They had very cheap ps4 games and when i got them they worked no scratches and the employees were friendly

Drove for a hour to get a good deal on a item. Saw the item online and figured it would be worth the drive. When I got there, I was informed that they are holding the item for someone. Understanding they were being nice to someone. It was still a waste of me and my wifes time. The item should have never been listed. Thought I might get a good deal, I was wrong.Got to admit, they were nice and polite about telling me to call back in a couple of days to see if it was still available.And the ability to say that with a straight face, gets you a extra star.

Im reading all of these reviews which are over a year ago. So Im guessing this Is a new staff that is working there besides the managers who have been there. This is a nice atmosphere, there is no way that the employees are lazy because most of the time when Im there its busy. I dont really care what the prices are unless I need the exact amount of money for the pawn. But other than that, GREAT SERVICE. And friendly. I recommend this pawn shop if youre in town or close by.

Screw this pawnshop. Im never going here again. I bought a rotary cutter tool from them. When I got home and turned it on, it started smoking. I havent even owned it for 3 hours. I saved my receipt but upon returning it to the store the manager, he wouldnt let me return it nor exchange it. They dont give a sh*t about the customer and only in it to make money. He told me he only made 15 dollars on it and cant return. Thats none of my business how much you paid for it. I want to buy something that will work. I feel like I got scammed.

Im only giving them one star because I cant give them none. Theyre trying to pull some bs and give me only 55 dollars for a gently used xbox 1 and controller. Dont go to them unless you are trying to basically give your items away.

Worst pawn shop to go to. Never going again. Been 4 times and each time every time James Edington is the most lazy/disrespectful person at the store. All he wants is your money and for you to leave the store as fast as possible so he doesnt have to work/ communicate with people anymore. He just hurries and rushes you out of the door and not to mention offers the LOWEST POSSIBLE price for any of your items. Literally robbing people and selling your stuff for 3x what he gave you for it!!! The ONLY employee worth getting a promotion is the young skinny kid with the ponytail/manbun he always makes you feel welcome. I said excuse me maam how much is that right there? And she looked RIGHT at me and smiled then walked to the back out of sight and blatantly ignored me. Never returning to that POS place

Called to verify the item I was looking to purchase was available and explicitly asked if it was functioning. Was told it was in operable condition. Drove to Lockhart from north Austin and item was not operable. When looking for an alternative they were not willing to negotiate price.Long story short; probably not worth the drive and expect no favors.

I tried to sell my 2017 1oz silver eagle ms70 and they offered me $5 for it.this company needs to shut down permanently.they are very horrible for business.

Quick background, Im in the jewelry business and buy from pawn shops regularly. I spend easily 200k per year at cashamericas around the country, Im always in and out of a shop in under 15 minutes.Tried to stop by this location today, albeit a couple minutes before closing (but they were still open, it wasnt five yet.) they turned me away saying they were closed, I tried to explain I just want to look over the jewelry. It would only take a few minutes and they refused (they were still helping other customers, so my looking would not have postponed closing.)Really unprofessional and the manager did not seem interested in doing business, very disappointed as it was an hour drive to get to Lockhart from Austin.Poor.

They have higher price on used goods than new at Walmart.

I attempted to pawn a ring until payday tomorrow and they said it wasnt real without even testing it. Im upset because they tested it the last time I pawned it and gave me money for it. I think they are just lazy and didnt want to do it.
