Honestly this was the place to go… last year that is!! Why did Leslie leave (I believe that was her name)’nxdx? Get her back please! She was amazing plus her customer service was impeccable! Her replacement must’ve been the only one that applied for the position because no one would hire someone that has horrible customer service, terrible phone etiquette and absolutely no training in handling a complaint.. Ive left voicemails and they are not returned. So when I finally got to speak to someone the new lady was so unpleasant and very rude. Wouldn’t let me get a word in and then she had the audacity to hang up on me. So I called back to speak to Ed and he told me that they are short staffed and stressed out so basically I need to deal with her rudeness. I said being short staffed and being stressed gives you no right to be rude to a customer. Believe me I will never be a customer again.

Total Disappointment. Took over 6 weeks (08/18 to 10/05}, USED parts were used for the repair, the actual issue was NOT repaired, lied to, snapped at and bouncer checked me out when picked up cart. Your choice.

I dont think ive ever seen someone drive so recklessly and dangerous. If youre going to drive a truck with your company info on it then learn to actually drive. I watched some one pulling a trailer going around 40mph and taking a turn that fast. Completely missed the lane he was suppose to turn into on N Royal Tower. Went into both of the opposing lanes, slammed on breaks, fishtailed the trailer and almost plowed into a van. Then drove off down the road like nothing happened. I drove behind them until they turned and all the while I see the driver ducking down. Im guessing to grab something. I saw him jerk the wheel a couple of times. Hard. Just not care for anyone elses safety.

They did a great job fixing my golf cart

Left cart for over a thousand dollars worth of upgrades. When I picked it up, the under glow lights werent working. Took my cart back and told they would have it fixed by the end of the day. Called three times and couldnt get a return call or someone to help. After two days of Taking Messages I went back to find my cart pushed all they way to the farthest corner of the lot. (Outside) Completely upset because another reputable company told me entire light kit had to be pulled out because it was installed completely wrong. AND, during the installation, burned out my headlights. This WAS a brand new cart and now facing potential complete Electrical Replacement. A sound bar and steering wheel was also installed and I think correctly. I wont know until I can drive the cart.

Awesome cart shop. Ive been once and purchased a steering wheel. The staff were very nice and helpful. Ive heard great things about this shop and I plan to return soon and give them my business as Im going to be in the market for a new set of batteries. Ive heard they cant be beat.

This place is Awesome!! I have been trying to fix my Cart for two months. I went in to buy switches, and explained the problem I was having and he new my type of cart and what was going on. It just took a zip tie to fix my problem. Not a new carb, Filters, spark plug, and everything else I tried to fix it. It just took a zip tie. Thanks for helping me get my Cart up and running. Now I dont have to walk to pick my kids up from the Bus Stop!!Thanks, Dr. Benson

The owner of this business, Edward Norton, is one of the most unprofessional, foul tempered crooks you will ever do business with. He behaves as if he is doing you a favor by assisting you with your golf cart or purchase of a cart. His demeanor is worse than ole Eb Scrooges ever was. If you overlook his lack of class, be sure to check your bill because you will find he has conveniently forgotten the so called deal you were getting. Dont let the convenience of the location fool you. It will be well worth your time to shop somewhere else!

I will, however, leave another one after I get and use the golf cart.I called Cart Plus wanting to rent a cart and was told I’m sorry but we do not have any left.I replied, if someone would have responded to my emails that I sent over a week ago about renting one. I could be one of the customers that have a cart.Her response was left me see what I can figure out.I called back a day later and she said we have one just give us a bit to get it together for you.So as you can see she went above and beyond what I usually get from customer service reps these days.THANK YOU, LESLIE!

I’ve bought my batteries from here in the past and have had good service, but I recently went there to get several items from them for my golf cart. The owner was work on a Saturday and I’ve never been treated so badly by a business man in my life! He kept waiting on other people as I was looking at items I was planning on buying. He was very short tempered as I was asking questions about parts for my golf cart. As I was asking about a top for my cart m, he told me he had two tops that he had discounted that other people had modified for their cart. As I looked at them I thought I would rather get a new and unmodified top. I could tell he got upset bc I did not get the modified top. As I was talking to him about my new top and color, he turned and said he had other customers that he had to take care of. It made me feel like he didn’t have time for me, so I thought I would take my business elsewhere!

Can’t say enough about how great Shane and the staff at Carts Plus are! I bought a used cart from a private seller that developed wiring issues. They answered my questions, picked up my cart, fixed it in a timely fashion and brought it back. The cost was less than I expected and everyone I dealt with was professional and helpful. I will be a repeat customer for any cart needs!

They were very friendly. Quick service. Easy to work with and straight to the point and did not try to sell me the most expensive stuff. They just wanted me to enjoy my golf cart so I would come back and get more things to enjoy my golf cart even more. I’ll be back.

Finally found a great & trustworthy place for my golf cart service needs. Had an intermittent problem (electric cart) and they found it and fixed it in a day. Had the cart into other golf cart repair shops and they never found the problem. Highly recommend Carts Plus for all your golf cart needs!!

Lack of customer service all around. When I originally went to their shop, there were several employees cussing and carrying on. I should have immediately left, but they were convenient in Lexington and thought to myself “well how bad can they mess up a battery change”. The original pickup date of the cart was missed, so I called to ask when they’ll get the cart. They said “well the guy who picks up the carts doesn’t work for us, and he gets busy”. The person Who came to get the cart eventually arrived a few days later, stepped over the old batteries In the garage to get to the cart and loaded it in the trailer. After 2 weeks of lack of follow up, I called back to ask if I’ll ever see my cart again. They came back with the cart and an extra $150 fee for not turning in the old batteries. The ones that were leaking acid in my garage and I had to figure out where to take them. The same ones their delivery driver stepped over. I asked if I can speak to Shane “but he was too busy”. Lesson learned. Keep looking, you can do better.

The customer service here is abysmal! If you go in while Ed is eating, you will meet with a foul temper and rudeness unlike anything Ive experienced in business. I have never been treated so disrespectly while I was trying to do business before. I would encourage you to find another golf cart place because there are many around the area.

This place is amazing! We purchased a cart from them last December. They delivered it on time and all was well. Last week the cart stopped working and I called to ask for help. They immediately scheduled a pick up. They replaced the motor under warranty, no questions asked, and will be dropping the cart off. Our family is grateful for their help and support. If you are looking for a cart, look no further. These folks are the best.

Shocked by my experience after reading reviews 😕 I rarely leave bad reviews, but if good customer service is a value of yours I can’t recommend these guys. I called to check on my cart and Christy answered. I told her my name and that I was just calling to check on my cart but she was apparently annoyed by my call and was very short and sarcastic in her exchange with me. I asked her nicely if I could speak to someone that was a little nicer and could answer my question. She hung up and phone and continued to hang up until I had to drive all the way there just to see what was going on. When I arrived, Christy was gone so I told the owner of the shop what happened. I was shocked that he really didn’t care to hear my side of what happened and immediately placed blame on me. I had him check his caller ID so he’d see that I called multiple times and was hung up on. I told him I just wanted to get my cart so I could find someone more pleasant to do business with. At first, because he was overwhelmed with customers, he said I probably couldn’t get it today but I made it clear that I wasn’t leaving my cart there and I’d wait as long as I needed to and move as many other carts out of the way in order to get it. He finally agreed to let me get it and continued making excuses for his employees unprofessionalism. As a business owner myself, I’d never allow my staff to interact with my clients that way they do. I understand we all have bad days and they were busy so she was probably overwhelmed, but there was a much better way to handle this situation in my opinion. I’m also disappointed that the owner didn’t even care to hear my concerns. After asking around, I discovered that others have had a similar experience with Christy. If you decide to do business with them, hopefully you’re less disappointed with the experience.

I would give them 5 stars but they kept changing the story about our cart and we had to wait over a month but the workers were trying there best and you have to give them credit for atill working during this pandemic and having to clean and sterilize the carts for our saftey.We got a fully customized cart and the wheels and the paint were just amazing. Would defenitly recommend

I am not recommending this business for small engine repair. I brought a chain saw in for repair; the fuel line had corroded and my attempt to fix it, failed. Being holday time, I expected it to take a bit longer, so it took about two weeks. When I got the saw back it was nice and clean but ran the same way as it had before. Looking at the bill I was charged for a new spark plug and fuel line, however the spark plug and fuel line where the same as when I dropped it off. So, long story short, after two times of bringing it back, the saw now runs. If you use this business plese check your bill and equipment, if you have other options for small engine repair, go elsewhere. I do not trust this business.

So i buy a 4wheeler from my brother inlaw he takes it to this place CARTS PLUS AT 1824 NORTH LAKE DR IN LEXINGTON SC for service, HE pays them 280.00 Cash for the work done to carbs,,,,,,,,,, so when the service was done,, he goes and picks up my 4wheeler and brings it to me the new owner... well the work was no good the carbs leaked gas all over the place so i called CARTS PLUS and they said bring it back and they will Fix IT FOR FREE UNDER WARRANTY so i did three days later carts plus says that my brother in law owes money on his other 4wheeler that he had There and that they are not going to give me my 4wheeler back unless i pay my brother in laws bill ...i will be taking them to court, !!! all i can say people out there do not go to this business they are crooks and dishonest and from what i have had to go through so far there work is by far any good at all ... I WILL BE GIVING FOLLOW UPS ON THIS HOLE TRUE STORY SOON SO PLEASE COME BACK AND SEE THE RESULTS OF THE COURTS THANKS AND DONT GO TO CARTS PLUS ON NORTH LAKE DRIVE IN LEXINGTON SC...
