The ladies in the shop were amazing and knowledgeable when helping me pick out the perfect wedding dress. They knew just what would look good on me and they were super helpful with alteration ideas and how everything would come together in the end. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish.

We had the best experience at Lasting Impressions, the staff went above an beyond while trying on dresses! I went in thinking I wasn’t going to find a dress that I would fall in love with while shopping for a Black wedding dress (yes I said Black!) and boy let me tell you I FOUND THE DRESS!!!!!These ladies make you feel beautiful and gorgeous in anything you put on, their selection of dresses is amazing and the knowledge they have speaks for itself!Y’ALLL I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!

The manager at Lasting Impressions took amazing care of me. My mom and sister flew in to go wedding dress shopping with me and Candice was wonderful. She listened to everything I said I liked and didn’t from the other gowns I’d tried on. She explained the different types of fabrics, what could be done to adjust the gowns, everything. She helped me find my dress and I cannot wait to walk down the aisle and see my soon-to-be husband’s face!!

I bought my wedding dress, belt, and veil from Lasting Impression in June of 2019. I loved the variety of dresses and sizes they had to offer. They offer so many beautiful choices. Loretta assisted me while I was there. She gave me her full attention and truly listened when I told her what I thought I was looking for. She pulled so many dresses for me and helped me put each one on. She listened to what I liked and disliked about each dress without getting frustrated that I was still struggling to find “the one.” Every time I walked to the mirror, one dress that was the complete opposite of what I told Loretta, I was looking for catching my eye. I finally asked, can I try this dress on to prove to myself that I do not want that style, so maybe I could “move on.” Well, after getting into that dress and walking out to look at it, I had that moment… That was my dress that was “the one.” Loretta was so supportive through the ups and the downs of my appointment! She honestly has a beautiful spirit that any bride would be lucky to be touched by! I even found the perfect bridesmaids dresses here. The experience we had when finding bridesmaids dresses was just as amazing as when I found my perfect wedding dress! All the staff at Lasting impressions are indeed a class act and care about each of their costumers and take the time to know them on a very personal level! First time here. I didnt know Lexington had such a hidden gem! Lots of class and beautiful dresses! Loretta was my associate and she was very kind, helpful, and professional! If my dress is able to come in as expected, I will truly recommend! Nevertheless, any bride-to-be should definitely stop in!

I had such an amazing experience at Lasting Impressions. My mom & MOH came with me but were both late getting there & not once did anyone complain that my appointment was getting pushed back for them not being there on time.I found my perfect dress & even put it on multiple times to make sure it was my dress. No other dress compared.My MOH had her 4 year old son & no once was he asked to leave or be quiet. Although he was pretty well behaved. I tried on multiple dresses & was not expecting to find my dress that day! However, when I found it, there was only one thing that mattered. That dress!!Thank you ladies @ Lasting Impressions! My wedding cant get here fast enough.

Avoid at all costs! This is a long review but it needs to be read by any bride thinking of getting your dress here!I did not have any problems finding my dress here but I had lots of issues once I found the one. When deciding the length of the dress, the consultant (manager) helping me used her hands as a measuring guide to figure out what length I would need. She was very confusing while explaining this and I specifically remembered saying to give me the extra length because I will have a heel for my shoes. We put down the deposit, signed the papers and the dress was ordered. When my dress arrived, I knew something was off as I was putting it on. I shrugged it off thinking the dressing room was just too small. As I was walking out I dropped the front part of my dress and immediately saw my feet. The consultant fluffed out my dress for everyone to see and we noticed the problem. The dress was several inches too short (at least) and you could clearly see my feet and ankles, with no shoes on. After the manager was called down, she repeatedly made it out to be my fault claiming that I told her I would be wearing flats. IN NO CASE DID THIS HAPPEN I ALREADY HAD MY SHOES (Even if I was wearing flats, the dress was still way too short.) Their solution to fix the problem was to stretch the dress with curtain weights. This could only be done to the outer layers of lace, but not the inner thicker layer. After a month of stretching, the outside layers were touching the ground, but there was an obvious gap that was clearly visible between the layers. When I brought the dress home, I also noticed some of the lace appliqués were fraying and 2 buttons were barely hanging by a thread. The store did fix these free of charge after we brought it to their attention, however it did not make up for the other issues we experienced.All of this goes to say, what was supposed to be a happy and fun experience turned into a complete nightmare. I even began to hate my dress because of how awful it looked. I could no longer wear the heels I had bought months back. Mistakes happen and I understand that. But this is not just a regular store, this is a bridal store that girls dream of visiting for years and finding the one dress. Never should a store make false claims to cover up their mistakes, which will be their response to this review as it has been their response in other reviews. I expected better quality service from a bridal salon. Customer service and general caring for your customers goes a long way, but you will not find that here. I chose to shop local, even after finding the same dress at another store. The manager had the worse service of the 3 ladies I dealt with. Mrs. Loretta was by far the nicest lady I met there and I hate that my experience was ruined by the other individuals.

I will not be buying from this bridal shop anymore, recently we order a bunch of bridesmaid dresses from here, and they were all poorly done mine was a lot bigger from the top then my usual size and when I went to the fitting I told the lady who was helping me that it was too big and she said it looked fine I insisted it was too big and she said she would fix it but when I got it, it wasn’t fixed and the bottom part that she adjusted was very poorly done, uneven and it looked like it was done in a rush, now I have to use the dress because there’s no time for another one, they are also very expensive for the type of material they use I would’ve got a better dress from Dillar’s they also charged me 75 for the “fix” Almost $300 dollars for this horrible dress. Do not recommend.

The ladies at Lasting Impressions are so helpful! From the moment I walked in, they made sure that I was getting all the help I needed. When trying on wedding gowns, they helped me get them on and clipped to fit me. They even gave helpful feedback. I also purchased my bridesmaid dresses here, and they were just as nice and helpful with those as well! I will recommend them to anyone I know needing any kind of formal gown/dress.

I purchased my dress, veil, head piece, mothers of the bride, bridesmaids, flower girl dresses and even our shoes from Lasting Impressions. I loved the quality of the products and the experience of trying on dresses was wonderful!I had been to several bridal stores trying on dresses and Lasting Impressions made me feel like their only customer. The staff took time with me and my bridal party. They listened to our wants and helped us find the right dresses. They dont rush you and expect you to fall in love with the first one. They dont get mad when you want to try a dress on again. I would highly recommend any bride wanting to have a great experience in dress shopping to give Lasting Impressions a try.

I went up there and fell in love with a dress, so I put a down payment on the dress and starting paying for it. They put my dress and veil in a bag for when it was paid off and ready to be picked up. When I went back to pick it up there were stains and a rip that wasn’t there before. They said they couldn’t do anything about the stains or tears. They had to of let someone else try on my dress. It’s the last dress like that one. They aren’t even made anymore. To make matters worse, they sold my veil to someone else. Now I’m left with a torn, stained wedding dress for my wedding and no veil. I do not recommend. The lady that helped me was very rude when I came back and was discussing the problems I had found.

Lasting impressions helped me find my dream wedding dress. The whole experience was great. Dress came in time and alterations were spot on. Would 10/10 recommend.

Candice and Loretta were amazing!!!!! I went there looking for a vintage, form fitting dress and a concept in mind. From there they went through their entire dress selections and brought options to my room for me. I must have been there for 4 hours or more. They assisted me with getting the dresses on, giving me feedback along with just an overall happy experience. They even assisted me with making sure the sash for my dress and my veil would go with my vintage look. After I left there I looked at other bridal shops but none of them gave me the attention that Lasting Impressions have. Not only have I bought wedding dresses there but I’ve also bought multiple bridesmaids dress. Thank you for making my day great and for treating me like I was a queen.

Lasting Impressions has gave me nothing less than an amazing experience! They have wonderful staff and really help to focus with you one on one for your special day! They have a very large selection and a wide variety of dresses to choose from. They were the first and only place I went to try on dresses! I am “that” bride. You know the difficult one? Candice and her staff were great and took me in stride! They have a unique way of making your dress your own. I recommend you to stop in and check them out!!

Mixed Feelings | Selecting my wedding gown was a wonderful experience . . . I had so much fun and Candice was very patience and helpful as we tried on a number of dresses that day!  In addition to my wedding gown I purchased my veil, headpiece, bridesmaid dress, mother of bride dress and invitations from the shop.  Everyone was friendly and got to know me, my mother and bridal party on a first name basis.  Once my dress arrived things became difficult.  I had to call to check on the status of my invitation proof, my veil and a pair of shoes for my bridesmaid.  My veil did not arrive in time for my bridal portraits (it was ordered +15 weeks prior) but they did let me borrow one of the veils from the shop to use for my portraits.  My bridesmaid’s shoes were ordered +12 weeks after the dress and shoes were paid for because they were waiting for the matron of honor to select her shoes so they could place the order at one time but my matron of honor was not purchasing her shoes from this shop.  Having to make constant phone calls and multiple trips to the shop (+45 minute drive) was frustrating.  I was disappointed in the lack of clear communication once we made our purchases.  I was extremely disappointed in the alterations that were completed by their preferred business Alternations by Tina.  I was in tears when I left the shop because my dress looked awful and I was not looking forward to walking down the aisle in the dress.  I took my dress to another alteration shop to correct the alterations.  I love my wedding dress and have received numerous flattery comments about the dress.  I absolutely loved working with Candice during dress selection process but once the purchase and my dress arrived I seemed to have problem after problem.  I selected this bridal shop after careful research and meeting them at a bridal show and I was very disappointed because I did not receive the customer service I expected throughout the process.

I have mixed feelings about my experience, however my only other outlet to make contact with someone of higher authority is to call the store. I came to this store from Raleigh because there was a particular brand I was interested in and a particular line from that brand that no store in Raleigh carried. I was in the area visiting friends, so this worked out. I worked with Loretta and she was AMAZING! So sweet and patient. I was looking for an evening gown for a formal wedding I am attending. I tried on several dresses and while she said they were wonderful for my figure and skin tone, the lace and beads were too much for me. She pulled out a bridesmaid dress from the same designer line and I immediately felt like a princess! We were able to zip up the store sample size, however breathing was another story. The pockets also gaped and accentuated my hips. Loretta said she would order the next size up for me and that would fix the pockets too. I was shocked that my measurements were not taken to verify the correct size to order. I put off my questions as I was trusting Loretta, shes the professional. The size and color I wanted was in stock and I asked Loretta to order the dress. Since I was now ordering a bridesmaid dress, I could have easily called one of the bridal shops here in Raleigh to order the dress from them. However, I chose to order from Loretta, she put in the work and deserved the order.The dress came in and I came in as soon as I had a free weekend. Everyone had customers when I walked in and I was happy to wait. I just drove 120 miles and I needed a breather. Loretta was with a customer so her co-worker got me started in trying on my dress. It was still very tight and although I could breath, I said to the lady, Im not going to be able to sit down in this. Her response was, Its brand new and hasnt stretched yet. What?!?!? I minored in fashion merchandising in college and do not remember satin being one of those stretchy fabrics. However, shes the professional here, so I trusted her. I should have spoken up on both accounts, but I will get back to that in the next paragraph. Loretta was finally free to help me and she pulled in the sleeves and said it looked very nice. I asked her about proper undergarments to wear and what kind of jewelry to wear with the dress. It is elegantly simple. I was asking because I was willing to give the store more of my money. She suggested some shape-wear since I was uncomfortable with the way the dress laid over my hips. She suggested a simple pendant like type necklace, but did not show me anything that was being carried in the store. I paid my balance and left to drive another 120 miles back to Raleigh.I was able to find a lovely place to do the alterations. I am glad I chose to do the alterations closer to home because it is taking multiple visits. The professional seamstress was shocked and appalled that my measurements were not taken and the correct size dress was not ordered. She also confirmed that satin does not stretch. They were able to let the dress OUT 2 inches to give me some more breathing and sitting room BECAUSE SATIN DOES NOT STRETCH. Round two of alterations will include taking in the sleeves, taking up the hem at the waistline in order to give me a slimmer hip and to close the gaping pockets. (Pockets on a bridesmaid dress???) Over $100 in alterations later, I will have the dress I wanted, but should not have cost me this much had the proper care been taken to order the correct size in the first place.My second visit did not make me feel like I was being taken care of, I felt like a nuisance. I really want to recommend this place to others, but I cannot. If you decide to shop here, speak up if you have any doubts. If you think they are missing a step like taking measurements, ask for them. Stand up for yourself, if you dont, it could cost you a lot more money than you initially wanted to spend.

Though the staff was nice they didnt seem interested in helping me at all. They did not let me look through any of the dresses and they pulled 3 dresses and tried to talk me into them. They were pretty but not even close to what I would have picked myself. They only let me try those 3 and then said they would save them as my favorites in the computer and rushed me out of the store. Right after I walked out they turned the lights off and closed an hour early. I definitely will not be buying my wedding dress from them. I originally planned on going to Bruces Tuxedo for the tuxes but since its the same owners I think I might go somewhere else for those as well.

I am giving 3 stars because the staff was very kind and patient while I searched for my perfect dress. However the day I came for alterations I didn’t get the same treatment. The alteration lady seemed too busy to take time and find a solution to the fact my cleveage was showing way too much, instead requested payment so she could leave to finish her workload. I was very upset and on my wedding day instead of feeling gorgeous in a dress I paid a lot for I worried non stop about how my bust hung out way too much and was reminding of it from guest at my wedding.

They have a wide selection for a bride of any size and style. They will help you every step of the way and are very knowledgeable. They can order what you need if they dont have it in stock and do all the alterations in house. I am very thankful that I went in for my wedding dress.

Made an appointment. Showed up early. No one had even checked the books or knew there was an appointment scheduled. I filled out the online questionnaire to allow them to make my appoinment more personable and give them as idea of what I was looking for. They obviously didnt read it, had nothing pulled. NOT personable at all. Had a Great selection of dresses at amazing prices. I couldnt get past the customer service to buy from them.

I called and inquired about a particular dress there, and the lady on the phone was very helpful....several weeks later I made an appointment to come in, but unfortunately I didnt make....the next day Mrs. Lauretta called me to make sure everything was okay because I missed my appointment! That touched me so, that she cared enough and thought enough of us (my daughter and I) to call and check on us. Especially since my daughter is sickly, I knew I wanted to do business with them then. We went on 4/2, and although when we first walked in we were not greeted properly (Mrs. Lauretta was in the back), after finding her, the visit went great! The service was good, the other workers turned out to be great as well.....and my daughter said Yes to the Dress!

Very unhappy with the customer service. The alterations lady is ridiculous. $125 to take up spaghetti straps 1/2. She didnt call when the dress was ready, and wasnt there when my daughter picked her dress up. My daughter tried her dress on in the store and told the sales lady that it was too big in the top and puckered. She told her it was ok she didnt even notice it. Now my daughter is in tears and doesnt want to wear this dress because she doesnt like how it feels or looks. We are 3 weeks before the wedding and my daughters dream dress is a nightmare! I notice the owner responds to positive reviews but not negative ones. I spent alot on this dress and expected better treatment.

Went in without an appointment and they were kind enough to let me try on a few dresses! Such sweet ladies. I will be going back with my mom and bridesmaids to try and find THE DRESS!

My daughters went to Lasting Impressions looking for bridesmaid dresses. She also asked if they will do alterations on a dress that wasnt bought there. They said yes and my daughter made an appt to have her wedding dress fitted for alterations. Once there they were treated less than desirable. The lady that does the alterations was rude to put it mildly!! She embarrassed my daughter by asking other customers in the store their opinion about her dress and how it was fitting. After quoting a ridiculous price for alterations my daughter decided she didnt want to leave her dress there to have this lady do the alterations. This was the worst experience ever and I wish I would have been there because Im sure they wouldnt have received the poor customer service that was given to them. Word to the owner...get a new alterations lady or continue to lose business.negative word of mouth is not something you want for your business!!
