There is nothing like a hardware store..great people..very personal

This is where I buy all of my Stihl lawn maintenance equipment the service guys really know what theyre doing.

I tend to come to this Store often since they cut glasses for windows and since we work in remodeling they never failed us.The employees are very nice and always helped us out when we needed.I generally thought this store is a great place to go to

If I could I would give it zero stars. We in and was going to buy a lot of things that I needed. Found a bird feeder that I really liked. There was 10 in the slot for$5.99 when I got to the cash register it was $14.99 I took store manager over to look at them and he told me that they are 14.99 and he didnt care what the sign said. The cashier and store manager were very rude and will try to cheat you out of your hard earn money. Becarefull if you shop at this Ace hardware.

This Ace hardware is Very messed up. And I know because I’m a usual customer that gets propane weekly and often get supplies when I’m doing project. The manager is a okay person but will try to sell you a dream. Like when the store didn’t have something in stock he told me it will be there by their next delivery. Thank god I didn’t pay for the item because I never received it or got notified it came in. I’m a usual customer so I seen a lot of employees come and go. In my opinion there’s definitely some employees that watch the others do all the work. Because in my experience I have only had almost everytime the same person help me which isnt bad but sometimes that person would be helping a person inside and get called out to help me while others are standing at the register. And also they have been many times when I went to the store and manger has not been transparent with me in many situations. Like when I sent one of my movers to the service. I knew what was wrong with it but I wanted to get them to fix it to be quicker. Long story short they charged me for a whole list of things that was completely not needed and could not prove I honestly needed it. Overall this Ace has a lot of issues. I would say this place is the best at price point either. I will not be coming back, I’ll take the longer drive and go to tractor supply or douglasville Ace

The worst don’t take your lawnmower there a big disappointment

Wonderful group of people in this store!!I prefer to drive the extra 10 minutes to go to this store vs the Douglasville location.They always have everything I need and always eager to help me if needed.They fixed my grandfathers lawnmower so quickly! I was very surprised with the quick turn around on the service!I would give 10 stars it I could. 🙂🙂

Nasty! I dont know what happened to this location after it was sold, but it is filthy!!! The owners wife stood watching me look at the glue section and never offered assistance. You had 2 boys on the clock standing around twiddling their thumbs while you stood there watching me look for what I needed all the while the other 2 employees were running around helping nearly every customer on their own. Then she goes and takes one of the workers off of one job helping another customer to come help me when I had already made my decision on what to get!! Rude service!

My U-Haul drop off location & amongst the two employees working I got taken care of pretty quickly. I like the efficiency of the return process.There was another employee who was off the clock, yet happily guided me with some last minute purchases...cleaning products & more face masks. The home & garden section is huge with various displays on the patio before you walk into the store. The store has a little bit of everything situated in a clean fashion & easy on the pockets.Theres a family like environment in the air providing good customer service...Ace is the place with the helpful hardware man/woman.

This store location says the sell the best pine straw and it’s very clean. I bought 40 bails for a client of mine cracked open the first bale and it had trash all in it. I always sell good clean pine straw to this client and could not install this locations poor quality, as it would jeopardize my future business. I took the pine straw back to this location and the manager on shift refused to refund me the $192 I spent with them. They are a scam and I would not do any future business with them!

It was my first time ever at an ACE. Did not really go there with a purpose. Just curious. The staff was on duty this afternoon was neutral. The store layout I found a bit stuffy. It smelled like poison. Not sure if the AC was out just as the Restroom was also out of service. It definitely makes a quick access to what youre looking for if they have have it in stock. Sometimes Id rather use Amazon than go to Home Depot because I dont feel like going to a huge store. I guess I left there also feeling neutral about it. Theyll definitely see me again because Im a hopeful person and its a good time to be in neutral moods with everything going on in the world right now.

As usual I had to buy multiple pipe fittings to get what I needed. 3/8 # 1/4 bushing none on the shelf about 50 3/8 × 1/8 bushings instead.

I took a brand new lawn mower in with full tank of gas because the blades wouldn’t engage. They claim the gas was bad, the mower had no oil and that the blade bolt was loose.They used my mower to cut their gas, charged me to replace the gas that they used to cut their gas and for oil that was already in there. Didn’t clean the grass off where they cut grass to make sure it was working.I should have just taken it back to Lowe’s and let them look at it being that it was still under warranty.A total rip off and they don’t have a conscience and bad business practices.

I was an employee of Lithia Springs Ace Hardware (which is a franchise and does not reflect on all other locations). Joshi, the owner, is the most shady person I know. He marks up the merchandise by 50%. He orders from Amazon (and calls it AZ to hide it from you) and charges double the price to whom ever he is selling to. He also orders non OEM parts to repair customers machines and passes it off as certified parts but really its a 50/50 chance that it will work. The mechanics are good people, but fear for their jobs. When Joshi hires employees (like me as the assistant manager) he refuses to allow you to sign any paperwork ( even a W4, no evidence AT ALL that I ever worked there, not even an application) even after weeks of asking and demanding. Then when I received my paycheck it was nearly $200 short. I was salary and hadn’t signed paperwork so it was pretty clear on what to expect. He processed me as hourly and whatever wage he decided on. There are many other employees on the same boat. Never trust him, never shop here! He WILL rip you off!An update: 12/15/2020I went to pick up my paycheck that Joshi owes me for the 50+ hours that I put in for that week. He flat out refused to pay me! Hadn’t even written a check. He said that he can pay me whatever he wanted and that he didn’t want to pay me. I told him that I have already contacted the IRS, but he didn’t care.

Ace has somethings that the big box store dont have. I was able to get keys cut for two older cars that I own..

This Ace store is extremely friendly and helpful. They have maintained a small town feel even though the area has grown exponentially over the years. The only reason for 4 stars is they dont always carry an item Im looking for. For the size of the store though, they do have a wide selection.

My husband ordered a part for his yard edger. Took 3 trips back to the store and our daughter intervening before they found the part and gave him his money back for one of the other parts. Manager was not helpful at all. One of the clerks finally assisted my daughter via telephone conversations. Will not shop here again

Outdoors tool repair moved in the back of the store. They are always very helpful and great selection of Stihl power tools, my #1 choice.

They were the only place nearby that had a kiddie pool for my little one. The gentlemen there I spoke with on the phone was friendly and showed me where they were when I arrived at the store. I wish I could have gotten his name. Thanks again!

Went in for parts for my gravely mower. They had some of them. The gentleman looked everything up that I needed and was very nice and professional. I just left the store for the second time and was told by the guy that he can’t look up parts to see what I need. I asked him why and he said they haven’t been a gravely dealer since December and can’t look them up. I asked how the other guy do it if they have no way to do it. He said they just can’t. Drove all the way from villa rica ga to be treated like that because someone is to dang lazy to look something up. Poor poor service. Also had to walk in the rain to the other section to put. I had to wait ten to 15 minutes just to pay. I was shocked at how this place is run. I had a good first visit but the second one was absolutely horrible.

Wonderful place. Service was EXCELLENT!! They assisted me immediately and stayed with me until I found the exact cartridge to fix my dripping faucet. Another gentleman was do kind and we joked and laughed at the sales bin. Sadly I didnt remember their names but since I have to go back I hope to see them both. Great Job Ace Hardware!!!!

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! Today was my 1st exp ever going to an ACE Hardware; I visited two in one day and VERY IMPRESSED. From the time I entered the Lithia Springs store I was greeted, asked what I needed assistance with and even though I declined assistance I was greeted with not 1 but 2 associates that were very helpful and resourceful. I am very pleased with my community hardware store ACE; you have gained 1 new loyal customer. Keep up the great work!

Rearranged the inside some but still just a good old little neighborhood Hardware store you can go to when you dont want to mess with the big chains.

Always clutch when you need that certain hardware, open later than most stores.

Every time that I go in this Ace hardware they are out of what I need . Simple items like a common piping piece, paint, etc.. They always have an excuse why the item hasnt been reordered. No one in the store has a clue on helping the customers.I am never going to this store again

0 stars! Horrible Customer Service. Had some glass cut in the morning. They used the old pieces for a template. Two of the pieces were cut too large and didnt fit. I discovered it late in the afternoon, and got there two minutes before they closed. I was asked by the employee with the reddish grey hair and beard if I could bring them back tomorrow. I have two more projects to complete tomorrow, and it would really put me behind. Then he said they were closing. I said, Your asking me to make three trips, and you didnt get it right the first time. His answer was that my girlfriend was only there once today. I did not say this, but I thought duh, once for her today, once for me today, and once tomorrow makes three! I simply said, as he walked out the door, Ill get them back tomorrow, but I will never spend any money here again. That seemd OK to him, he just kept on going. Everyone makes a mistake now and again. Its how companies/employees handle them that tell you if they are good or bad. This was a failure.

Zero stars is appropriate. I made a few purchases on 5/1 and was convinced to buy a tool by a sales associate and told that if I didnt need it I could always return it. Here it is 5/12 and I attempted to return this unopened tool. I was told by the manager, Joshi, that I could not return it due to Covid 19. I asked him if this was an Ace Hardware policy and he said yes that they got a call and were told not to except returns, but that he would take it back in 30 days. My receipt clearly states no returns after 30 days. Everything in that store has been touched by human hands yet somehow my return is going to transmit Covid 19. This is a fine example of how some business is abusing a global pandemic. Absolute terrible service, borderline scam, and I will never do business with this Ace Hardware in Lithia Springs GA again! Its a $6.99 tool and I made a 25 minute drive to return it. By the way, I called other stores in the area, there is no such NO RETURN policy due to Covid 19 for Ace Hardware. Pathetic and abusive. Shame on you.

June 29th. Went to buy hard and softtakes. The metal one had tag, markednine dollars and change. Got to checkout and it rang up nineteen dollars and change. Showed the lady not only that tag but others of 9 dollars.Oh, not any longer. Manager cared less.

I’ve been shopping here for decades. This used to be one of the best hardware stores in Georgia. The new owners have really let it go down hill. Bolt bins have lots of empty spaces. Bathroom was atrocious!! Trash all over the floor. I hope they straighten it out because it is very convenient to stop at. But they have a lot of work to do to get it back the way it was.

I was like the only customer in the store and they pointed to where I should find what I was looking for versus just showing me exactly where it was located, small store so not that many steps to sacrifice. Nice people though.

This ia a great place to get things ya cant find at home depot . lawn mower work as well. Parts for most lawn mowers of bout any type. I am a frequent shopper here. Staff are very helpful and very nice as well. Cant say enough about the staff here . just want to get ya in and out and satisfy ya customers at all times.

Dirty store. Absolutely no selection of plants. Staff wasnt very friendly, they seemed to act like I was wasting their time.

Price at checkout was higher than shelf price for lightbulbs. Clerk did not adjust for the lower shelf price when I pointed out this error, instead saying that shelf prices dont always match register prices. I needed lightbulbs, so I paid the higher price.

This store has a good selection of hardware at reasonable prices. The staff is helpful if you have questions.

This indian guy just bought this lication. He is rasict. He wanted me to pat for my propane upfront. Never have i been asked to do this. I wanted to fill my 100 lb tank. He said my maneger is gone. I procede to tell him to fill the tank. He said im the only one working here. He said i need to pay first. Why? He said he needs the code. The code had nothing to do w/ the propane on and off switch. Then when i pay, he said let me call someone. But i thought you were the only one working here. LIAR AND RADIST.

Generally, the people that work here are great. But the Manager is horrible and very immature. I called to voice a legitimate complaint, he kept screaming over my words! He was so abusive and rude. So sad, this could be a great business. I always try to shop locally. The prices here are a little higher, there is not as much selection as a big box. So the only real reason to shop here would be customer service. I feel bad for the other people that are actually doing a good job.

The employees was much nicer than the last time I was in this store. I go to Ace because its close to my home and considered a small business. The store is clean and they seem to stick everything well.

I visited this store today to purchase zip ties. As I walked aisle to aisle, a store associate walked by me. He looked directly at me, but didnt ask if I needed help; he didnt acknowledge me at all. I observed him walk up to another customer and introduce himself as Rich. To make matters worse, the other customer offered to help me find my item, and Rich just stood there. When we asked for his help he stated I dont know, Im on lunch, and proceeded to walk away. Im not sure why I was treated this way. I guess I didnt fit the right description. I will never shop here again.

I was on my way home from getting a cast placed on my broken arm when I saw there SALE sign! OMG! EVERYONE is always so helpful at this location. The woman outside dealing with the plants and EVERYONE inside. They loaded up my mulch and I was on my Mary way. 😙😙😙😙

Sad to write this review, because I have gone to Ace Hardwares throughout my entire life and have never had an issue. In the four years that I have lived here I have yet to visit this location. Today I did, and here is what I have for you. First off, the location is terrible. Its right before a four way intersection, and while turning in is a breeze, getting out of it is not. The only reason I am giving this place a two out of five instead of a one is because when I came in the lady at the front welcomed me and when I left she wished me a good day. That being said I do not know why she welcomed me, because I told her what I was looking for and she asked over the intercom, but then proceeded to help someone in line and completely disregard me. It was really weird. What upset me a little is that after spending about 10 minutes walking up and down nearly every aisle, which was surprising that it took that long because it is not that big of a place to begin with, I went back up to the front to ask for assistance again. The same girl got on the intercom, this time getting a response, and said that they would meet me at the aisle. So I go back to the aisles and I go up, I go down, I stand and I wait, and needless to say no one came. Surprise surprise. I finally found the location of where the product I was looking for would be, would meaning that of course they did not have it. Really do not have anything positive to say about this place other then you get a hi when you come in and a bye when you leave. Good luck finding what you are looking for, with or without assistance from the employees (I literally saw two in the entire store) that work there.

Ive been here a total of 7 times. Every single time the staff have shown where something is in the store with no failure. Its great to have a store like this closeby. Just wish they were open longer than six.

Staff was helpful and friendly. I rented a uhaul from here and they made sure I was all set and knew what I was doing before I left since I had a car trailer.

Dealing with these people was like being lost in wonderland. I called looking for a tool. I was immediately and enthusiastically told that they did not have the tool. I asked the person did they know what the tool was. They responded that they did not. So, they couldnt be sure. I was transferred to someone else. They were equally mystified regarding the tool. They told me they were unsure if they had it. The persons response was that if they had it, it would be located on a given isle. At that point, I did not ask that they check. It appeared to me that one selling tools should be familiar with tools and when you to inquire that one checks. The tool that I was looking for was a reamer.

Very dishonest! Better count your change! Owner will rip you off if he thinks he can get away with it!

Love this place. They are always quick to help you and always have what you need. They also analyze your swimming pool water and can sell you what you need to make it right. Their paint dept is awesome compared to home depot or lowes.EDIT: This place has gone downhill so much in the last year. They moved the shop that was nextdoor, into the hardware building. The people that work here all seem to be young kids who dont really know anything about hardware or where things are located. And since most workers dont wear ace clothing, you cant tell who works there! Everyone looks like a customer.They dont test pool water anymore. For months Id call and theyd tell me the computer is down cant test pool water. Evidently, it wasnt profitable enough so they stopped doing it?Recently, I went to have an older unopened gallon of THEIR paint shaken and instead, the guy tried to sell me a new gallon. When I finally pushed him on shaking my paint, he said he couldnt do it because the can had a tiny (1 inch wide) dent it in and it might explode in the shaker. I left and went to home depot where they shook it without question. I bought all my painting supplies there then.It seems that nearly every time I got to ACE, I end up not finding what I need and having to go to Home Depot where they ALWAYS have everything. Its gotten to the point that I just go to home depot now and not even to ACE.Whoever owns those poor koi outside, needs to clean that pond. it is disgusting. I have a koi pond and would be embarrassed to have anyone see it if it looked like that.
