They did such a fantastic job that I feel obligated to give them a 5 star review! I didnt catch his name... but the man with a black beard and dark hair...was so accommodating! He took extra time to explain to me what exactly was wrong with my car. He gave me a good estimate AND he stayed late to make sure it got done! Wow! 5 stars to Tony Manfre and his crew!! All of us ladies hate taking our cars in to be fixed because we get taken advantage of. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Went in to have brakes replaced, after my dealer told me that I needed everything replaced, quoting me nearly $1000. The staff showed me that I in fact had plenty of pads left on both axles, as the manager stated, I, in good conscious cannot do work or sell you something that you dont need. This impressed me, as it is hard these days to find honest businesses. After more talking and me explaining what was happening to the car when I braked, they determined the rotors may be more of an issue than first thought. Again, their honesty shown through when they could have swindled me to have both axles replaced, when in fact I only needed the front done. They use great product and were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this service shop.

Got my brakes done a couple weeks ago and came back for some other work today. Great guys with a clean shop. Anthony was super polite and helpful. Great personality and seems like a great asset to the shop!!

I really appreciate the effort these guys made to help me out. I needed a new tire yesterday and I didnt have an appointment. They got me in and the 2 tires I needed were in tiffin. They schedule me for today and the employee (I think his name was Andrew) brought the tires in with him so that I could get my van repaired. I cannot imagine that most people go above and beyond like that. Even the staff member that checked my tire pressure was super friendly. Will definitely be back, thanks guys!

Just came back from the most amazing experience that I have had with a service repair place ever. I felt so much trust and mutual respect as they showed me what was going on with my car and explained in laymans terms how they are going to fix it. Sarah did an amazing job repairing my car under the guidance and supervision of Tony. Prices were very reasonable and they did not quit until they were done and felt she (my car) was safe. My car had a preexisting condition when I came in and they told me how bad it progressed as I didnt even tell them the condition of the bearing in the first place. Time flew by as I talked with Tony who does an amazing job teaching and managing his employees. They should all be proud of their work and I will continue to go back there for my servicing needs. This is a good, honest business that truly wants to help people over profit and it shows.

These men were great! Another shop told me I needed tires when I kept losing air in one tire. I got new tires and still had the problem! I took it to these gentlemen and they fixed it right away. Great atmosphere, with very kind people! Even my 3 year old had a blast while we waited!

I went in to get my brakes done as I thought they needed replaced. Come to find out the mechanics let me know I still had plenty of padding left. They could have taken advantage of me and they didnt. They even brought me in to take a look at them. Very respectful and honest I would highly recommend.

Took longer than the time frame they quoted. Was highly satisfied with seeing the shop worker through the glass doing everything right. Witnessed them torque the tire lugs to spec after they fixed my tire.

Fast, friendly, affordable and reliable. I like that the staff is always very straight forward about what has to be fixed and they are upfront about cost. They do not hassle you or try to push you to get unneeded work done. The staff is always helpful and willing to answer questions. I have always been able get in and get service or repairs completed quickly. I highly recommended this business for service, maintenance and repairs.

My husband is a mechanic and we were having truck issues but we were a long ways from home and he did not have tools. So we called hoping to get a estimate for what he knew was wrong with the truck.. the service representative would not give us a quote unless we brought the vehicle in. So we chose to go with a shop that was closer and willing to give us a estimate over the phone.

I have been to Monro twice so far since Ive moved to Ohio and its now the ONLY place I will take my car to get worked on. Being a young women, Im terrified of getting scammed when it comes to my car. I dont know much about them. However at Monro, the guys there are always so kind and patient! They dont care about the money, they truly love the work that they do. This is definitely the place to go! Thank you guys so much for what you do!

I went into Monro to have a wheel alignment done under the impression that I would be working with communicative mechanics that were good and honest people. This was not the case as nothing was fixed after the alignment, and I am still waiting to here back from the District Manager for a refund. Take your business elsewhere.**UPDATE**I am upping my review from 1 to 2 stars due to Monro responding to my review looking to remedy the situation. After attempting to call twice, I got no response. They ended up sending a check that only covered about 2/3 of what the cost of the repair was. I would still recommend taking your business elsewhere

Very professional they did my alignment since I got 2 brand new tires.

I have trusted my ‘05 Tahoe with the Lima Monroe over the years, and I’ve been very happy with their service, prices and honesty. I had another good experience again today - took Tahoe in for an oil change and safety check, and service manager Tony did a wonderful job explaining repairs that needed to be done and the priority/ urgency for how the items should be addressed. He even printed a picture of the engine diagram to show me the gasket that needed to be replaced to help me better understand what that repair job entails. I will be scheduling that work in the coming months and will continue to use Monroe to help me extend the life of my Tahoe and keep it running strong! I definitely recommend the Lima Monroe location - keep up the good work!

I had been driving and heard something that sounded like a stone rattling around in my tire plate. I went to multiple different repair shops that were either closed or were too busy to take 5 minutes to look at my car. When I went to Monroe Muffler Brake and Service they took my car right in and fixed it within 5 minutes when I was in a pinch. 10/10 service. Thanks Steve you were the best!

I needed brakes, calipers and rotors. I called several places with long wait list and or ridiculous prices. I called monro auto on Elida road.They not only told me to bring it right up, they did a free inspection first then got it right in.. price was very reasonable the employee were very nice and professional.

They was able to get my truck in a hour before my appointment and get the parts that they needed in about a hour. They are willing to work with you for your needs

They seemed so friendly and honest! I had them fix my rear brakes and rotors on an emergency kind of basis. Four days later my check engine light and oil light come on. I stop and popped the hood and discover my oil cap is out and sitting under the windshield wipers. Oil is all over the place as I had traveled a lot over the weekend (the reason I needed brakes fixed quickly). I did not have my oil changed at the time. There was no reason to open my oil cap. Only reason people seem to come up with is that this was an old mechanic trick to get me to return and spend more money. Funny thing is I liked them enough I would have returned but not with this happening.

Got brake pads and rotors done in late October. Rattling is heard and seen when I use my brake pedal. I know that its either the wrong size of the brake pads or they were put on wrong. They want to take my car apart at my appointment because the guy said the sound is coming from the back of the car. I dont trust them to take my car apart but low on money when this cost me over $300 and cant go anywhere else to fix monros mistakes. I dont want them to create more problems by taking my car apart. They are known to say many different things wrong with your vehicle. I will not be going back after the brakes are fixed.

I had an appointment 11/13/19 at 10 am to change the tire. my pick up only enter in garage at 10h45. It took 2h to change my 4 tires. The mecanic guy always stop for using this cell phone. I pay 85$ and was given my keys. Just before leaving I saw a mounted tire with the direction of inverted rotation. I gave my keys back to the menager. finaly I lost 3h for change my 4 tire.

I thought something was wrong with my car after going off the road in the recent snow storm. I brought it to the guys at Monro, and they got me in right away. They let me know that nothing was wrong, there was just excess snow locking up my wheels. They took the car for a drive to make sure that fixed the issue, and then didnt charge me for their efforts. They were the brightest part of that awful day.

Dealt with Ron while at the shop. He was really nice and helpful! Definitely will be coming back anytime my car needs worked on!

I initially went for an oil change and was very satisfied. I got there about half an hour early and because they werent busy they got to it right away. Since then, Ive had exhaust work done. They showed what needed to be done and explained why. Ive also had front tires put on. Every time they have been quick and always give a great price. If you dont have a coupon they will look for some. They have always made me feel like a valued customer and any time I need work done theyre the first place I call.

Went in to have a brake line replaced. All seemed well until 2 months later when i again have a brake line go out. I returned there and they inspected it and said it was another brake line and it was not there fault. Perhaps this is true but how they dont see a rusted or wearing brake line is beyond me on a car thats over 15 years old. and i would not expect them to admit fault either way. The fact that the parts and labor were expensive and then only 2 months later the same problem occurs shows that Monro Auto is incompetent and would highly suggest you go someplace else.

Since I can never so much as talk to anyone on the phone I guess I cant review how their services are.Phone rings. A recording announcing that it may be recorded. A beeping noise. Then a click and its disconnected. Oh well, Ill take my repair needs elsewhere.

They were able to get me in quick even when I didn’t have an appointment scheduled. I have trusted Monro with my families cars for years. Their service never disappoints!

This place doesn’t pay there technician that’s why the go Thur so many plus they’ll lie about stuff being wrong with your car or truck!! Most of the good reviewers that have good post on here about the Lima Ohio monro are or was employee that work even there families and friends post on there reviews on here it’s company policy

Highly recommend this location and a gentleman named David. I believe the manager or asst manager. I was in a bind with my work vehicle and not only was it cheaper than anywhere close, but the service made me feel at home.

While the staff was friendly enough, what lost me was how ridiculously over priced their parts are. I was fortunate enough to have friends inform me that what Monro was charging me for parts was way too much. If it hadnt been for them, I might of paid hundreds too much. if you are brave enough to go here, get a written quote before doing any work, and compare that quote with what other places are charging for the same part. It pays to do the homework. I saved over $200 going somewhere else. I would not recommend using monro.

Went here to get my oil changed and very affordable, fast and they have a comfortable waiting area with free WiFi. I went back to them a second time after my car was rear ended sures that something major with the transmission and even brakes was wrong my car, they were honest not trying to gouge me for my hard earned money and told me my brakes and transmission looked fine. I was shocked. Cuz I was sure it was running not so good. They even test drove it for me because I was so sure they were wrong. So they could experience what I was hearing with my car. Turns out I just worry about every little noise or sound, literally. They didnt find that my struts might need replacing soon. And the guy that told me this even redirected me where to go that was cheaper than what they would charge me. Which to me shows honestly and they care about their customers. Thanks Monroes!

Really nice people, but they obviously dont know what they are talking about. Took my truck in to get a blown brake line fixed, they told me that it would be $300 to fix one break line (Which is outrageous), going from the drivers side to the passenger side on the front. He also told me that multiple other things needed replaced, including the calipers and other various brake system parts. So i told him thanks for looking at it but i wanted another opinion. Once i got it home, i looked it over myself and that wasnt even the line that was blown. So in other words they wanted to charge $300 to fix something that wasnt even broken. Also, most of the other parts that he said needed replaced were perfectly fine. What a joke, ill never go there again. Just know what you are going in there for, and dont let them try to convince you that you need more work done than your actually do.
