Absolutely the worst UPS store there ever was and ever could be! despite my “this side up” and “fragile” labeling tape, The elderly woman insisted i put the box on the floor, and turn it on its side. I insured her that it had to stay the way it was. And then she blatantly told me “that does not matter they are just going to throw it around anyway”. this isn’t the first time there has been an incident like this. Multiple times a package has been lost and or damaged from this location. If you’re going to be using them please take out insurance! if it weren’t for them being a few blocks away from my office I would be going elsewhere. It looks like I will be using a different location from now on

The elderly lady is so nasty, and unkind. She talks through you as you try to explain something. SHE TOLD ME THEY DONT HAVE THE TIME TO DEAL WITH IT AND PULLED ME TO THE SIDE. My items got lost at their place and she said that of course it wasn’t their fault meanwhile I returned 2 same items one got refunded the other miraculously disappeared. She has the audacity to tell me Amazon takes 2 weeks to reflect the return.. not sure what age she’s living in but Amazon updates your account the moment the item is scanned as a return at ups and picked up. Again, so nasty and unhelpful. Talking through people and doesn’t even try to explain anything nicely.

I had them pack and ship an item. When the item never arrived I went to the store directly as getting a live person at the UPS 1800 phone number was impossible.The staff at the store told me there was nothing they could do as they gave it to the driver and suggested I call ups 1800 telephone number (even after I told them I had been unsuccessful in reaching someone at this number).After I told them this was not a satisfactory answer I was told I could come back later in the day to speak to the manager.The manager, Walter, was and continues to be extremely rude. Though I do anticipate to be refunded the money in due time ( havingthem lose it is beyond frustrating)his staff as well as him, need to work on learning how to talk to their customers.My opinion definitely go elsewhere.

The two younger employees were super sweet and tried helping out the best they can, however, the older man and women were simple terrible. Customers are never first when it comes to them. I had to wait for her to take me when there was no line, just for her to unpack boxes. When one of the younger ones asked for help the lady snapped at him and gave him a very unnecessary attitude. How are you going to be a manager or owner of whatever and be such a terrible person. Especially to someone who’s trying to do their job?! For anyone who goes to this location, I hope you are lucky enough to work with the younger ones instead of the older two.

The older man is nasty with customers, wears a mask without covering his nose but demands social distancing.The old lady toke 45 minutes to receive THREE boxes from a customer. while the old man was filling an application and taking the sweetest time and the young worker struggling to satisfy all the people waiting outside to get in.Shame on the poor service

DO NOT go to this UPS location. Go to Massapequa Park or Babylon Village…which are somewhat better, Huntington Station is outstanding. All locations are privately owned and franchised. The couple that owns Lindenhurst UPS are rude and obnoxious. They over charge when they can, make you wait unnecessarily and act like they are doing you a big favor by helping you. I will never go back there.

I waited past the 9 am opening time and the man in the store took his sweet time opening up. He was not wearing a mask and when I said good morning he ignored me and walked away. Service was very slow and not one apology for making me wait longer then necessary. I expect better from a national company like UPS. The store owners name is Walter, I will be calling him to let him know my displeasure.

Absolutely the worst service.. last 2 times I came here the opened at least 20 min past 9am opening time and employees were taking their time as the line of 8 people waited in the cold outside.. when I can in and asked to get something notarized the women rolled her eyes, puffed and told me to stand to the side and that I would have to wait a few mins.. every other location I’ve been to was excellent service.. I would recommend driving further to go to one of them instead

Terrible customer service. I waited 30 minutes total (on line and in the store) just to send a single fax. The people working there didnt seem to know how to use the machine. It was a fairly sensitive tax-related document, but somehow the woman sent one of her coupon pages as part of the fax. For some reason, she then decided it would be a good idea to read OUT LOUD in front of all the other customers who the fax was addressed to. Very unprofessional. I could put up with the fact that the counter is chronically understaffed and the wait times were egregious if there was a little more professionalism.

I am not sure about other reviews or previous customer service quality, but I can tell you my honest experience at this store via phone. The staff was very helpful and nice. Service was also very quick (they called me back immediately after they located my package). They thoroughly searched their databases to help me find my package, even though I had lost my physical receipt.Backstory: I was trying to return a package that I didnt want anymore from Amazon so I had the option of dropping it off at UPS about a month ago. Drop off was very easy and there were no issues. Fast forward to today: I get an email from Amazon saying that they didnt receive the package so I called UPS to inquire about the status of my package. UPS was very helpful in helping me locate the package.

Every time I visited this store was to drop off only. I dropped rented textbooks or Amazon return orders. The store is always clean, properly posted signs. These signs indicated that the store offer shipping, printing, photo IDs for passport. Since Im never there for technical and freight shipping, I am unaware of what it takes to wait online for these services. The average wait time I experienced was 5-10 minutes. Social distancing was practiced by staff during my last visit

I dont typically write reviews, but had to considering the poor customer service of this location. Elderly lady actually refusing service - an Amazon Return. Do yourself a favor (to avoid this woman giving you a hard time), and go to another UPS Drop Off. Amazon was nice and alternatively had UPS come to my home for the Pick Up because of this womans refusal to take my package.

BE AWARE: WALTER THE OWNER DOES NOT WEAR A MASK NOR RESPECT THE SOCIAL DISTANCING RECOMMENDED.With everything going walter was NOT wearing a mask and approached me to take a look at the box,almost face to face. TERRIBLE costumer service. This place is a joke,run by the owner who has no personality and is extremely rude(along with most of the people that work there,NEVER friendly,if you hate your job so much go do something else),I will stay away from this place and go somewhere else,theres always an issue here,the box too big,the label cant be read,we dont have room,our printers are down,always something. I am not a bad review person it takes a lot to get me to write a review, but this particular UPS Store deserves every ounce of a bad review. Even prior to covid-19 this particular store has always been above and beyond slow. Neither of the two most seen employees/owners ever speed up no matter how many customers they have in line. They are unfriendly and inhospitable, and they do not care about their customers. If I want to print something off of a USB stick they charge almost $5 just to use the computer in order for me to get my file, doesnt include the print. If I want to mail something its always an uphill battle the entire time. And during this pandemic they have a line out the door due to the small capacity of people allowed in the building and they still do not speed up their process at all no consideration for their customers at all. Maybe a couple younger employees may help the process. Waiting 20 minutes in line for 3 customers to be taken care of is outrageous and again youll wait that time even without the current pandemic.I suggest going to any other business if you need to any service they pretend provide.

If I could give zero stars I would. The manager is an old man who gets overwhelmed easily and moves really slow. Plan to wait about half hour if you get stuck with him. The prices to ship any package are outrageous. The only saving grace are the 2 young guys that work in the store. The older lady will nickle and dime you. Save you time and money by avoiding this place.

Had a pre packaged, prepaid return that was already labeled. Cashier wanted $12 to re-pack the item because he said they dont accept Amazons packaging. Post office accepted it no problem for free!!!What they wanted to send and ship the item was more than the item cost. Nice little scam for people who dont spend the time to go elsewhere.Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else!

The old woman, Marilyn, is one of the nastiest women Ive ever dealt with. Instead of being a normal human being, she charged me a $1 for a 6 inch peice of tape. I dont care about the money, but who treats their customers this way?? The younger kid who was helping me looked so embarrased when she came running over and told me I had to pay $1, I feel bad he has to deal with someone like her. Will never go back there again .

Poor or non-existent customer service due to the owners themselves. One of the young workers was making me copies when, owner Marilyn, told him to stop doing my job, and make copies for her customer.I said quite loud to her equally awful husband, that I would never return to this store thanks to the ourageous treatment by his wife.Also, everything is VERY expensive. Go to the P.O. for your needs.

Horrible customer service from Walter and Marylyn!!!!These 2 could care less about the customer especially if there is a line..I waited almost an hour having only 2 people in front of me. I asked if they ship live animals girl told me no. I then stated that on the website they have a list of prohibited and accepted animals so I know they ship and was wondering if that store specifically did it. She then proceeded to give me an attitude and say well you cant ship, like, a dog so I explained I was just asking if that store in particular ships live animals in general and she said yes so I said ok thank you bye and she mimicked me and then hung up. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Worst UPS Store in Long Island. The Owner Walter is horrible and his staff is a bunch of lazy uncaring individuals, who know nothing about customer service. Save yourself the aggravation and just go to the UPS hub in Farmingdale (staff there is always friendly). I will never go back to this location and I hope it closes.

I wish I would have seen these previous reviews before I had a package shipped to this store. Marilyn is the worst customer service person. I had a package shipped to this store and to be held for seven days. She got the package and had it immediately shipped back to the store and never held it. When I called, she told me it was up to ME to call her in advance and tell HER that the package was coming with my name. Stay away from this store!

The old lady Marilyn locked the doors at 4:52 when they close at 5. The store owner let me in to drop off my package and 2 custoemrs followed to drop off packages and she reitered how they were closed multiple times. I continued to tell her well its not 5 yet and she said yes she is. She must have shaken her head 40 times in the 3 mins I was in there. Horribly run store

Absolutely horrible! I paid for a package to be delivered next day, this did not happen. Typically this wouldnt bother me, but the package contained legal documents that were time sensitive. When I called the 800 number - I was offered a refund...3 weeks later, I have a headache and have yet to receive my refund and the the store hasnt been helpful. I have been told I would be called back, that never happened and I ultimately had to go to the store since the 800# reps told me the money was sent to the store. What a nightmare! It shouldnt havent have been this difficult.

I came to the store asking to get a electronic return label which is offered in their website and they said they dont do it because in another store someone used that kind of return labels in a bad way, I asked why is it in the website then and they didnt reply, the thing is I need it from a UPS and they refused to do it when actually they can do it.

Clean location with everything youll need. Prices are not cheap and staff isnt exactly the most technologically savvy, but it does its job as a UPS drop off location or a place for prints when your printer jams.

This store is a joke. Walter, who apparently runs the place, is unprofessional, disorganized, and should not be in charge of a UPS store. If I were UPS I would change up the management of this store ASAP.
