The strawberries and oranges both were very juicy for late September. I was very impressed that the fruit didn’t spoil the next day. My daughter fell asleep eating their oversized meatballs from the bakery. Four (4) meatballs was just a pinch over 1lb. I believe we paid $5.99 or $6.99 per lb. Around the same price for their fresh mozzarella and cherry tomatoes which I didn’t particularly care for due to the spiceyness of it. I’m not accustom to mozzarella caprice being spicy hot. Prices going up just like all other grocery stores but I will defiantly return.

A local grocery for me. I know quite a few people that work there. Always neat stocked shelves and clean. Easy in and out parking.

Decent small town store. Clean. Friendly staff. Great fresh produce. Bakery does great job on birthday cakes. Love taking a walk with the kiddos and stopping for a treat.

Not customer service oriented. You have to work before you go shopping in order to get the best deals. E-coupons are terrible. Why do we need to do the work to get the discounts, Im already a loyalty member.

My favorite place to shop. The staff is great even the cart guy is fun to talk with. I enjoy the food at weis I love the selection. I think its pretty organized. I actually enjoy shopping here. Usually shopping stresses me out but i love it there.

The produce section of the store, always manages to stay neglected. Sometimes I walk in to find the aisle unstocked, while other times the produce is completely covered with mold. Instead of tossing it, they leave it there. It’s ridiculous that I have to inspect everything closely before I purchase, just so I dont have to deal with rotted food. It’s honestly ridiculous that you have more employees stand behind the self checkouts, twinkling their fingers, yet not have a single one getting rid of food that expired two weeks ago. I even find the produce selection lacking. I can’t even get fresh spinach without it being bagged as a salad, or without it being frozen. Artichokes and leeks? Yeah that’s completely non existent in this store. They even lack selections of meat. No lamb, no bison, and not even grass fed beef. They have organic eggs, and milk but no organic butter? Makes zero sense to me.Their prices can be crazy as well. If I had a car, I’d be taking my business to Walmart for sure.

My hometown place to shop. I pretty much recognize the staff. College kids are great. And I know where items are located, which is a plus. Until they rotate stock. Donald, the outside grocery helper is another plus!

Very nice market in an easy to get to location.

I shop here all the time, and recently Ive been looking for boxes for moving. Most other places said no and didnt bother to help, but a wonderful gentleman helped us and loaded the boxes on a cart for us and brought it around! His name was Mac and deserves a raise because people like him are what makes me want to go here. Another gentleman helped (didnt catch a name he was a cart collector and didnt have a name tag) as well and they were both so nice and definitely deserve the praise! 🙂

Very small only one can register with 4 self serve. Still to be small has quite a selection. Just the part with register gave it it the 3 stars.

Nice place to shop. But I really want to point out how great the Lock Haven Weis pharmacy. I do go to a different pharmacy. Just happened the place that I do go to. Didnt have them. I went over they are very understanding. Helpful to so much. Thanks for being better.

I went here to get a prescription that was out of stock at my regular Weis Pharmacy. My pharmacist called the Lock Haven pharmacy and asked them to prepare my prescription. I had no problem picking it up. Staff was helpful and friendly. I will drive to another town to get my prescription, rather than go to the competing pharmacy in JS. Their prices are sky high compared to Weis and their staff needs to take customer service lessons from Weis pharmacy staff

Always fresh meat and more. Frequent loyalty card sales. One of the best in town. Also their brand of ice cream is outstanding and has the most flavors.

I’m in town on business and wanted to stop for donuts after they opened around 7:10. The store was meant to be open at 7. A woman stood there with her hands in the air when I tried to ask if they were open. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars is because the employees enjoyed the donuts.

Well stocked for the smaller store. The customer service is lacking. The prices are high for the average consumer. Store is clean looking overall. Good selection of brands to choose from. Meat selection and cuts are average. Deli and their customer service could be better. Id shop here again if I wanted to pay $0.50-$2.00 more than average price of other stores. They do have a gas points program that is good if you spend alot of money in the store to give you cents off of the gallon at the pump.

Shop there mainly for lo-fat cheeses etc. But their sales drop their prices well below competition and they ALWAYS have sales on multiple items. Produce, meats and seafood is always best around. Use membership for points for gas or advertised specials. Always helpful, cheerful folks.

Clean and easy to find stuff.

Prices can get insane. You get a few items and, you end up getting surprised at the register saying that you owe $80. When I’m at save a lot, I can get twice as much and, pay half that price. The store is only great when you’re trying to find items that other stores don’t have. Even then, it’s still over priced. I can get a box of good tea on amazon for $2.50 yet Weis will almost charge you $5 for the same thing. A bit crazy.

Not to be confused with the larger Weis in Mill Hall, this is still a good store. They have a decent selection for a smaller store, and most things are kept well in stock. The cart pusher is a nice guy, says hi to everyone, and offers to help carry bags.

I used to not care for Weis but after living here and the only grocery options really being Weis or Walmart, Ive been swayed. The everyday low price isnt always the best but the deals are. This store particularly is decently kept. Staff are nice. Nothing that stands out here but there arent any issue. Its central to most of the town and a good and reachable place for the college students. Also has a good selection of goods and services.

This Weis Market can definitely use an upgrade. The store itself is very clean throughout and the staff is nice. The size isnt that big which can lead to lacking of products. Is also missing a new feature within the Weis Markets, their beer selection. If it includes that, I can see the sales rising.

Half of the employees are terrific, others not so much. Not much variety when it comes to food sustenance but do have ones basic needs.

I was at the Lock Haven location at 9 p.m. and not one employee-manned cash register was open. Only the self-service registers were open. I had vegetables to be weighed and enough items in my cart that when my bags got full, there was nowhere to put them. In my opinion, there should always be at least one manned register open regardless of what time of day it is. The store doesnt close until 11 oclock, so it wasnt even close to closing time.

We are very happy with Weis store - and are extremely pleased with the pharmacy. Great caring service! We go to the Lock Haven store.

Great local grocery store. Has most things you need on a day to day basis. Has everything but only the most exotic fare, and even then the international section is pretty good.

The 1 gentleman named Donald was extremely helpful. In finding a price for me. As well as helping me with my groceries.

I dont know if I will be returning to this wises or not. I get my prescriptions filled there and last month the guy that works in pharmacy refused to give me credit on my new prescription and I was charged over $50 more than what I should have been and he refused to reimburse me for it. Tried to tell me I didnt have the right coupon in my phone for it. Treated me like I was stupid and I didnt know how to read. I havent been back in that store since

Everytime I am in this place it seems like they never have enough people. The one night there was one register open a huge line and the pFront end supervisor just took her time responding to the cashier then didnt even hop on to help. Today after waiting in line with 2 things the cashier at register one kept calling everyone behind me up to her register. Pull from the front of the line not the back! People are also pretty snippy in here. Its a college job I understand but a little common courtesy and sense would def help this place.
