Dans shop has been our go to safe haven to escape to during Covid. Hes been so nice to my son and hes always up to chat and hang with us for an hour or two in the afternoon. He has a great selection of current Pokemon, Magic and sports cards and we love to stop in every week or two and pick up a few packs to crack for fun. The store is super convenient right off of the Minuteman bike path and we always drop by when were out for a ride. He works hard to make us feel safe and welcome and were so thankful to have Dans shop as a local place to stop in for fun. If youre a gaming enthusiast, this store is definitely worth your time to visit.
My brother and I recently went into Hit and Run to bring back some incredible old memories. The owner was so great to speak with about his passion for cards and collectibles. We walked out with a great haul to start back up our baseball card collection. The prices were great and his selection was worth every cent. It’ll be truly sad to see the day that Hit and Run isn’t around anymore!
The man is a con artist wanted 300 dollars for 89 Upper deck baseball. Which is on ebay for under a 100. Very hard to deal with stay very very far away. Collecting cards for better part of 35+ years never scene any thing like him....
Has some interesting items but few are marked with prices and owner insists on checking recent ebay sales to mark them which makes it hard to browse for anything if I have no idea what hes going to ask for them. Probably wont be checking this store in the future for gaming stuff.
The nicest owner and most fun environment for kids of all ages. I remember playing the pokemon card game here every Saturday morning as a kid, and had forgotten about it until recently. Thrilled to see it’s still operating and I plan on visiting soon when things return to normal.
Tried charging $400 for a $300 booster box,but has decent prices on boosters.i dont get it
Really friendly owner and patrons and a good player space for Friday night magic. Tons of parking and easy to get to. Great player environment for those learning the game or more experienced players.
I went looking for board games and other current item like trading card games. Found what I was looking for and bought the original Catan game and a nine square puzzle on a theme of dragon flies. In a nook of dead-end street next to Sherman Williams Paints. A big building is being constructed near the streets entrance. Very friendly and helpful owner. I recommend highly.
The owner is extremely friendly. He has been servicing Lexington for 25 years. I used to go when I was a kid and recently discovered the store was still around when we moved back. Great place for the new magic card sets and he has tons of old sets (taking alpha and beta). Great selection of Pokémon cards too. They do magic game nights and draft nights as well. Highly reccomend!!
Great place. Fun crowd to play mtg with! Its an excellent place to learn the basics of the game.
Cool little shop! Support small business!
Often closes without notice. Otherwise a great place to find tabletop gaming supplies for D&D.
Owner is really nice, and they have a large amount of games. Great if you are into TCGs such as pokemon, yugioh, and magic.
Local store, has very adequate parking especially to accomodate 30-40 people.Store owner was very approachable during event,Play area is cramped when everyone is standing, but most areas usually are. Area is easy access when everyone is seating down.It sells snacks and drinks but it a 2 min walk from most food vendors.Def going back.Call and ask for specific interests, but they def do store events.Put yourself on the email listing as thats the usually method of event notifications, as most of the events is based of majority interest, which is logical per local store. Wish more stores would do so.
I used to stop by all the time after school to check out the baseball cards. Its more of a gaming spot now than sports memorabilia, but still fun to stop in every once in a while.
Im trying to get rid of lots of old trading cards that I have and I know that they are worth money and when I walked in some gentleman sitting in a chair in another room said can I help you and I said I was looking to get rid of some cards and he asked what were they I told him what they were Derek Jeter rookie card, autographed cards, Shaquille ONeal rookie cards and he just said no theyre probably not worth anything.... He didnt even take the time to get off the chair I dont understand how this place stays in business.... It was disrespectful, and I dont even know if this guy runs the place but if so he does not know how to run a business.... Definitely would not recommend to ANYONE!!!!
Incredibly, this place had the exact, pretty obscure expansion pack we were looking for for a game we own. Owner was very friendly!
Been going there one and off since I was a kid. Great place for card gaming.
I have played card and tabletop games at Hit & Run, and I was grateful that I found this store. The owner set up tournaments, an open play area, and was very courteous when I inquired about products, etc. Thank you!
I come here and people are never there. I signed up for the email alert but I never get any alert. The guys is a good guy but Im wondering if this place ever have tournament events for yugioh. Anyone else go here for yugioh tournaments and if so what day and what time? Ive never been here before and I want to play YuGiOh.
Great store for magic/Pokémon/yugioh
If your main thing is Magic or gaming its a good place. Sports memorabilia is on the severely lacking side.
Lots of card games and assorted sports stuff. You dont really see many stores like this around anymore, so its nice to find one.
Not a sportscard store excellent if into gaming
