From Scott L. -- I have used the services of the UPS Store in Libertyville for at least 10 years. The stores service representatives are highly professional, courteous, friendly and helpful. The store offers several items which are extremely useful. This includes a large variety of paper stocks, printing service options and notary services.The UPS Store in Libertyville is my exclusive printer for business letterhead and envelopes. Further, my office sends out a great amount of direct mail to clients and potential clients alike. The UPS Store does all of my direct mailings. Their staff works with me on custom layouts for letters, newsletters, envelopes and other items. This staff is always easy to work with, provides expeditious service and my finished products are consistently impressive.

I usually use this store to drop off Amazon items, but today the woman I encountered was soo rude. It wasnt the fact that I had to have the items packaged (per the instructions, which I did not realize since I dont usually have to package them), but it was just the way she communicated it and didnt even give me a moment to digest the info. When I said I didnt want to pay to have the item packaged by them and would take it to Kohls she said I dont care. Just rude. Wasnt necessary at all.

Rude staff. Unpleasant experience. Never come back to this location again

I have been using this team of folks for several years. They are consistently friendly, always helpful -- and usually have great music playing. I can see folks who have stopped once to use their service that have some perceived issue (especially returns -- NO ONE likes returning stuff). But these folks are really awesome. We stopped paying for UPS pickup service and use them exclusively, even though we have the best UPS guy on the planet (thats you Ron!). Five stars!

I encounter a number of outward-facing people on a daily basis- we all do. Some people are not wired to be the face and the voice of your company, and unfortunately we don’t have much choice about running into them. However, for an incredible customer service experience look no further than UPS in Libertyville. Granted that at times they are busy enough to warrant a drive over to Lake Forest, however today they were near empty. After a brief explanation of the services I needed help with, Benjamin quickly and seamlessly took care of both the return AND the packaging of a new coat. I hope that everyone who reads this (and 1/2 of the people who don’t read it- for spite 😉) has a customer service interaction as exemplary as this has been.

The worst experience I have had for a long time. Tried returning some Amazon items. A girl who was there was rude and not professional. Apparently there is no signal reception in their building so pulling up barcodes from emails was impossible. Meantime she would walk away to do other things taking forever to compete scanning. I asked couple questions about packaging and she seemed annoyed. Return took close to 20 min which normally should not take longer than 5.And of course Menager was not available when i asked to speak with. Overall disappointing customer service!

I went there for an amazon return, and the guy at the counter was trying to sell me on buying a better box and to re-print the label. Like I get that you are trying to run a business but like dont try to sell me a box and label for $5 when I know I did everything right.lol, after writing this review, I read the others below it. I would like to echo the condescending and loud tone that one of the associates had.Update: I talked to amazon and they recommended I do UPS pick-up where they would provide me with a label free of cost.

Dropped off an Amazon trade in. The woman at the counter was super friendly, scanned the box and receipt in my hand, all in under 60 seconds. A nice, quick trip!

Another chance blown..... I had a bad experience a few times (literally every time I visited to drop off an Amazon return) a few years ago and vowed to never return. For convenience I needed to drop off a box and was in the area. I was questioned as to why I was dropping off the package when the delivery was local. Are you Fing kidding me? Go drop if off yourself then! Are you trying to lose business? If so, you get an A+! NEVER AGAIN. **Response to owner - NO, thats not at all what happened. I was told This is right down the street you could just bring it there in a very snarky tone... Thats a bit different than your story. You could have owned up to it, but you didnt. Im thankful we found the UPS store in Buffalo Grove - amazing people with great customer service skills. You could learn a thing or 2 from them.

I am new to town and was told to go here to get an important paper signed. It was explained why I couldnt have it signed in a louder than necessary and condescending tone. The form was read out loud to me as if I didnt know the directions. Secondly, I asked for suggestions on where I could go instead, and was loudly interrupted at every turn. The person showed close to no support or understanding of my situation. I did not feel welcome and was spoken down to. Surely not every employee is like this here, but if you have something important to do, dont go to this location. I understand this employee must have had a bad day, but I will be going to the NEXT towns UPS. Ouch!

Friendly staff and fast service. I had to get a lot of things shredded and they did it in a fast and efficient way.

Ben was instrumental in getting my package shipped on time and to its destination. I recommend Ben with my highest level of approval

I love this store! Easy in and easy out. On occasion they even help me with my packages.The perfect drop off for Zappos orders.I drive out of my way to come here.

I felt like I was bothering them to do their job. Than the outrages cost to ship. Will never use this UPS store again.

Convenient, efficient, thorough. Most of the time I am greeted exceptionally and appreciate the friendliness, courtesy and professionalism. I completely trust this location and appreciate there are several Notaries available.

I stopped in this location to ship out a package. The store was very clean and organized. I was immediately greeted by 2 friendly employees. 1 gentleman offered to get the package out of my car for me and carry it in, making my experience completely hassle-free. I received exceptional customer service, and I will definitely be back!

Why is it that only those people who feel they had a bad experience write such negative reviews!This UPS Store location just rocks beyond belief. I have been a customer for many many years for both personal and business needs. I could not expect any more from the totally amazing service provided by the employees. They are always courteous, swift to process my transactions yet take time necessary if other shipping options may provide better cost savings. I would highly recommend choosing this store for all your shipping needs.

Please update your hours on your voice mail and website. They both say that you’re open until 6pm. I showed up at 5:30pm for a package that needs to go out tonight and your closed.

The employee refused to provide services because my face was covered with face covering and not a mask. I came in just to drop off my package and did not need any other services. I felt targeted and humiliated. I dont think I ever return to this place.

This store is amazing. Twice now I have asked for a last minute copy job, one was 3,000 copies and second job was 5,000 copies. Both were same day turn around. Friendly, helpful and gets the job done! Thank you

Dishonest people. Avoid if you have other options. They have a poor rating for a reason. I shipped an item to Canada for ~$40 and was charged import brokerage by UPS for $38 on top of government import duty of $4. I can understand the government part, but the UPS brokerage is ridiculous. What irritated me most was I was not told about this. When I went back next week, the owner Michael refused to acknowledge and said he is sure his staff briefed me. Come On!!! If you dont believe your customer I don;t know how you will survive in this business.Also, if you google UPS import brokerage there are tons of posts around their scam to not reveal this to customers and take their money. I learnt it the hard way. If I was told that I have to pay ~$80 (shipping+brokerage) for a $100 item i shipped to my family as a gift, Id have stopped right there and went to some other place.Dear Michael, please stop cheating customers and try to accept the fault of your staffs when they make one.

I use many ups locations but the customer service and level of professionalism from the manager and assistant manager Kevin and their team is unmatched in the area.Comparing them to the Mundelein location, it’s like apples and oranges as far as the entire experience.

They use USPS service to ship the item, not UPS service. I easily couldve gone to US postal office and paid cheaper price to send the item for cheaper price. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE.

I can go to any UPS store but I choose this Libertyville location because of the helpful staff. I recommend them for shipping and they also rent mailboxes.

Ive been going to this location for years. They are helpful and efficient. Unless they are really busy, Im in and out quickly.

Dishonest people. They will gladly take your money for shipping insurance but when it comes to pay back for damaged shipping they will find the way for not to. STAY AWAY!

FYI, this UPS location is not the building pictured above with the nice brick columns and such. Its just part of the local strip mall, nothing fancy. A bit deceptive to put this picture out as if this nice looking building is what the UPS location looks like. If you want to see what it actually looks like, go to Google Streetview (you can zoom in and find it between Bagels by the Book and Sports Clips). Its nothing out of the ordinary. Other than that, they do UPS things, so good job for them. Stars earned. :)

I wanted to ship a package with 3rd party billing. They told me I had to go to the Palatine store (the only corporate store, hub for ups). So I had to drive to Palatine to find out they dont have proper boxes to ship a laptop. So I ended up going to another UPS franchise and they gladly took my package. So if these guys would have done what they could have done at the first place I wouldnt have wasted my entire morning. Its not like I was trying to use Fedex acct number to ship mg package. Very inappropriate. Go to another location!!!

I have used this UPS location several times, and I have always had a pleasant experience. It is my go-to spot for UPS and DHL packages.

I have a work account for ups but absolutely dread to go to this location. They hold on to their dear supplies as if it was gold! There is no way I can ask for a handful of envelopes so I can just drop small stuff in a box that is around the corner. Not helpful. At all. Too bad its the closest one from me.

I went here to drop off a package with prepaid postage from Amazon for UPS. I went up and handed the package to cashier and said I was just dropping this off because the line was long. He said OK. They never ended up processing it or sending it. AVOID THIS PLACE!
