The crew were very helpful and knowledgeable. Liam was very helpful and explained the process and the parts needed to get my car back on the road. They did an amazing job and my car feels and runs better than it has in a very long time. The prices were a little more than expected, but at the same time, the assurance of a certified mechanic taking care of my vehicle, was well worth it. Thanks to the entire team at Midas. Your help and work are appreciated.
Liam and his Crew go above and beyond to satisfy the Customer.I only come to this Midas in LodiCalifornia and I am 100% satisfied with the Quality of service and 100% top QualityCustomer Service. I have beena Customer here for a few yearsAnd they never disappoint. I highly recommend 👌5 🌟s
James and Liam and their crew handled all my concerns with my brakes and rotors. They were extremely professional and Expediant. They will now be my goto team for my truck maintenance. Great job team. You have my trust.Jay Reese
Luigi was easy to work with as I had minimal interaction with the workers. Ordered tires and made an appointment online. Unfortunately, the store was never informed of either. There was a $100 labor charge.
There crooked and did $500 work on my grandma car and never fixed the problem and refused to fix it or refund her money
You dont want to know almost 3 weeks. Still waiting for parts. Hope they dont add extra things that arent broken due to what others are telling me.
Nice and friendly staff. Liam is very nice and professional. I got an oil change and brakes done. Went back a week later, had to replace my control arms and ball joints, with 2 new tires. Prices was great. Overall great service. Very satisfied customer.
They are thieves trying to say something else is wrong with your car when its not try to charge extra on things that dont exist dont go here unless you want to be hussled
This place carries the “Midas” name and I thought why not go there. They are located on E. Kettleman ln in Lodi, Ca. I got good service at Midas muffler in San Jose, where I used to live, so I thought I would be OK here. No, what they did to me here was a crime. They got a job that they couldn’t handle and rather than tell me, they went ahead and attempted to do this work. I bought the part that I needed from a Volkswagen dealership in Sacramento because Midas told that it would take weeks to get my part and the dealership happened to have it in stock. Anyway, I gave the part to Midas and I never took the part out of its box. Midas called me late on a Saturday afternoon (the parts department at my Volkswagen dealership had just closed shop) and told me that the part that I brought to them was the wrong part and may be damaged (what?). The Volkswagen dealership is one of the largest and most well known dealerships in Sacramento and my thinking was that they would not give me the wrong part and if it was the wrong part, why did Midas still tear apart my ignition and remove my steering wheel, which did not need to be done if they didn’t have the right part? I ended up having my car towed to NIELLO Volkswagen in Sacramento. There they told me that Midas’ repair shop had tried to force the ignition part into my steering column and had in fact ruined the $220 part that I had bought from Niello. I had to buy the same part again from NIELLO (AT COST). Good people . I took the parts that Midas had taken out of my car and put them in a box for NIELLO so they could put it all back together and get my ignition problem solved. Many tows involved, parts ruined and $$$$ spent that didn’t need to be for a job not only not done, but totally botched! No stars for this Midas shop at all, and the manager can look you in the eye and lie to your face with no problem.
This place is a joke!! One caliper? Rebuilt?? Are you serious? I checked around after I agreed to it and I should shopped more. Oh yes! Break pads have the lifetime warranty. Not the labor though, which is sub-par. No. I will not go here again. Rio Vista Ford quoted me roughly $400, 450 for both calipers. $529 and thats after I got a 40 off discount for a coupon I scrounge up.
Midas has always did me good i am happy with midas.
Amazing, best work, honest, and payment plans for car work!!! Im going back
Lack of customer service, it seems the staff is not quite ready to exceed customer expectation.
I take my cars here for alignments and they do awesome work. Trust the midas touch
We had an emergency with the alternator going dead and this was the only place open on a Saturday at 2pm. The girl who helped us was super knowledgeable and super friendly. We traveled here for a weekend wedding from Bakersfield and they took care of everything and got it fixed by the next day. Super kudos for the techs and staff.
Ive never gotten a raw deal from the guys and girls at the Lodi Midas. Its usually same-day service (even when I dont have an appointment, they usually manage to squeeze me in), the service is always courteous and polite, and the estimates are up-front and accurate. Most recently I dropped my Jeep off for an oil change and a new power steering pump at 5 PM on Saturday (Memorial Day weekend) and it was ready at noon on Sunday. Got a free tire rotation and a full complimentary inspection, too. Always loads of coupon deals and discounts going on, too. Just about everything you could ask for in a mechanic.
Had an appointment and the guy at the front desk skipped me and helped the man behind who didnt even have an appointment. Why make an appointment if the staff doesnt honor it and helps who ever they want first. It made me wonder if it was because I was a woman and he didnt think I knew anything or because I was Hispanic and the man behind me was Caucasian. I really dont know but I didnt let it ruin my day.
They changed my brake pads and rotors, my car is running so much better. Definitely, would take my car to them again. Thank you.
Great servicethe best auto shop I ever used
Said a serpentine belt cost 200 and labor price would depend. I gave them the car information and they still refused to give me an estimate. Ended up paying 20 dollars for a serpentine belt at another shop. Serpentine belts usually cost from 20 to 100.
Sneaky snakes here . The guy name was Jose they changed my oil and supposedly put the highest quality in my car. I come to pick my car up and I am told I have a leak yet they dont know where... How can you be a mechanic and say I have a lick and dont know where its at Jose said I need my shocks replaced in the front they said it would be a 1200 dollar job I went to another mechanic to look at my car in my shocks were perfectly fine they didnt need to be changed so they lied about it Ive then told him about the leak they said I had in the other mechanic told me I had no leak theyre just trying to get money off of you if you dont know about your cars do not trust these people! Go to
These folks spotted a serious problem on my car. They fixed it quickly and reasonably
Very nice and good working
I will never go back
Brought my car in for a squeak. I pick it up with a squeak. $330 dollar fix and now they want 900 more for something else because it still isnt running properly. Single mom and its been two weeks since Ive had a car... they kept changing the day the part was coming in. Got it back today.... still cant drive it. Its a 2016 no reason it should be this many different things with great care.
These guys went out of their way to be helpful and got us a good deal on repairs and parts. Customer service was excellent. Highly recommended.
I made an appointment for April 12th brougjt my car in first thong the morning knowing this was an all day job for a timing belt I got call on Friday stating that car will be ready appoximately 10:30 or 11:30 am I got there nothing was ready I got updates on the car because Im asking what is taking so long been there approximately 9 hours waiting no accommodations and then I still did not get my car was told that they had issues pulling the car apart on Friday until I waited 9 hours with no car. They waisted my whole day when I had errands to run. They held my whole weekend and now I have to find ways to get to work on Monday because they still have my car. What a big inconvenience this the saga is going on will see if they have it ready today very unacceptable.
It took almost 2 hours to get my oil changed. Anywhere else Im in and out in a max of 30-45 minutes.. took 15 minutes to get my car into the shop with an appointment and twenty minutes just to run my card to pay for the service. Will not be going back this place is a joke. Im so disappointed.
In and out. Good people
The customer service at this place is terrible. I only ever go here if the jiffylube is super busy and I dont have the time. I use the coupons I occasionally get. I dont understand why it takes an hour to get an oil change when Im literally the only person at the shop. Its just a really uncomfortable experience.
7 hours to change my front brakes with an appointment, seems excessive but happy with the work done.
I would definitely avoid. I went there to get four brake pads changed, two rotors changed and they smoothed out two of the front rotors. I stayed there the whole time. The power went out for about an hour and they did not do much with my car then. However, at the end they charged me for it and it took them 3.5 hours to complete! I have previously gotten all of my brake pads changed in 45 minutes-granted with two people working on them, but there is no way it should have taken that long! And they tried to say part of it was because they had to order a part...just because they have to wait to get a part doesnt mean I should get charged for it while they arent working on my car! Never going to a Midas again.
Great service will go again
Reliable service. Reasonable prices.
I phoned in to get an estimate for a wheel alignment and oil change. The price I was quoted was $10 less than when I went in later the same day. When I told the young man writing up the work order, his manager (?) stepped in and challenged me. Asked who had told me that; they dont ever give that price; a bit of attitude actually. Fine, I needed the job done BUT if anyone quotes a price be sure to get their name; dont assume theyll honor it. Stayed while they worked on the car; drove it home.Had to take the car back (30 miles each way) as the mechanic hadnt reset the idiot light on the dashboard.About a month later, it seemed like the car (2009 Prius) was losing a small amount of power. Mentioned this to husband & son-in-law. A couple of days ago the dreaded check engine light came on. Checked online & the manual & was depresses as most of the options were going to be expensive. Discussed w/husband & SIL. Got a recommendation for Lallos in Valley Springs, phoned them and took the car by.Turned out that when the mechanic at Midas changed the oil he hadnt put the filter in properly & didnt close the filter cover--it wasnt latched in place with any of the 3 latches. (This was identified as I watched the mechanic do the repair.) He opened up the part under the filter, cleaned something out with a solvent, put the filter in properly, LATCHED the cover, and confirmed the warning light was off.Yes, I could have driven the car into Lodi and asked Midas to check it -- but I didnt have a lot of faith in them. Are they crooks-- NO. Are they sloppy about their work? Based on my personal experience, YES.Would I go back? Probably not.
Wasted my whole only day off. Called asked if they could change my caliper, let them know the piston was frozen and that the rotor was bad, they said yea bring it down. Sat here all day for them to tell me 30 min after they closed they couldnt put the rotor on. My advice go anywhere else but Midas of Lodi.
I have had my car serviced at this location multiple times for oil changes. I called on Aug 11th at 10:30 am to schedule an appointment for my brakes to be done on Tuesday Aug 15. I was quoted 240 for brake pads and an alignment. I arrived 30 minutes early to my appointment to discuss pricing again. My profile could not be found so the employee made a new account. There were no other customers so I didnt expect to be there very long. I asked to add an oil change and I agreed to the new price. I was told the oil changed and brake inspection would be done first and take only 30 minutes. 30 minutes went by and he came back with a list of what needed to be done and how much. I was hesitant by the price because my brakes had only started making noise a few weeks ago. I agreed to the price without the back brakes being done, signed the papers, and was told it would be another 30 to 40 minutes. There still wasnt another customer so I figured I could deal with the price for such quick and efficient service. An hour goes by, another employee comes in and was quietly talking to the employee at the front desk. A couple phone calls were made and he finally apologized for the extra 30 minutes of delay. The shop didnt have the parts and they were waiting for them to be delivered. I was a little disappointed because I had called the week prior, discussed in detail the price and my type of car. A basic 2009 honda civic. How could the shop not have parts for a car they knew was coming in for specifically a brake replacement? 2 hours went by, no one came up and gave me an update or apology. If I wouldve known the amount of time it was going to take, I wouldve left and ran errands that I needed to do on my only day off that week. My mom, whos car it is and I use for school and work, calls me to ask for an update and I tell her I havent been updated for 2 hours. My mom had to call and ask when the car would be done. All of a sudden my car was ready. I wasnt offered an apology, reduced price, or even coupons. I paid and left. The next day, I was driving to work and my steering wheel began to shake extremely hard when I hit 60 mph. I slowed down and noticed it pulled to the right as soon as I let go. I had to drive in the slow lane and was late to work. I paid 90 dollars for an alignment which obviously didnt get down, which means the tire rotation and balance wasnt done either, I can only assume. My whole experience was completely disappointing and I will not be returning to that location. I had to take my car to another chain repair shop to have the alignment redone and my tires correctly rotated and balanced. I ended up spending 3 times as much as I was quoted and possibly damaging parts of my car because of the low quality work done on my car.
I came in at 11:55 to get an oil change and I asked how long it would take to get an oil change he said 30... it is now 1 and Im still waiting thanks guys now I get to show up halfway through my movie!!
Really great guys great customer service gave the car a good inspection toldl me whats needed all for a price of 24.99 includes rotation in and out in 30 minutes
Great service
I will never use this location again. If you need anything for your vehicle do not go here. Avoid it like the plague
Super expensive and a little impatient, they were a little helpful. Liam at the front desk was mad cute.
Outstanding service!
Quoted me one price and charged another ! Dont trust them... NO prices on their service board ! Now they say they dont have the brake pads and need another 3 hours to wait for part !
I had an appt at 9am I went there was there on time and they were not ready and the guy that was suppose to take care of us was on his cell phone for a long time, I was waiting for like an hour and he was still on the cell phone there was more people coming in and they were taking care of them first I am not happy at all with their customer service so I just left they are not organize at all 👿👿👿👿
This is a very busy place. Even though they were booked solid, they helped me out of a jam, and back on the road.
Worked with you and got the job done
Dont go to this place . They do a bad job, and will try to take every penny you got . The boss is the worst . Dont trust none of them .
🤙👍
