I own a construction company local to Lexington, SC. I have found over the years that when you can have a representative with a vendor that treats you right, you have found the vendor for you. Saying that, Sandra behind the counter has been extremely vital to the ease of our purchasing needs. She is patient with us, asks questions, and makes sure to hook us up in any way that she can. I highly recommend using the Lexington brach of BMC solely because of her servicing.

I purchased MDFSB 5 1/4 baseboards for my entire home from these people. My husband had to drive 2 hours over to Lexington to get them. I called before he left to make sure they would wrap them in plastic because it was going to rain. The woman told me they would. My husband asked them to wrap them when he got there and they loosely draped a piece of plastic over them after they put them on the open trailer and sent him on his way. My husband told them he didnt think it would stay on and he tried to tie it down by himself with no help from their staff. Throwing a piece of plastic on top was as much as they would do. Needless to say as soon as he got on the interstate the plastic went flying off and my husband had to pull over go and get the plastic and throw it in the back seat and continue on his way. Of course it rained so now these baseboards are junk. I called to complain about it and the man told me to have him bring them back and they would re-wrap them. I told him my husband was a 1/2 an hour away from home so it was a little late to get them wrapped and that they should have been wrapped correctly in the 1st place as both myself and my husband had asked them to do. The man then said well your husband left like that. I told him that my husband had asked to have them wrapped correctly and that was all that they would do was put a little bit of plastic over the top of them. He started to make another excuse and I told him next time Ill go to Lowes. These people dont care about their customers at all theyre just in it for the money itll be a cold day in h*** before I ever purchase even a screw from them!
