I give 3 stars because my waxer is good, but the front desk and customer service is horrible. They do not stick to their 9 minute late policy. I was scheduled and they canceled on me due to a storm, so when I reschedule I did for myself and a friend. When a place is good I always try to bring them people.Anyways the day of our appointment they called and said the waxer had an emergency. This call was at 1520. We rebooked for 1630 since which was for my friend and 1715 for myself. We badly needed the appointment with us being canceled the last time. We literally parked the car at 1638 and walked in at 1639 and the receptionist told my friend that she missed the 9 minute grace period. WHAT 9 minutes and few seconds to late for them I guess. It’s not 9 minutes then they should tell you “oh if you come in on the 9th minute we won’t see you”. Now mind you my original appointment that they canceled for the storm was 10/25/21 and rescheduled for 11/1/21. Now have to wait to get waxed at a later date. All we customers ask is be more informative and detailed in what you are actually saying. SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY! Ok

Ashlen was amazing.u wouldn’t believe she has only been doing it a year. She is a natural at her work. And she makes sure she gets every hair. She did things the average waxer won’t do. Amazing experience. It may feel ackward 😂😂😂 but believe me she’s just trying to do her job. So please don’t feel violated. And she’s super sweet. I wish I lived in Jersey she would be the only one I go to for the rest of my days. Very very very happy with her.

Someone had told me about the European Wax Center and I was like I hesitated that I wanted to go at first. I went with my own good and instance and. I really like that it was fast and the staff is so nice to you and you. I will definitely be back real soon

I had an appointment for 12pm which I arrived at 11:55am. The manager let me know there would be a wait because the waxer is backed up and the wait would be for 15-20 minutes, I said well I have a 12 pm appointment and the manager reiterated that the waxer was backed up I said fine no problem. I let them know I would be back within that time frame. While in target which is less that .02 miles away from the Edgar road location I got a call at 12:12pm letting me know that the waxer would be ready to see me in the next couple of minutes and that I should hurry back because the waxer would also be taking lunch soon and she wouldn’t want the waxer to not be able to see me. I was appalled I was early to my appointment told to wait then rushed back or my consequence was I wouldn’t be seen. Anyways I hurriedly left target and returned exactly at 12:20pm. I was told by said manager who called that I the waxer would be right out. About 5 minutes later a 12:30 appointment for the waxer walked in they told her the same thing that it would be a 15-20 min wait. At this point it clicked how and why was I rushed to come back to avoid not being seen due to the waxer lunch break but there was an appointment right after me. Unprofessional establishment

Horrible customer service. Was kept on hold for 20 minutes and the hung up on. When I called back, I was placed on hold again. So I went there as Im right down the street and they were so rude and told me to try to call first next time after I explained what happened. Hood and ratchet. Went to the one in Woodbridge and they are FABULOUS!

It was good, it could have been great if they werent rushing to get the next customer. After all 15 minutes is really not enough to provide excellent service.

This was my first time getting a bikini wax so I didn’t know what to expect. My appointment was booked with Alex and she made my experience amazing. She walked me through the process and made me feel very relaxed. I’m extremely happy that my first experience was a good one. I already made my next appointment. The staff there was also a delight, pleasant and made me feel welcomed. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

My girfriend went to this place for a full arm wax session however they only did a half arm wax. This is not cool, she had already paid for the full arm wax. This is the only place where she has faced this issue. When you pay for certain product you expect to be compensated the same. This is absurd!!

I didnt have an appointment scheduled and called to see if there were any cancelations for today and to my surprise there was so they scheduled me with Ashlen. Ive been waxing with EWC for about 5-6 years and never had I had a waxer make sure every hair was removed, like every bit! She really took her time and was thorough. This was my first time with her but it most certainly will not be my last! I will continue scheduling my waxes with her!!!!! Thanks again girl!

Diana was my wax specialist yesterday, and she did one of the most amazing jobs that I have ever had with the company before. The biggest thing for me is when she did my eyebrow service, she stuck to the procedures without a flaw and I for once in my whole life didnt break out in a histimine reaction on my brows! I couldnt be any happier!The whole center was super clean and friendly, and Im excited to go back!

They put you on hold and hang up on you. I just called 16 times. How do you make an appointment to get serviced when you can’t even get them on the phone?? Horrible communication. I’ll just go to the garwood location. Linden is REAL GHETTO for that.

Establishment is clean. Staff is always courteous. Their services are a bit on the pricey side. I prefer to go to my local spa for wax services at more than half the cost.

The women who did my wax was very friendly and was very gentle . she explained everything she was doing and explained what the products she was applying do. She was quick and listened to my needs and even helped me with ingrown hairs. She gave me advice on how to care for my skin and hair growth because I have extremely curly hair. The front desk staff was friendly and explained all the information to me and gave me helpful suggestions. I felt welcome and the gave me a complimentary gift at the end skin cream for my face . did I mention my eyebrows were free because it was my first time ! Feel free to use my name as a referral, for every friend you refer you get a $10.00 credit to your account !!! If you buy a package they give you a discount for students, brides,ect. Love this place! Love that they take the time to care for your skin unlike a regular nail salon.

The place is neat. the girls are friendly and professional and the waxers do a really good job. They usually meet your appointment time, but once in a while they run behind schedule, which messes up your own schedule. Other than that, I really like the Linden location.

If I could give negative stars I will. The manager Stephanie is a the worst manager I’ve ever encountered in life. She refused to give her name when first asked. She is unprofessional, vile and needs some serious training. The EWC brand is being tarnished by this woman. I will be filing a complaint with corporate. Go here if you want to be disrespected and giving attitude. That is all she has to offer.

This was my first wax ever. I was a little nervous but the ladies there made me feel very comfortable. She talked to me the whole time to keep me distracted from the pain which was very helpful. I will definitely go back.

Ok this is my first time getting a wax and tries European Wax because first time guest get complimentary wax reserves including bikini line. Once I arrived I confirmed I was a first time guest and I was there for the complimentary bikini wax. They were very friendly. I walked in the lady inside was awesome. She did so this is your first time. She made me feel so comfortable, was very caring and explained the whole procedure. When asked what I was getting i said the bikini line, she responds Brazilian bikini. Again I’m a first timer had no idea what the difference was. Anyhow got through the process. Definitely painful but she definitely made the process so much easier. Once I go to front desk to schedule follow up appt. I ask if I could tip with card she says yes. When I go to confirm total it says $32 dollars. I quickly told the girl in the front that the total was wrong I was just tipping her. She goes to say oh no it’s that you got the Brazilian. I respond on the site and confirmation it said my service today was complimentary. She goes yes and bikini line but the Brazilian is not included. I go on to tell her that’s not what I asked for and that even if that was the case I was never advised of a cost. She continues and says wells since it’s your first time you get half off. This girl obviously was not understanding my frustration on why I was even paying anything in the first place. Truly disappointed.

The waxer that waxed my face was named nya. she burned and ripped some of my skin off on my upper cheeks. she was very rough when applying on my skin and brought the wax way to close to my eyes which hurt so bad. also before applying the wax she blew on it with her mouth before placing it on to my face. very unprofessional and unsanitary.

First brazilian wax ever and I was terrified. I had googled and watched you tube videos which only made me more nervous. but I said F... it .Ill go worse comes to worse ill .Ask them to stop So I get there front staff ladies were so nice and then Shavon my waxer called me in . she was amazing. The process was quick. Not as painful as i expected she talked me thru the entire process and made me fell very comfortable despite me laying there VERY exposed. bye bye razor .

Ive been visiting this wax center since November of last year. My wax technician Diana is amaaaazing, no complaints about her. But the manager, Stephanie Madera, is totally unfair and unprofessional. She decided to restrict my account because one of her employees rang another guests credit card under my account. So, whos fault is that? Now, the manager is telling me that I owe a balance of $150. SMH! Mind you, I purchased their wax passes (and still have some left) to use on all my visits. So, why should I be held responsible for their mistake? THEY should reimburse the other guest for the $150 they took from their account without permission and use one of my wax passes to cover my visit. This is the 2nd incident Ive experienced in this location and will NEVER RETURN AGAIN!

Wonderful first time experience there . First of all I went to Europian Wax Center located in Linden NJ . EWC it self has great location at local shopping plaza near all the stores restaurants near by coffee place and hotel so thats a big plus. So if you are local state resident or you travel location is really good because afterwards you can grab a coffee or simply go shopping . Lets talk inside the EWC. First of all very nice clean and cozy looking place. I booked my appointment over the phone with very nice front desk lady who was very professional and nice .. and I was ready for my little adventure there.Here I come - I was welcomed with a big smile very professional customer service. Since I didnt have any preferences as far as who is going to waxing I was introduced to wonderful young lady Lindsay and BINGO ! Very professional lady she made me feel very comfortable and she was absolutely fantastic . I was very pleased with her hard work . Lindsay is great friendly and carrying but absolutely professional. I already booked my next visit with her. ( Thank you Lindsay ) . Overall I was very happy with my visit . Great atmosphere and customer service . It was my first time there but it was great not only because everything above but also because a nice surprise... First -time guest I got my brasilian waxing done for half price I couldnt be more happy ! I also bought Smooth Me -ingrown hair serum there to enjoy my revealing beautiful skin. I definitely recommend Linden EWC. So I am looking forward to visiting it again . Thank you .
