This is not the place to bring a small, older model outboard for repair.Asked if they could give my 1992 25 hp a check up and repair and they were not at all interested. They said they had issues with past customers not wanting to pay the diagnostic fee and were then left with the motor.Just giving a heads up to anyone who might be considering doing the same.
Mark is a good mechanic with good pricing BUT he has an attitude problem and parking problem. I was told to drop off my boat an the day of i called a few times to confirm with no response or call back. I took the boat like i was told to do. I get there an he is mumbling saying i dont know what this guy is doing here an continues to work on a boat ignoring me. Tells me i wasnt suposed to be there an to come the next day. Guess what its monday an never got a call back or anything. You lost my service an the service of the few people i referred to you.
This mechanic shop is a complete scam. The only way they would even offer to help me with my minor mechanical issue was for me to winterize my boat with them as well, which was also a real ripoff of a price. Instead of trying to help a customer in need, they really tried squeezing me dry. The older lady on the phone was real unprofessional and nasty. I was real polite the entire time just asking questions about the costs of everything and she hung up on me saying I’m wasting her time. I don’t ever leave reviews for anything but I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life from a supposedly reputable place and I would never do business with these people
Responding to Mariann. I would first like to say no wonder you have a higher than expect rating when you leave your own company 5 star reviews to outweigh all the negative comments. But regardless. I was standing next to my husband (Anthony) while he was speaking with you on speaker. This woman did not explain that the $100 charge would be applied towards the work done. & my husband asked if this charge was refundable because the only time they had available to work on the boat was weeks from now and my husband was worried that if the temperature drops he would have to winterize the boat himself to avoid damage to our boat - common sense. But when he asked this question she became extremely hostile and instead of answering his question she said go somewhere else and SHE HUNG UP ON HIM. My husband was nothing but nice & just asked an innocent question and he was treated with such disrespect. Mariann -If you pride yourself on your customer service I feel sorry for your customers. We never leave reviews but this lady upset us so much with her terrible attitude that we felt we had to warn others. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!
MADE A APPOINTMENT AND BROUGHT OUR TERRIBLE RUNNING 50 HP EVINRUDE INTO THERE SHOP ON A FRIENDS SUGGESTION.EXPLAINED TO MARK AND MARYANN ON WHAT WAS GOING ON AND WHAT WE DID AND HE SAID HE WILL LOOK INTO THE RUNNING ISSUE.WELL AFTER TWO DAYS HE CALLED AND SAID IT WAS DONE.WELL IT WAS DONE REAL FAST AND FOR A RESONABLE PRICE.TOOK IT OUT FOR A TEST RIDE AND RAN PERFECTLY.CANT THANK ELIZABETH MARINE ENOUGH FOR THERE HONESTY AND QUICK TURNAROUND.WELL IM A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE AS LONG AS I OWN A BOAT,THANKS AGAIN!!!!!
I pride myself on my relationship with all my customers and that is why after 32 years we are still getting repeat customers and many referralsand to the customer who said you had to call police how about saying you refused to pay the diagnostic fee which was explained to you when you brought the motor in, you were told there was a $100.00 fee and if work was done it would be waived and when you said to could not afford you refused to pay the fee but wanted your motor so yes the police were called and they told you if you want motor you have to pay, you refused and went away angry. Also to the gentleman who said we would not do work unless we winterized, you said you had a timing issue and I explained that right now we are only doing winterizing and shrinkwrapping and you said ok can you winterize but I dont want to pay for an oil change which is part of winterizing and I said ok and you also agreed the timing issue could wait until spring When I told you there was a $100.00 deposit required to hold the spot which would be credited to the winterizing job than you said if I cancel do I get my money back and I said no because the purpose of the deposit is if you dont show up someone else could have that spot and you hung up on me . Most importantly we realize in the service industry it is literally impossible to please 100% of the public, we can only try our best and I believe that is what we do.
Always very helpful
I had to call Police on them. They are real crooks, beware. They add hidden fees and dont tell you ahead.I would give 0 if I could. No respect to customers.
Very friendly staff. They were very honest in the repairs that needed to be done. The work was completed when they said it would be and at a fair price. very hard to find this kind of service now a days.
Just ran my outboard after 1 year sitting after Elizabeth marine fixed carb and coil issues . Motor runs like brand new great crew would highly recommend.
I want to say Maryann is so helpful, great help over the phone and I will be using them for my boat needs. Great customer service
The best! They get the job done and do it right!
I had my outdrive serviced there after I had a leak in my bellows. Mark showed me all the old parts and the damage that was done. He also installed a new shift cable. The work was done as estimated and was done in a timely manner. I highly recommend Marks service!
Great people. Work done ahead of schedule and on budget. No need to go anywhere else!
To the person who said we sold an expired fiberglass product, I wish you would have returned the product as we definitely would have made an exchange for you on the product
