Went on a Sunday to find some new walking shoes for Mrs. intinst. Was a little busy in the store & most everyone else also was interested in footwear, too.. The staff was moving through and helping each potential customer quite quickly, really. When it was our turn, both the clerk and the (I assume) Manager on duty worked to assist in finding the proper shoe type & fit (actually Birkenstocks, but, you know.) She left wearing them & is very pleased with the purchase and the knowledgeable people in the store. We will return in the future.

Helpful and happened to have a sick pair of On Cloud hiking shoes on clearance that were my wifes size. Unfortunately they didnt have the hiking boots that I or my father were looking for. Still helpful staff checked the back room at a moments notice to confirm.

Nice selection of quality socks

Bought a Yeti Daytrip. Used it only a couple times. Took it back without the tag with the bar code and was told they couldn’t take it back without that tag. I found the tag and tried to return it again but they said they couldn’t because it was used. It has no signs of use, no blemishes, no tears, and no stains. They just gave me the runaround and wasted my time when I wanted to exchange it for a Yeti Flip 8. Customer service is atrocious.

The staff at GHO at the Promenade is always very knowledgeable and quick to help. I have also noticed a big change in the products they are now carrying and it caters more to the backpacking/camping/hiking crowd, which is perfect for me since we do not have a REI close by.You can order just about any product you like and they can have it shipped to the store and will give you a call when it arrives, takes all the hassle away. The manger is always on point and good deals can always be found. Highly recommend shopping here for your outdoor gear.

Came to this store hoping to buy a new pair of chacos. Three people were working in the store. One was running the register with a couple of customers. Of the other two, one was sitting on a store display of shirts and talking to the other about their dating lives, girlfriends, and all sorts of their social lives while ignoring the rest of the customers in the store. Another couple was looking at chacos with us, and stayed they could buy them somewhere else with employees who were interested in customers. A family came in looking at hammocks and left without ever being asked if they needed help.

Awesome Customer Service-Every time I walk in the employees greet me and are eager to help me find what Im looking for...very friendly! I have come in many times and cant really imagine going somewhere else for my outdoor needs.
