The atmosphere was clean and organized but my daughter and I walked around for half an hour obviously lost with not being assisted. We were charged full price for a 65% discounted item and had to wait for the mate to the shoes we wanted to be found. It only took a few minutes but maybe the shift was understaffed, the staff was friendly however regarding the wait. But still 65% had me in my feelings
Nice wide aisles without sale people. Friendly cashiers, and efficient checkout process.
Store was stocked well. Had the jeans I wanted, also had clothing items that my wife was shopping for. Also made a return while there. Went smooth no problems. Cashiers and clerks were friendly and helpful.
Not many sales clerks and those that were asked about mens shoes had no idea that there was a section just for them. Easy to get to.

Went looking for a formal dress for a wedding & found several that I really liked, but no fitting rooms are open in the entire store to try them on. I was unable to purchase 2-3 dresses at $100+ each to take home try on & return what doesnt fit. Ended up putting an arm load of dresses & a few other things back & walking out empty handed.
Your typical JCPenney, nothing too fancy. In the big & tall section, nothing was marked, but with the app, we were able to find sales. Maya, the cashier, was absolutely the best customer service weve encountered in a long time.
I delivered here 1 time to one of your employees who work back in the hair cut section complained about me with a lie because of a part of an order that was not placed on my end and stated I was not wearing a mask to the company i worked for.. I also shopped here and very rude staff. I dont appreciatte the didrespect i got.

Most of the items here are good quality. I love Van Heusen shirts. The way work pricing is crazy. Buy 1 at full price. Buy2 get 40% off. Oh, and open a charge accpount and get 50% off. I never know what my ticket will be until I check out. I understand incentives may help sales, it drive me nuts.
The Sephora section is being shut down according to an employee. We bought some clothing and it was ok.

The store well organized and clean. The store was stocked well and items were easy to find. The only negative is the speed of the check out process. The check out process is painfully slow.
Recently, I purchased a shirt that had to be shipped from another store because this location didn’t have my size. I honestly forgot about ordering it and one of the associates was kind enough to call and remind me to stop by and pick it up. The day I was to go pick it up our high school went into quarantine! I called the store and they shipped my purchase to my home!!!! Talk about wonderful customer service!!! Thank you to both associates who assisted me! I wish I had written down your names, so I could thank you personally...but you know who you are!

I tried to get assistance from a young lady at the front desk. She had made up her mind that she was going to be very stubborn and not be inconvenience. I went to the back to a young lady named Camilla she was extremely helpful,friendly and great customer service. She went above and beyond. I appreciate her very much.

Well stocked and friendly staff but the lines are loooong. But hey, if you need a bra, they have bras as far as the eye can see! A sea of bras. A plethora. A superfluous amount of bras. Bras for days. Roses are red, violets are blue, if you need a bra, theyve got one for you.
I love JCP,this store is pretty good. Employees are always very nice for the most part,and are always helpful in locating particular items.

Visit this location a fair amount. Today I saw advertisement for mystery coupons. Get to the counter and ask the cashier and she tells me that only coupons are available to cardholders when using the JCP card. I asked if any were online and she looked me in my face and lied saying the other customers just left out and didn’t get any coupon used bc the coupons are for card holders only. I knew it didn’t sound right bc JCP always has some kinda coupon. Go online and in my face is a 30 percent off. I will NOT visit this location again! If you have to lie to meet a credit card quota to customers then you aren’t concern with returning customers! Had I left the store and found a coupon later I would’ve returned all my items! Poor customer services and deceptive practices in attempt to get customers wrapped in the vicious cycle of store credit cards!
We were here later in the evening so it was very easy to get what we wanted and get checked out. They are observing Covid precautions here. Staff was friendly and helpful to us.

It was ok the clothes selection was great but the staff wasnt very friendly or helpful except for this one group of Im assuming friends I found gossiping 😁😂in the corner I ask them if they could possibly help me find a pair of pants that is like is on the mannequin and they glanced around.. literally glanced around then asked me what size and I said the size that the mannequin has on is the exact size I need so they pulled the pants off the mannequin and gave them to me which was pretty nice I thought that they would go through that much trouble just to help me 🙂
Easy curbside pick up. Placed order online, received confirmation it was available, checked in when I got to the store and an employee put it in my trunk. Afterwards, I was on my way. No hassles.

Found what I needed at this location. The price was steap...but I purchased the white button down for my toddler after visiting 5 other stores that were out.
JCPenneys is the bomb they have it good prices always a coupon online and this location these people Rock they always want to help you you have no problems anybody ask is nice and courteous and they definitely have their in-store stock.
Very busy, but the Online pickup area workers were very nice.
Social distancing encouraged, very friendly and helpful staff.

The 3 star rating is for the rudeness of employees.I shopped here last week, originally looking for coats and sports wear. Ended up getting a cute pair of boots, which had to be exchanged for smaller size today. Everything was going good at first, good pair one size down, grabbed a few Christmas gifts then headed up front to check out and exchange boots... now, I havent shopped here in quite some time, and even longer since Ive had to return anything. I was told by lady up front I needed to go to back of store to do exchange. I thought and mentioned that wouldve been nice to know before coming all way up front. Thats where rudeness came in... as I made my way to back of store, I hear ladies mention there were signs up front and around store stating where returns are made (yes, I heard everything, which I assume was intended). I made a note to look as I left, and didnt see any signs... word of advise employees, even if there are signs, still be professional and guide customers where to go.Ill stick to shopping at Kohls.
Ive never been to a JCPenney where the employees were more friendly. This was a great experience for me. I had ordered something online and went to pick it up, and the employees were very helpful in getting me to the right area, and making sure I knew where to go. This store is very clean, well kept, and very accessible. I enjoyed this visit very much. And I think you will too.

It was a pleasant experience. Everyone is nice and professional. The store was well stocked with various brands and styles that I enjoy.
Even on a semi busy day, the store is rather neat and clean all over. This is also for the clearance racks as well. The workers are kind, very informative and are always willing to help. At most they are always busy and doing work in which you would like to see, even on non busy days. No complaints on my end...well maybe the graphics tees are a little too pricey.
They have only 3 cashier up front and you can only check out your clothes and other items there and jewelry has to be checked out by the jewelry cashier

Pretty annoying. I needed clothes and I finally had a day where I got off work before 8 pm. So, I went there at 6:40 pm and walked by 3 employees. They all saw me come in. Not one of them said they were closing at 7 pm. I finally made it to the back to start looking at the jeans and they called over the speaker that they were closing in 10 min. So, I turned and left. It was just annoying mainly because I didnt see the new time posted any where or was warned that I only had 20 min to do anything in there.
Theres hardly ever a cashier in the department when you need one. The crashier told us it was time for her to get off & she would get someone to help. Waited 45 minutes, the person that came helped on the jewelry counter first before coming to assist on the watch counter. There was definitely no sense of urgency or concern. Last time shopping here. The two stars are because I get a beautiful watch.

This location has some of the RUDEST employees, especially at the return desk. I came in around 7:15pm one night, trying to pick up a order. TWO women were at the pick up counter having a good ole conversation, laughing and looking at stuff on their CELL PHONES. After standing there for about 2 minutes unrecognized, I asked for assistance. Their reply was “oh you need some help? Go to the salon part and ask them”. I’m thinking WTH?!!! Needless to say, I won’t be going back. Not to mention I walked around the store 3times asking various employees for directions on how to get to the counter, for each and every one to point. Not in a clear direction but in a “over there/ finger behind head” direction. I was appalled. Just have your items shipped to your house or go to another location.
They sold me a watch and after my purchase they said they couldnt fit it for me, couldnt find anyone else that could either, was a learning experience for me, you buy something try it on first got my money back but the $30 insurance fee was non refundable... Live and learn

I brought a jumpsuit on Friday the zipper broke Saturday as I was hanging up on a hanger in my closet they refused to return Sunday. Dont shop there anymore
The customer service was great tonight. Howard (older black Gentleman) in the mens department was fantastic. He helped me find the items I needed online at the JCPENNEY site. The store was out of stock or simply doesnt carry my size. Howard took the time to make sure I could get the items online. He even found a coupon code that offered a huge discount.I would give Howard 5 stars but the store really deserves a 3 at best.
Nice well-stocked and they had everything I was looking for I just had one problem my grandson and I would shopping for him some clothes and we were getting along fine, until all of a sudden theres this lady theyre watching us felt like she was watching us because she thought we were stealing I started to leave the $400 worth of clothing that we had and just walk out the store cuz it was kind of insulting we had been there for a while no one asked us if we needed assistance, and when she came over she didnt ask to see if we needed assistance she just kind of stood back to guard the merchandise I guess

This store has a lot of good clearance sales. However, some of the store employees are rude and disrespectful. This behavior has even been in the presence of the manager without being corrected. Not good customer service. I would have given it one star, but the sales are decent.
My husband and I went to the JCPenney store on Shackleford yesterday to order window blinds for our home. We couldnt find anyone to help us that knew about the custom blinds. I tried to call the window department several times and no one answers the phone and after the phone rings so many times, you get the main menu again and no way to leave a message. If someone could help me, I would appreciate it so much because we have found custom blinds we really like and would want to order them. This is one of the few stores that has a nice display of window coverings but we need help!
Found what I was looking for then I found out it was on Sale . and the tellers was great .I will say some people have walking problems so we need to sit down throughout the store
This is a nice clean store with lots if merchandise. Penneys still has a ways to go, but I hope they stay in business. The Internet is great, but for clothes shopping nothing beats going to the store. Penneys also regulates the thermostat better than Kohls so you dont burn up while trying on stuff.

A few days ago, I visited the J C Penneys store in Little rock, Ar. I was just browsing on that day. I, ended up in the jewelry dept. There was one associate in the department. She was busy with another customer. I waited, when she was finished with the customer, she came to me to ask if I needed help. Thats a switch normally we have to find the associates. She showed me a few rings none that I wanted. I went looking in the hanging jewelry section. She went with me. After trying on 10 or more rings, I found a ring I liked, wrong size.I was unable to find size I wanted. She left me and went searching all the racks of rings, after a few minutes she returned, with my size. I was so impressed with this young lady. She went above and beyond what any associate has ever done for me in Pennys. Her name was Jasmine. I think this young lady knows the true meaning of customer service. She is definitely a KEEPER. Went there looking for a specific item in the ladies lingerie department. I looked around & couldnt find it. Went to a service desk and ask for help. They went over the loudspeaker and requested someone in the lingerie department. Stood around for another 20 minutes. No help arrived so as you guessed, I left without making a purchase. To that I say, thats a good place for someone to put a store.

Why does this store not answer the phone!!!? I came in and bought two dolls for my daughter and was charged for 3, tried calling the store because it wasn’t till I made it home and check my receipt that I realized what happened! I have two small kids i can’t just jump back in the car and get it reversed. When I come back though, and I will, I don’t want any bull about how they can’t fix it... so frustrating

The manager was consistently discriminating my friends and I. We were walking around shopping and she came around following us, believing we were stealing. The manager called my friend “big daddy”, I’m not sure if it was because he was heavy set but she was discriminating. We all walked around shopping with no problems with any other employee except the manager. I also asked her name and she said “customer service”. No one had on any name tags or anything.
The experience wasnt badd but it was not great either. The ladies at the check out desk were not as friendly as I thought they should be and it seems as if they did not want to help the customers.
The store is clean and has been organized during the past few visits. They seem under staffed, because it is hard to find someone or there is a backup at the checkout. I still enjoy shopping here.

What a mess last Thursday. All sizes, colors and brands slammed onto racks in Liz Claiborne section. Ill stick to buying online. I dont like the goodwill feel of this one. And the checkout girl left the security tag on my pants! Disaster!!!
All of the sales associates were so helpful and nice. I wish I had gotten the employees name that was in the womens shoe department. She was so sweet!!When we got to the front to checkout, we got the sweetest cashier, also. Mom and I got confused about the sales prices and the cashier was so patient and so sweet when she was explaining things to us. Once, again, I wish I had gotten her name, but she did have an awesome, yellow manicure! 🙂
