What a surprise. Clean and free. Super clean restrooms in the basement. Good information and tons of freebies. I bought a book by George Washington. You can also make a small donation. There are great souvenirs for those at home. Enjoy the grass outside and play some games. Thank you Lexington!
In a resident of Lexington and decided to check out our new visitors center. Some lovely exhibits. If you go, take the wait on the wall kiosk. It was fun!
Clean and has interesting information about the town. More important for our young family, they have clean and free public toilets that also have changing tables!
Clean facility, easy on n off trail
Nice clean place and bathrooms
The staff was friendly and helpful. There was an interesting and informative video playing and a little gift shop. Unfortunately, there wasnt much else to look at in the winter season. It sounded like there were more activities in spring and summer.
Great place, wonderful helpful kind people. Lots to see, many things to buy. Much history. Great to visit again and again.
Explore the beginning of the American Revolution! The newly-built Visitor’s Center opened on July 13, 2020 at 1875 Massachusetts Avenue, across from the Battle Green.
Friendly folks
Excellent job of preserving American history around Lexington. Staff was wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful, and curteous.
CLOSED for the winter...plan your trip carefully
Enjoyed talking to staff... answered all my questions. The display of soldiers in battle was a great visual.
Historically significant and they do a good walking tour that explains a lot. Works well for kids and adults
The gift shop is run by kind people that know their history, and are happy to talk with you. The items were expensive, but you shouldnt expect much else from any gift shop. Theres also a super cool diorama of the battle, thats labeled and has the story for you to read.
Love the dedication to preserve history here. So beautiful
Good information, good books inside, people working there are very helpful. nice scenic walk around town.
A beautiful historic site. The visitors center also sends out costumed guides to explain the history of the battle and the area -- a great touch.
Under renovations til spring 2020 on mass ave instead. Easy to find and extremely friendly staff
Currently torn down for construction but a great place to stop for info and such.
June was extremely pleasant and helpful in acquainting us with the history of the area.
Marcia our guide was wonderful.
Very helpful as a start to Lexington visit! Maps and food suggestions as well as guidance to available tours and docents.
This was a nice visitors center. It also has a bathroom which can come in handy.
Its O.K. the workers are old and its very small. There are items based off of the history of Lexington. The bathrooms are relatively clean.
Nice shop with historial artifacts. Clean restroom.
The real visitors center is under renovations. The town hall is a temporary replacement.
Basic visitors center with a small gift shop. Very small, and will take about 10 minutes to completely tour.
A well funded visitors center. Its very well maintained.
Store is tiny but tour is very good
Historically important place.
Friendly staff in 1800 period costumes. Their Liberty Ride tour of Lexington is highly recommended.
Grab a map while youre there, see the surrounding historic sites.
We only here for few minutes, small but you can read a lot history of revolution. They sell books and some knick knack.
Perfect location and very informative, great gifts

A historical icon.

Lots of history and information
Lexington sucks
Little place but staffed by great people. The older gentleman who worked there was very charismatic and informative. My wife and I were unsure of where to go and he came to us and initiated an interesting conversation, even convincing us to sign up for a tour! The tour was great too, ours was with the younger guide who plays the fife. I am a Brit and thought she did very well to give a fair account of events.
Exciting. Heartwarming welcome
