauge and how to test it when it next rains.Sam was very professional, clean, and wore a mask the entire time. I appreciate his knowledge and technical abilities. He offered suggestions that were meaningful to my situation and did not try to upsell me. Both Cindy, when she walked me through the master valve interim solution on the phone, and Sam have earned my business because of their obvious experience, very reasonable pricing, and mostly because of the fantastic customer service.

Problem found quickly and fixed just as fast! I had previously had another company to diagnose Zone 3 which was not working at all. Per the previous companys technician, could not find the valve, and said the valve was probably under a huge, mature tree. That struck me as odd. Anyhow, called ASR, and within minutes, he found a break in the wire which now the zone 3 valve could be found. upon finding it, it was a quick repair of the valve, and done! problem solved. highly recommended as this technician found a problem that needed to fixed in order to fix the main problem. that is pretty awesome.

I have used American Sprinkler Repair many times. They come out early each year to make sure everything is running properly for the season. This time I had damage to the system after the storms. It took a couple of weeks before they were able to get there, but when the did they were very professional, and were able to repair all of the damages quickly and at a reasonable cost.

Jose came today and repaired/completed some sprinkler work that needed to be done as a result of some backyard landscaping. He had to figure out the easiest way to go underneath the concrete footings of some new raised planters. He did a great job! My firs experience with American Sprinkler Repair was when I came home on Friday evening to a fountain 20 feet high from a head that I could not get to turn off no matter what. Nobody was open, and I was at a total loss for a solution. I called their number again with the intention of leaving a voice mail, and the end of their message had instructions to text a number for emergencies. I texted the number not really expecting much, and within minutes someone answered my text and was very patient talking me through turning the water off. This took several text messages and almost at least an hour. I swore then that I would use them for the repair. I scheduled the repair service with them just recently, and they were awesome again! The technician was prompt, courteous and very knowledgeable. He knew immediately what the problem was and had it solved in short order. He also gave the entire system a good inspection and replaced another head. I would recommend this company to anyone who needs sprinkler work of any kind, and will use them again if I ever need work on my system.

I was very happy with the work American Sprinkler did for us. Our sprinkler system was apparently installed by one of the previous owners of the property. He must have been seriously inept because the system had a great many negatives to it. The sprinkler heads were set so that the water sprayed in a very high arch sending a great deal of the water into the street and alleyway. American Sprinkler immediately understood the changes that I hoped to have made for the sake of water conservation. They were able to accomplish what I wanted by replacing most of the the heads with the horizontal- spray heads. A couple of the heads were not easily replaced but the technician adjusted them to my satisfaction. I will definitely call American Sprinkler for any future assistance I need with my system.
