Straight forward customer service, done an hour before they stated it would, efficient and had the right tire in stock to make the repair, will definitely do business here again

These guys are great! I’ve never had a bad experience at Discount Tire and the one today was no exception. They are short staffed, like most other business right now, but service was still quick. I’d recommend to anyone.

J.T. up front and Ryan my tech, were both outstanding. I had a slow leak unfortunately it was to close to the sidewalk for them to fix it. Ryan gave me plenty of options, even suggesting that another (maybe mom and pop) shop could use those rope strips or whatever to mend it.My thoughts; although there was going to be no charge to fix my tire, they have a customer for life! They make a conscious effort to treat their customers right, good for you guys!

Thankfully Discount had the tire size I needed on hand. I was thrilled that they could accommodate me in for service. I was in by 4pm and was finished before 6pm. Jemario the Assistant Manager was pleasant and helpful with outstanding customer service.

Great place. I schedule an apt for a tire repair (nail in tire) for 5/15/21 at 8:15. Arrived and was seen by 8:15. They repaired my tire free of charge and I was driving off by 8:30. The salesclerk suggested to replace my tires soon due to everyday wear. He was not pushy and only recommended some new tires. Will be buying my replacement tires from Discount Tire next month.

The Livonia Discount Tire was very busy but they were able to replace my damaged tire in an hour ... Great job!

Horrible customer service. Would not recommend this place. 7mile and middlebelt located.I took a day off work to get tire replaced on my camper. I took bad tire, guy sells me the tire I want. He says you will get a text when done, in a few hours. So couple hours later I start getting text. 5 in less that 1.5 hours. So I go pick up. I get there and guy says that they dont have that tire in stock. I said why did the guy sell me the tire then? So guy at counter says sorry and trys to sell me a different tire. Or he said he could order for the next day. So I said please order for next day. I want my tires to match. Guy at counter says he will personally call me and tell you its done. Ya that never happened. Just kept getting text and text. So I tried to call and see if tire is really done. Got no answer. I drove from 96 and 23 area back to my yard in Farmington hills and dropped off my work truck while still on the phone with them. Still no answer. So I drove over there and yes its was done. But no answer from the phone line for more than 45 minutes. I would not recommend this place at all if you want customer service. That location will never get my business again.

Waited for at leasted 3-5 minutes before getting service. There was 1 service rep with 3 people waiting in line. After that the service was good. I was shown my options of tire brands and prices. Kept their promise on how long it will take. Answered questions that I had. Overall a 4-1/2 stars (Didnt know how to give a 4 and a half stars.

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Discount Tire (and I have had the unfortunate pleasure of going to multiple locations in emergencies). You can tell the synergy of the brand because I always get friendly and helpful sales folks and they do not try to sell me things I do not need. I only wish I would have known some details about the warranty program sooner, in that I could purchase it for tires not ordered through them. Next time I have a new car, Im going here immediately to purchase that in every wheel because my tires have a habit of suffering unrepairable damage (not my fault, nails and on the freeway just gravitate towards me).

Clean quickly service. Equipment in stock done less than an hour. Courteous and friendly service.

Due to the Low Tire Pressure warning message, I took my car to Discount Tire on Middlebelt. As usual - GREAT service. Since they moved the Air Check lane to side of building, it is even better --- no congestion at all, just wait in line. This morning the tech on duty, Jacob, was the busiest guy in the whole place --- and he was still very friendly and efficient. These days, that counts more than ever. Its service like this (free service, at that) that prompted me to get my last set of tires at this place --- and it will prompt me to get my Next set of tires here also. Im glad to have this place fairly close to where I live. Thumbs up to Discount Tire!!! And also to Jacob!!!!

Brought my vehicle in for Tire Rotation. Was told they can NOT touch the tires because there was a plug. I left, found my receipt from them (Discount Tire same location Livonia, Middlebelt) where they themselves repaired the tire and performed a rotation months prior.Brought the vehicle back in for tire rotation three weeks later. This time I am told they cant touch the tires at all because of the tire wear which was not mentioned at all three weeks earlier.Maybe the tire wear is because they refused service when I brought in my tires for a rotation which I paid for something called a warranty when I purchased the tires and was told they will not touch them because of the plug they themselves put in the tire..... The male Technician revved my engine 4 times pulling my vehicle out of the bay. Waited outside in the cold for 4 hours total going through the multiple visits. And get this... Didnt even fill my tire pressure back to normal operating PSI when they handed me back my vehicle. This cost me hours of my time wasted to be told two excuses, each different from the first to neglect performing any service and require I purchase new tires.Very unprofessional let alone they themselves are the reason they refused to perform the service the first time and give me completely different excuse the second time. Will not purchase tires from Discount Tire in the future. I will spend extra money to have anyone but Discount Tire perform the service and get my money.Once I left, Sean the Advisor was nice enough to call me back and offer me to purchase new tires and declares the reason for the first issue was the tires were too worn which was not stated in the first appointment. Ill give Sean a thumbs up for being professional regardless of the service rejection. Thanks Sean

Showed up on a Monday at 4:45 with a flat tire, they were incredibly busy. They promised me theyd check it, fix it if they could, if not and they didnt have a tire in stock, at my request theyd put the spare on, even if all this happened after closing hour. Store closed at 6. I was the only customer left. They fixed it by 6:45 for FREE NO CHARGE. Awesome, thanx so much!!!!! Jamario and Sean were especially polite and helpful as was the tech that told me the tire prob. 10 stars!!!!!

ZERO STARS!!!! Worst service ever. Made appointment for 245. Arrived 20 minutes early. Told that 245 was my check-in time. And that my actual service time would be closer to 4. Whats the point in appointments if I have to wait almost 1.5 hours. Rude counter person could not give me a legitimate reason. Will be going elsewhere from now on. Youve lost a loyal customer for life.

Won t be back!! I bought tires from them over 30 years!!! Today I went in to have tires rotated !! I was refused service because they said my tires were too worn on the front!! I wanted to put them onto the rear. The rear on a front wheel drive never wear. I added up all the tires I bought and I was stunned it was over 5200 dollars!!! Frankly I believe it was just a HIGH PRESSURE sales tactic!!!!Update. Made it threw winter NO ISSUES at all!!!! Next fall down the street I will buy two new tires! 2005 with 205K not really looking to spend a ton of money!!Final update 5/13/2019 The Motor blew at 221K. It is time for the BONEYARD! But it will not have a set of brand new tires on its corpse!

Went to my dealership on Sat. to have a low tire checked out. They turned me awaybecause I didnt have an appt and they were not taking appts that day. I even had to ASK to get air in the tire before I left. I drove over to Discount Tire, they gave me an appt for 2 hrs later. They fixed the tire for NO Charge, and I was out the door in 30 minutes.

I purchased tires online and made a appointment also. Tires installed and on my way in about 35 minutes. Good work gentlemen.

They were quick and very efficient. I had 2 holes in the left rear tire of my wifes new Kia Soul RedLine at 846 miles new. Very pleased!

They push the more expensive tires. Not great customer service but I was quoted an hour and I came back in an hour and it was done. Apparently they dont call when its done but it is what it is. Way Better than metro25 and bell tire on that same road in Livonia.

Up sell or did Discount Tire (DT) sell me sub par quality wheels?? Either way, if you are not buying, you are low priority.Wife came in to swap to winter tires. Granted, wheels and tires are 9 years old, but tread is good, see the pic.DT: your wheels are rusty, you need to buy new wheels and tires *this narrative repeated several times*Wife: surface rust?? Can you balance them and my husband will put them on?DT: sure! no problem *but you are not buying anything so you have no place in line *Wife: *almost 2 hours later * I see order doesn’t matter, I need my keys please. *she returned 3 days later just to balance the tires, out the door in less then 40min*Been going to DT for 21 years; been pushing ALL my family and friends to go to DT - I’m disappointed, rethinking my whole life now *not that bad*

Usually bought my tires here but recently I just bought a classic car and went up there for air pressure check in their fancy air nozzle will not hook up to my tire so it just lets all the air out of my tire but yet they dont have a regular air Chuck to hook up to the air hose you would think a big corporation like this would have one I guess you cant take classic cars here

Took car in with a slow leaking tire and asked to have it checked out. The work done to diagnose the problem was minimal and I felt very pushed through. I asked that the tire be taken off the rim to inspect the rim. This was not done. When I asked about this I was told it wasnt done. I will not be going to this location. I fear for the people who dont know any better.

I go here not only becuase I have a limited amount of choices for shops that will mount tires as small as 10 but becuase they go a great job. On the rare occasion that something does go wrong they go above and beyond to fix it. This place and Matt in particular is really great!

Last Saturday I had a hidden nail in the tire so it wasn’t holding air. Since I live in Warren I called every places that patches tire. But none were able to give me an immediate schedule and mentioned Saturdays are usually booked ahead. Then finally I came to this location in person and explained how urgent it is for me to have my tire fixed that day. They got my tire fixed. It took way longer than usual but it’s pretty understandable why. Thank you guys for helping me out on Saturday.

What can I say. I will always come here to have my tires put on from now on. There where a few hangups getting the lock off of my Chrysler 200. They were honest and straightforward letting me know of the problem that they encountered removing the wheel, not only did they find a way to service it but they took care of everything that needed to be done to get me back on the road. During this pandemic I needed a tire patched and they did it for me with no charge so when the guy told me, Just come back to us when you need new tires. I did! I was a little sceptical but went there anyway, because of their kindness. Everything worked out great! Thank you Mark and the crew for you hard work and kindness!!!!
