Good prices on NB and other brand name shoes. Plenty of parking. Courteous staff. Lots of sporting goods and some are seasonal.

I think that Big 5 has gotten better and better over the years. The manager, Guy, is a really nice guy. He has some funny dad jokes too.

With the pandemic I guess everyone is staying out of your way. Normally with the shoes there are associates wandering around. Today I had to go find one waiting in the doorway to the shoe storage room, maybe to maintain social distancing. I gave him the shoes I wanted and in second he had it. Shoes fit great.

I received excellent customer service from the Manager on duty, who seemed to be working 2 positions and had a waiting line outside, before opening. He was very helpful, took the time to show me several different items that I was interested in.And, once I made a decision, he made sure everything was taken care of.... Personalized service!

Manager is rude! Tried to return a faulty product with a receipt that I purchased a week earlier and he said that they could not do it because of the fires. That makes no logical sense. I think he was just lazy. I called the corporate office and they had no problem taking care of me. Wow what a store. Stay away!!!

First two shoe sales guys were friendly but when I went to find tetherball kit the third guy was looking at me like I was a shoplifter. He didnt ask me if I needed any help. So instead of buying the second pair of shoes I put it back. I was gonna to not buy anything after the stare down but it was what my little nephew wanted.Cashier super friendly and so were first two shoe sales guy. So was the man who called for help in shoe department.Third guy learn some customer service.

I really like shopping at Big 5 Sporting Goods in Livermore, California. It seems like every time Im here they are having some ki d of sale. From the parking lot sales to the sales inside the store I always seem to find a good deal here. The employees always have good customer service as well.

Product fell apart, do not buy from here. They are like KMART. Just stick with a real store!

Horrid. Store Manager Allowing employees to play paper basketball instead of helping customers and then throwing customers out for complaining. WOW incredible and unbelievable yet reality in the Livermore Store where they dont want to be bothered, or give help. You are on your own for merchandise that can be bought else where for 1/2 the price.

Typical Big-5 store though a bit better stocked than the Dublin location. Staff friendly but not very knowledgeable on shotguns other than this is a pump and this is an auto. Needed specific info for getting a gun for sporting clays.

Easy to find. Parking spots in the second row are a little dangerous as the first row may back into them. Variety and prices are decent. Returned items and generally put back on the shelf without a price change, so watch what you buy. Staff are friendly. No live bait for sale.

Big 5 always has good rotating deals and its a pretty fun place to tool around for a little bit for active themed items. Maybe even get some inspiration to ruin a weekend with a run, hell IDK. you do you.

Wanted to buy a shotgun and this older man, who Ive never seen before in the many times Ive shopped here, and he gave me nothing but opposition. I dont know if it was because I was a woman or if he was just socially inept, but I left feeling extremely insulted. He wouldnt even show me a shotgun that was in the back storeroom. Accusing me that I was buying it for someone else... Why would I do that? You cant pick out a shotgun for someone else... Its too personal of an item. Not to mention illegal.So now I am feeling so insulted that I dont even know if I ever want to shop there again! Considering I am a frequent customer, that should tell you how horrible this man treated me today. I usually have good service there, but today really was like a slap on the face! I hope that guy wont be working there for long time... If I find he is gone I might consider coming back. But as of now... Forget it.
