Walked into the store to purchase kitchen appliances. Greeted immediately upon entering store. Store is bright, clean, and organized. I walked the aisles for a minute and was approached by a sales associate “Brad” who helped explain various features and brands. The store has many items on display and actually had a great sale running for select items.I had not purchased anything in over 20 years—but the experience and product quality is why I came back.

I could not be happier with my experience with Grand Appliance. I walked in on a Wednesday, received very knowledgable advice on various dishwasher options, and the dishwasher was installed by early afternoon Saturday. The installers were also very courteous and professional. All around, the process, from entering the building to the installation, was flawless.

Because of her product knowledge and helpful nature, Jessica made the process much easier for us. She is friendly and professional, and has been delightful to work with. I purchased a brand new $1000 dishwasher back in April - received fantastic customer service in the Libertyville location, it was scheduled for delivery and that went off without a hitch. The real problem started the first time we ran the dishwasher 24 hours later - we discovered that the soap dispenser/Jet Dry compartment was leaking. Called the service department and received the most rude and outrageous customer service, after providing the necessary information to them on multiple occasions, we still do not have our part - not to mention this may all have been avoided if our original service call was not cancelled by them months ago. A manager is never available, when you speak to someone, they do not give out their last names - convenient for when you call back and try to follow up. Over the years, we have purchased many appliances here to help local business, its unfortunate that we do not plan to go back - buyer beware, we just keep getting the run around and no one at this company holds themselves accountable.

I called the store and spoke to Joe..He walked me through the process, but advised they couldnt accept payment over the phone. He told me they could deliver the new Samsung by Tuesday! I went into the store in Libertyville to pay, and spoke with Jessica, as Joe was with another customer. She took me to the Samsung area, to look at the unit I wanted. There was a concern the the new unit wouldnt fit in the tight space in my kitchen. After a few phone calls home, we determined that it would indeed fit. I paid for the new Samsung, and Im anxiously awaiting delivery. I couldnt be happier!

We needed a 24” electric stove for our small downstairs kitchenette. Bruce Shear was very helpful at finding a good model at a good price. None of the 24” models are self-cleaning, but Bruce suggested one with the oven heating element underneath the bottom panel, which makes cleaning the oven much easier. They waived an extra installation fee, too, much appreciated. We prefer to shop local - there’s nothing wrong with Best Buy, Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc, but Grand Appliance has been a local company for decades, so we’d rather shop there.

Jessica was very patient and helpful. Took me into clearance section to look at the refrigerator we wanted but for less money. Purchased three items, two were upgrades but for great value.
