I have used this facility (22672 Three Notch Road, Lexington Park, Maryland) twice and worked the same staff member--Shamika--both times. It hit me, both times I was there, that she was the reason why the process was so simple and pain free. She is upbeat and friendly and each time I left I felt more positive and optimistic than when I walked in the door. It doesnt what industry it is, the people are the difference wherever you go. So she needs at least a pat on the back all her effort and generosity of spirit.

These days you forget there are good people and I can tell you one thing Mr. Dakota and Ms.Shamika have been very very helpful and patient with me. The communication and the reminders are so helpful if it wasn’t for them I would have lost some very important stuff of mine and my kids. Thank you guys so much!

This Lexington Park facility is an excellent & ideal place for storage. The entire property is secure and in perfect condition. Storage units are air conditioned. After 2 1/2 years, my items remained in just as good of condition as when originally stored. I can’t say enough about how helpful and professional the employees were at this Lexington Park facility. Extra Space storage is served well by this site and its employees!

The representative at the front desk was amazing. I am not sure if she was the manager or not, but she was very helpful! We arrived after a long drive and were all tired and hungry so naturally I ordered the guys a bunch of pizza and bought drinks. Ten minutes after we got there she showed up on a golf cart with the Dominos delivery guy and brought the pizza’s to us and even came back and brought us some plates and paper towels! She was amazing! The locker itself was clean and easily accessible. It was also climate controlled and exactly what we were looking for. Highly recommend!

Cindy with online services was great, found what I needed and was super friendly. Shameka followed up prior to my unit visit, and was great during the rental process. Clean facilities and grounds, great pricing.

Ease of account setup and access to the unit were highlights in this transaction. They also allowed us to pro-rate the last month of the unit because we didn’t need a full month. Shamika & Dakota we’re both a pleasure to work with.

Checked out after 2 years of storage. The place is clean, very well kept, and very friendly/helpful staff! Would store here again if the need arises!

Nice an clean. The only issue I ran into is you cannot have access to your storage unit 24 hrs. Had I known ahead of time I would have likely got a storage unit where I had 24 hr access. Not a big deal for some but, I am a night owl.

A family emergency required a quick solution for storing our daughters possessions. This was our first experience with a self-storage facility. Great experience overall. Secure facility, friendly and exceptionally helpful staff, and generally very easy access to our outdoor unit. Only other was that our monthly rate went up an extra $20 a month after the third month, which we werent expecting. After discussing with the staff, we understood the price increase, just didnt like being caught by surprise.

Used them for less than a month while in between homes and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service received. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to my specific needs. The facility is kept clean and under a watchful eye to insure no mishaps, which gave me a peace of mind that my belongings would be safe. The managers are knowledgeable and professional young ladies! Shameka couldnt be a better manager for this property. Ive been a customer for about three years now, and the property is always well kept, as well as secure. For the real side, I own a small business who has been affected by COVID. There have been four times where I was unable to get my payment in on time. I made my reservation on line. And when I walked in to the location the lady knew my name and was super friendly. It was a very easy process. I signed a few papers and was out the door. My son even spilled some water from the water dispenser and the girl helped him clean it up!. When we went to look at the unit, it was clean and the door opened very easily. The price was the best part, the first month was actually FREE. unlike all these other places that make you pay for the second month up front and all that. Not here. I paid a 1 time contract fee of $24. I bought a lock from the facility at $16.99, bringing my total to $42.02. However, had I brought my own lock it would have just been the $24 fee. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!!!!!

Cheryl is such a dear she sends me emails as well as call me to remind me that my rent is due. These 2 young women go beyond the call of duty for there customers. Even doing this Pandemic they are always pleasant and professional. I truly applauded there strong work ethic and their due diligence. They don’t try to get you to get a rental that doesn’t fix your needs. Their Customer Service is “ Exemplary .” My mother just recently relocated from North Carolina and she used a different storage company. They went up on her rent and she was very disappointed. So where going to get her a unit with Extra Storage . I told my mom about the 2 “ Wonderful Women who works at Extrea Space Storage.” and how they treat you as if you were the only customer. These dynamic women treat you as family well yet they still remain professional while performing their duties I would never put my belongings anywhere else but with extra space storage because I am treated as a valued customer Miss Shameka and Miss Cheryl are wonderful employees for the company I wouldn’t wanna go anywhere else if they were to leave today or tomorrow and go to another storage company I would transfer my belongings to wherever they went because they make me feel as if I’m the only person that they’re working with.

They increase their rates constantly. They don’t care about their customers at all. No during the pandemic and not now. I started paying 85 a month I am now paying over $200 most recent increases was $80 last month. It should be illegal absolutely horrible company!!! When you call to complain they say corporate will call you but they don’t because they treat their customers like dirt. Stay away or go broke. -10 stars. Just an update as soon as I posted this I got a bogus auto reply.

We love this place! Easiest transaction to get a storage and work with very professional, respectful and sweet staff members. The storage areas are easy to find with ver clean rooms and ways to get there. Restrooms are easy to find and location is also a plus being on the Route 5, close to the base and shopping/eating areas! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! I opened my second unit the other day and was in a huge rush! There was a girl training and her trainer. They were both very accommodating and got me done in time to make my meeting! The facility is always very clean and easy to use.
