Obsessed with this place! She has the cutest and cleanest clothes, plus smocked outfits! The owner is a plus too! Saw a stroller I wanted weeks ago, called and she is holding it for me until I get there today. Good customer service!

I love this place! They have the best quality selection of clothing, shoes, equipment... everything you could want or need for your baby or young children. The store owner is awesome! She is always willing to help you find what you need or help you in any way that she can. I love the new location too! If you have kids, you have to give this place a try. You wont be sorry!

Let me start off by saying this is NOT once upon a child or goodwill. If youre looking for dirty broken toys and $2 outfits this is not the place for you. Smocked and boutique outfits can run you $50 plus for one outfit. If you know what theyre selling then youd know its definitely priced extremely fair for what it is. So much so that I drive over and an hour and a half just to shop here at least a couple times a month and Ive always been extremely happy with everything Ive purchased. The store is well organized, very clean, and has great prices. The owner is picky about what she takes and doesnt. Take it for what it is. However, personal I think its a great thing. Its very nice knowing the owner makes sure the clothing is clean and any toy is also very clean and in working order with batteries. I have personally never consigned here but I have taken home her sheet on consigning with her and thats one of the main reason I love to shop here. I am personally looking for the clothing theyre selling its nice to not have to dig through 20,000 items, jammed packed into very tiny racks or bens filled with dirty shoes with no match. One of her requirements is all clothing should be stain free, recently washed and pressed(if needed), hung up to avoid wrinkles, etc. all toys wiped down, with new batteries, no safety recalls, and have ALL parts. Unlike once upon a child where you have to get one and hope it cuts on and sanitize it from it being on the floor covered in gosh knows what with every kid hands all over after being dropped in to play with the what should be toys that are for sale not a free play area while parents shop. Some people think, kids are kids and kids clothing is going to get messy which is no problem I have play clothing for my child as well but again, is not that type of store. I will say its priced very fair but not everyone. I have bought a $60 outfit for $16 I personally would definitely considered that being a great deal. Some dont think children need to wear $16 outfits let alone $60 outfits therefor I can understand how some would consider it expensive however, I can stress enough if you know what theyre selling and the peace of mind knowing everything is clean and working its worth it. Also the owner is extremely helpful and friendly she is not going to follow you around the store, she lets you shop but she always since the very first time we came in spoken when we came in and helps if needed. The owner always remembers my son and I. The owner was helping me get an item off window display when my son spit up EVERYWHERE, she immediately helped me get all of my new clothing out of my hands, showed us to the bathroom, brought in her personal baby whips, offered paper towels, helped me bag up everything my son had spit up on, we got a new outfit for him to wear changed in at the front counter while she held our things and even gave me an extra adult size shirt she ( I am assuming keeps in the back for herself for emergencies) so I wouldnt have to drive back home covered in spit up. The owner does keep toys up high because Im sure having children of her own she is aware you cant always expect a child to not grab or play with a toy they can reach. I dont think this is a problem at all. I was raised even at a VERY young age to look but not touch I dont think its appropriate for parents to let their children drag out a bunch of toys this is a childrens STORE which yes does mean of course children will be in there but again it is a place of business. We have also called the store owner and asked if it was ok if we still came by because we hit traffic coming in and we were going to end up getting there 10 minutes before closing. She kept the store open for an extra 30 minutes for us. Overall this is a wonderful, clean, well organized, well priced childrens consignment shop. I highly recommend checking them out.

Loved this place when my son was a toddler. The owner is nice and is well organized. Items are always nice and in place.

The store selection is great however her prices are way to expensive to be considered a consignment shop! I feel that Lexington has a wonderful name for its customer friendly store service and the owner of this store is not at all customer friendly. IF she is in a good mood that day you might get a smile from her OR if you are a customer she recognizes who spends money she might on occasion be some sort of pleasant to you as an individual however otherwise she (the owner) is plain out RUDE!

This is a beautiful store! The owner is friendly and helpful. The merchandise is very upscale and displayed in a organized manner. I love all the name brands she carries like Matilda Jane!

All the clothes are $15+ a piece, and the equipment is priced around 70% of retail. So unless all you want is smocked outfits or Matilda Jane clothes, go elsewhere...however the store is very clean and well put together.

Love this consignment shop! As soon as my daughter grows out of something I bring it here, it sells quickly and then I turn around and can get her new clothes at killer prices. Great selection! Everything from Ralph Lauren to Chez Ami to Bailey Boys. I always find something cute.

The lady that owns the store needs a lesson in customer service. She was rude. It was my 2nd time which both times she was rude! I made a large purchase both times. After I pd I asked if she could throw just a wet diaper away which I had put in a disposable bag before hand. Her answer was she would rather not put it in her trash! I will never shop there again!! Then she gets upset when the babys try to play with the toys. Maybe she should get a play area. My baby was in a stroller not running around who knows what she would have said if that was the case. She should be kind to all of her customers! I felt judged by her! If I would not have already paid I would have just walked out. Goodness its just a wet diaper already in a bag. I just wanted to throw it away in her trash can! No more business from me!! BAD BUSINESS!!!!!

Clean :) owner is knowledgable and ready to help. All you have to do is ask. Clothes are separated into everyday and boutique, so everything is easy to find.

I always receive great customer service when I shop at this sweet childrens store! Not only is the service friendly but the selection is excellent. My go to for shoes and clothes for my two children.

Best consignment store in SC and CA!!!! I recently moved to CA from SC and after mourning the loss of Best Dressed Kids reassured myself that I could attempt to find a similar store in my new location. Need less to say, I am missing BDK even more. It is ONE OF A KIND!!! The owner is FABULOUS and the clothing selection is FANTASTIC! Hoping to get a trip back there soon to stock up on awesome clothes.

First time stopping in.. Prices seemed to be a little higher than other places and didnt have a lot of baby boy clothing.

This shop has great potential; however everything is overpriced. I did some price checking after I left and it’s almost better to buy new in regards to somethings. In the past I’ve taken items to cosign, baby gap, Gymboree, Matilda Jane, and am always rejected. Where I understand the owner not wanting to sell items from target, Walmart or Kmart, I found it odd that she had Joe Boxer items from KMart for sale. The owner is a tepid lady and doesn’t seem to like mothers bringing children with them. I do agree with the other poster who mentioned you never know what mood the owner will be in.
