Big bright store! The managers are helpful! The workers are pleasant. They look like they care about the store and their job. People greet you if not right when you walk in, while youre there and definitely before you leave. I had a manager go the extra mile for me many of times. The store has come along and is looking better every time I go. Its usually full, and I find just about everything that I need... even more than I need to actually LOL

They have a good selection of items and a lot of it. Very clean and organized.

I have been to many, many Dollar Trees over the years and THIS is one of my favorites! I love how clean this store always is and well stocked. But the main reason I frequent this location is the outstanding customer service. The manager Peter is THE sweetest, kindest, most patient person ever! And the newer cashier, Norman, is great as well. They ALWAYS take time to talk to the older customers, asking how they are and they genuinely seem to care! My elderly grandmother looks forward to her weekly trips this this store. They are so patient and kind to her! This is a high volume store and there are usually lines but they do get through the lines quickly. I Just wish the customers were a bit more patient and understanding. With all that is going on in the world right now their kind words and friendly faces are a welcome distraction. Youre doing a great job guys! Keep it up!

Well living near it is irrelevant. The clerks are amazing people, sometimes says how are you and stuff like that. Yes they get out of stock, but they come back with better things... Like watches!

The line is going thru the store and after 20 minutes of waiting, they open another line and do no equally redistribute the lines to accommodate those who have been waiting. As all this is going on, Norman is taking his time and talking with every customer as if we all have not been in this line for 20 minutes, some even longer! The manager should have alleviated the situation much sooner. People were waiting so long, social distancing became a thing of the past just because everyone is wondering what is taking so long! Absolutely terrible service. No sense of urgency at all! Got in line at 5:10 pm and left the store at 5:40 pm!!!!!!!!!!! Never again.

I am extremely upset with this location to the point that id rather spend more money at another store for bester customer service, and i have been coming to this location for tens of years. i walk in the store, i grab 1 item located on a front endcap soon as you enter, a pair of headphones. theres one register and the line is to the back of the store. i get in line of about 10 people, and stand in it for 30 minutes as Norman talks to everyone be rings up. a second line opens eventually, and everybody that came in the store after me and people who were still shopping in the store gets in that line, about another 9 people. while people are still getting in that line, a 3rd line opens up and half the people from that line are invited over, but not the long line of people who have now been waitin nearly 25 minutes! i finally get to Normans register, AND HE WALKS AWAY WITH A BAG TO WHO KNOWS WHERE!!!!! I HAD EXACT CHANGE IN HAND, PRODUCT ON THE COUNTER AND HE JUST DARTS OFF!! LEAVING MYSELF AND A FEW OTHERS BEHIND ME. One item should not take 30 minutes to buy, especially when i been holding the item in my hand for the entire 30 minutes. i walk out, and walked back in to ask for a receipt to complete a survey and the person who helped me (because of Normans disregard for the customers at hand) gave me a phony copy with no details but my purchase. i will not be going to that store as long as that staff is there. absolute worst shopping experience in my entire adult hood. i am in my mid 30s. the way norman walked away bewildered me to a boiling point i cannot describe.

I shop here once or twice a week, I love this store and like the variety of products. However on 2 separate visits here I encountered an elderly black man on a white bike asking customers for money, including myself, as they exit the store. I called to report this to a woman who identified herself as the Assistant there and she knew this man was out there in their parking lot right near the doors asking for money. She was nonchalant about it and told me he was trying to get money to buy a bike lock. The fact that she was aware of this bothered me and makes me hesitant to continue shopping here. This is considered Loitering at the very least! Mostly it makes me feel UNSAFE to go to this store.

Very nice selection of birthday cards, especially for niece, nephew, cousin, etc. Large, very organized store that is generally well stocked.

I love the Dollar Tree in Somerdale and the employees are always friendly but today I was shocked when I saw under what conditions the employees have to work. We had a 100 degree weather today and I was strolling through the isle and realized how hot it is in the store. When I checked out these two elderly ladies were at the check out drenched in sweat. I thought the AC was broken but they actually didn’t even have an AC in there at all. I think that should be illegal to have employees work under such conditions cashing a definite health risk. I couldn’t wait to get out of the store. I can’t imagine working in there for a whole shift. Corporate should give it try to see how happy they would be to work in that heat for an entire day! Kudos to the employees to still be friendly!

Manager young girl who refused to return anything, including some candy still unopened. Extremely sarcastic young lady. No smiles from her young face. So sad. To be so young, and to dislike her job that much. I wont be back. Im stuck with Easter cards and candy manager would not return for me or offer me at least a store credit.

I pulled up to the Dollar Tree in Somerdale on 4/3/19 at approx 8:50 pm. Yes, I understand the store closes at 9, but I just wanted to grab some balloons for my son’s birthday in the morning. Beverly, who was very rude and has been in the past, met me at the door and told me the store is closing. I asked her if they had balloons already blown up and she got an attitude and was just really rude. She wouldn’t let me in the store, I’m thinking bc I’m white (she’s black), but she allowed the black man behind me to go in the store. I have been in the store other times when she was working and she is very rude and grumpy. I called corporate and I hope to hear back from the tmrw and if not I’ll be calling again. This woman doesn’t deserve to have a job working with the public!!!

Not enough registers due to corporate ruling. A store this size is supposed to have one more with the amount of traffic. Understaffed and employees do not have enough time to clean and stock. Wait time can be up to 10 mins or more on certain days. Employees and managers very friendly and efficient.

Its a Dollar store. The only complaint I have about this location and a few others (especially the new one in Berlin, NJ) is that besides the inventory not being stocked frequently, is that theres never enough cashiers working. The lines to check out are always way too long. Ive never been in a Dollar store line when there wasnt at least 6-7 people in front of me. And I get frustrated because I never buy more than a couple things at wash visit. I can say, Ive never used a cart. So it sucks when you have two or three things to buy and three or four people in front of you have full carts and theres one register open. Other than that I can guarantee everything costs one dollar.

The Manager Beverly is very unprofessional, disrespectful and deserves to lose her job. She made a racist comment about me to two customers in front of my children when I ran out to the car to get my money. She said It always had to be the young black women that do this. She then called my daughter a liar when I called to speak with her to address the issue after my daughter reported this to me. Why would my child randomly come up with this????? Im well in my 30s and although I may look young she was completely out of line .I have reported her to corporate and the District Manager. The lines are also always very long. I will never go back in this store again.

We had to wait 10-12 minutes before an employee came to the cash register today! We couldnt find an employee anywhere until my husband knock on the door to the stock room. He said Sounds like a TV was playing! Very unprofessional!!!
