This is a GREAT place to go to get gifts for loved ones during all life stages. Baptism, first communion, marriage, retirement, death, etc. The owner is super nice and helpful and is where I send all my friends and family when they need to find that perfect gift.

I stop into this store multiple times throughout the year to look for special gifts for my family for birthdays, Christian celebrations and Christmas. The staff is friendly and ready to assist in helping me find the perfect gift. These past few weeks I went there for a Confirmation gift for my nephew and for the perfect Christmas gift for my mom. They also have a wide selection of decorative lamps for the different seasons which I absolutely love. They remove price tags and carefully wrap the fragile items so they are ready to wrap when you return home which is helpful.

I have shopped here multiple times for various occasions (Baptisms, weddings, etc.) and ALWAYS find just the perfect thing! Jean is so incredibly helpful and even helped me to track down a blanket for my nephew, despite the manufacturer having shut down. I love shopping here and it is always my first choice for special occasions or even home decor!

Found perfect gift for a house warming. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Staff were not helpful and worse yet, rude. One of the staff members, who granted was helping someone else just about walked into me when walking a customer to a different section. No acknowledgment or even an excuse me as she walked by. If it wasn’t for me getting right up against the row of product to get out of her way; she would have ran right into me.

The store is beautiful, and the owners are personable and helpful without being pushy. They carry a large selection, many items unique (at least in the places we shop). If you are a person of faith, some of these pieces will bring tears to your eyes, they are so moving! A nice selection of Spanish-language items, too, which was a great touch. We recently bought baptism gifts here and will surely return for other occasions.

Amazing! It is a small business run by two lovely ladies who are extremely helpful. I went in looking for a baptism gift and promptly received help finding the section I needed to look in. Great variety in this store---from home decor to religious gifts. Great customer service. Very friendly staff.

The staff was dismissive and very unhelpful. When a couple came in who apparently were regulars the lady perked right up.

I had such a wonderful experience at the Carpenter today. If you are looking for a beautiful Christmas ornament, this is the place. The staff made me feel very special.

If I could give this zero stars, I would. Will never go back. Owner or female worker rudely came by as we were looking at Bibles to see which one we would like to buy. Her only snarky comment was that we were going to scratch the silver gilding on the edge of the pages. We left and bought the Bible happily at Barnes & Noble. So much for small business Saturday.
